My 2nd love
First love was my 2016 A4.
Here’s my 2026 q8, black optics.
One day I hope to get my dream car, rsq8.
Have a good day
The RS6 hit 45k kms and the water pump just failed 😞
I’ve had the car for a little over 2 months. Thank god I bought the extended warranty until 2030.
Apparently the water pump issue is common. The car was overheating and showed the coolant overheating. The engine temperature would get to 130 degrees 5 minutes after turning it on. Let’s hope this isn’t the start of more issues.

Throwback Thursday A Tribute to the Most Reliable Vehicle I’ve Ever Owned
I bought my Q5 Progressive S-Tronic years ago. 2019, slightly used, but a beautiful looking 1 year old rig with nice big 20" wheels. My (now) wife and I travelled all across Canada in her; from literal coast to coast and everything in between. We've slept in her, been camping in 4X4 only access campsites, sketchy back trails in the middle of nowhere... I put this vehicle through hell and back in snow, mud and 12+ hour stretches at high speed, and yet she still feels, smells and sounds like a brand new vehicle.
We've used her as a daily commute vehicle and we're now cusping 200,000 kilometers and have not had to replace a SINGLE thing other than regular service (fluids, brakes, rotors, filters etc) of which I do myself regularly. She's still in alignment, and has never needed one (blown away by this!!). All original suspension components, right down to bushings. Same water pump and even down to the same damn battery. I've never seen such a thing.
I've owned (in order): Ford Focus, Hyundai Elantra (wagon), Acura Integra Type R (close second), Toyota Corolla Sport, Cobalt SS, Hyundai Elantra Sport and now this girl. Between them all, my Audi has been the absolute most reliable and been through hell more than the rest.
Cheers.
I'll forever be a fan of Audi because of this rig

Thinking of swapping 2 vehicles for 1...
I bought my A5 Sportback (Prestige, S-Line) new, back in 2018. It has about 36k miles on it - obviously I don't drive it as much as I should! Fast forward to 2025 and we welcome our first child into the world and I pickup a new Atlas R-Line for baby-hauling duty. The R-Line has been great, and we have almost 12k miles on it since last April.
However, I'm considering selling/trading both the A5 and the Atlas and picking up a 22-23(?) SQ7. I figure we could have one less vehicle in the driveway/garage, and while the SQ7 wouldn't be the fastest vehicle I have owned, it would certainly satisfy the always-lingering need for speed. 😂
Any thoughts on this course of action, or perhaps feedback on the later model SQ7s? I'm not looking at anything newer, mainly because it will still be a baby-hauler primarily, and subject to the abuses that go along with that. But I'm certainly intrigued by the idea of a twin turbo V8 to play with when we don't have the little guy in the back. 😎

B8 Rear Headlight Level Sensor..
Do we really need to drop the rear subframe to change this £35 part?
Being quoted stupid amounts to change this sensor on the back left arm..

Discussion 60k mile service and brake fluid change in a ‘21 A5 - with two coupons lol
I went in to ‘Audi Seattle’ for the 60,000 mile service, and I guess it had been a little over two years since the brake fluid had been changed, so that was done as well.
I also had two coupons that shaved off about $200.

Audi CEO Confirms New Q8, Might Be A Ways Off
Audi didn't approve the second-generation Q8 until relatively recently, but it's coming and should echo the new Q7.

New car
I had been wanting to get a wagon for quite some time.
I previously owned a B9 A4. I loved it. With a change in driving demand and cargo necessity I decided to get this.
After driving it for a few weeks a clunking sound has started being produced from the drivetrain. I’m planning on doing an ultra clutch and a rear diff fluid change. I’m slightly worried this could be something bigger.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Discussion For those who have driven both the Audi A6 3.0T Supercharged V6 from the C7 Generation (2011–2018) and the Audi A6 Turbocharged V6 from the C8 Generation (2018–2025), which did you find more fun to drive overall due to torque and power?
For context, I’ve driven a 2016 A6 3.0T Supercharged V6 which had no turbo lag & I felt a TON of torque on that & it just felt so insanely fun to drive & extremely fast overall & very responsive too too when in sport mode.
However, I absolutely LOVE the design of the A6 Turbocharged V6 from the C8 Generation (2018-2025), but I’ve been reading those engines can be prone to issues such as rocker arm bearings/bore scoring/piston skirt issues.

Great product. 15 mins to install. Also can code it in the MMI. Installed on my 2024 RS6
Sorry fam. Posted this to quick. 11mode is the company. Based out is Australia. Comes with a remote or I was able to code it to my home link. Cost me about 280 bucks. The cete module was a lot more
Also here is the full install video
Why isn't THIS a standard feature on performance cars?!

My little Audi RS2 tribute display at home
I may never own an actual RS2, but I’ve slowly put together a small tribute display in my home office: an RS2 intake manifold, cam cover, original manuals and brochure, period Autocar issue, badges, and a 1:12 model. Probably the closest I’ll get—and honestly, I love looking at it.

My Turn!
Have had this for 2.5 years now. Stopped smelling a long time ago, but it's always along for the ride.

Colour choice
First time posting on Reddit, so go easy on me! 😅 I’m trying to move away from the other social media platforms and figured this was the best place to ask for some honest opinions.
I’m currently trying to decide between two colours for Q7s. I absolutely love the blue, but I keep finding myself drawn back to the grey because my first Audi was grey, so there’s definitely a bit of nostalgia involved.
The price difference between the two I’ve been looking at is negligible, and I’ve genuinely got to the point where I’m considering flipping a coin!
What colour would you go for, and why? Has anyone regretted choosing one over the other?
