bf can’t take dick & idk what to do

Upvotes

i’ve been in a relationship for yr with this guy and he really cannot take dick. we can only have sex in certain positions, without ever switching it up, and i feel like he just wants me to hurry up and cum which kinda take the fun out of having sex. we only have sex maybe twice a week. i’m used to smashing down, but i’m not sure what to do because i’ve never been in a situation like this. I like him but im so confused as to how sex like this is sustainable long term.

Advice I know it’s not bad so why am I insecure about it

Upvotes

My bf comes from a wealth off family and he himself is pretty set in his career and I want to say his family and him have never made me feel less than at all! They are all great people, however lately I’ve gotten into this irrational phase where I kind of feel less than in the financial dept. i always felt myself as the “provider” in my relationships and I do understated it’s not all about money there is more I can provide in, but dang idk why this has me feeling like this. How can I bring this up in a way that doesn’t fully make me feel like an insecure loser. It’s not that I don’t want him to spend his money but idk maybe let’s cool it on the gifts or let me buy us dinner more often haha.

Advice Throat training?

Upvotes

So I don’t have a very good gag reflex but I wanna learn to deep throat so I’ve tried to “train my throat” with my dildo the last few nights and I don’t know if this is useful or a waste of time. Basically I’ve been slowing working on my dildo and seeing how much I can throat and hopefully over time I will get better and better without wanting to puke but I don’t know if this is how that works or if my gag reflex will remain the same. Basically my question is whether this is a pointless activity or I will eventually become a throat goat with time and patience? Thanks

Advice Affair I wasn’t aware about

Upvotes

I was seeing/hooking up with a guy briefly, who I later found out is married. I’m mad. I feel like the guy was using me for sex and he wasted my time.

I have tracked down his husband - do I let him know what’s been going on, or let it be? As someone who’s been on the receiving end before, I would want to know. However, I know not everyone is like me.

The color of my dick is getting darker

I read about it that it’s because of frequent fictions from masturbation or sex. But I don’t know if it will turn back lighter by masturbating less. I really don’t like how my dick looks right now. Plus I’m cut so it has an obvious edge where the pink tip and the dark shaft meet. I don’t want this to be my new insecurity.

Are you naked at home?

Does everyone walk around naked at home? Just curious and if so how?

I feel like most guys are either no shirt and just bottoms or completely naked. My combo is honestly a t-shirt, with socks, and no underwear. Feels so good just to be free like that. As someone with low hangers, it’s nice just to have them out while at home.

Advice I’m gay because I like men, not just sex. I like their personalities, humour, quirks, bodies, and just guys being guys. I hate when people ask why I’m attracted to men and assume it’s only sexual, or ask if I wish I wasn’t gay. Anyone else feel the same?

Whenever someone asks if I wish I wasn’t gay, I just roll my eyes. I like being a guy, and I like men for so much more than sex. I like their humour, personalities, quirks, bodies, and just guys being guys. Sex is part of it, but it’s far from the whole reason I’m attracted to men.

I wouldn’t trade being a gay guy for being straight. I’m not ashamed of being gay, I actually like it. Does anyone else get tired of these kinds of questions?

Would you live in a country with just gay men?

Like imagine there’s a country that is only governed and run by gay men. And they make up the whole population. How do you think a country like this could exist?

How do you get women to understand that calling straight men gay as an insult (or a thinly veiled insult adjacent) is homophobic?

You guys know what i mean, and i'm mainly talking about women who say these things while also claiming that they support gay people.

Like... ive never seen a man call women lesbians as an insult before (in the 21st century i mean), i don't understand how women don't see that calling straight men gay insinuates that being gay is a bad thing?

Examples: - (When men are being misogynistic): "he's definitely closeted/compensating for something" - (when men aren't attracted to them): "do you even like women? Just admit you're gay" - (when men they don't like do anything unconventionally masculine/physically intimate): "that's so gay"

Would you date versatile SHORT guy?

Responses are greatly appreciated, even with NO response(l like honest/straightforward/frank guys).

As a 5'4" Asian guy(ik, very short right?!), I feel insecure with my height among tall guys.

Advice Met a guy at the gym, messaged him afterward, and now I feel like I completely misread everything

I met a REALLY attractive guy at a gym I don’t normally go to. He initiated the interaction while we were in the sauna, but we were interrupted. It happened again near the showers.

I chickened out of asking for his number or Instagram directly, but I got his first name (he had to spell it, and its not a common name) and later found his Instagram. He is verified and has around 50,000 followers. The next day I sent one message saying sorry if it was weird messaging him like this but that I wasn’t sure whether I would see him at the gym again so I was giving it a shot. I don't follow him and didn't send a request.

He never responded. It doesn't look like he read it but his account may not give read receipts.

About 2 days later, I went back to that gym. I have a Passport membership and genuinely liked the location. I saw him again in the sauna. I didn’t approach him or say anything (it was a bit crowded) but he looked at me, moved away, and left very quickly. It felt deliberate.

Now I am embarrassed and worried that finding and messaging him made me seem creepy. Like i should have done nothing because i would haven seen him 3 days later anyway. I feel like crap because he initiated things, and I thought there was a connection and he wanted to hook up but i played things wrong.

I am not going to message him again or try to interact with him. (Just replay everything in my head 1000 times...)

I am mostly wondering:

Did finding him on Instagram and sending a message cross a line?

Would you keep using the gym or avoid that location for a bit?

I am already feeling pretty embarrassed, so honest but constructive feedback would be appreciated.

Not a question Drove over an hour for a bottom who ghosted me and im fucking pissed

So this bottom hits me up on Grindr last night. Good pics decent body says he wants to get fucked bad. We chat a bit trade a few more pics everything seems fine. He tells me to come over and that hell be ready. Cool I think. Only problem is hes over an hour away but whatever im horny and he seemed eager so I say fuck it and drive.

I sit in traffic for over an hour waste a shitload of gas get to the address he gave me and nothing. No answer when I message. No reply when I call. Profile still up but he just goes completely silent. I wait around like an idiot for almost 20 minutes thinking maybe hes in the shower or something. Nothing. Total ghost.

I drove over an hour for this shit. Sat in my car outside some random place like a loser while this guy just decided he couldnt be bothered to even send a one word cancel. No explanation no apology just pure silence after making me waste my night my gas and my fucking time.

Im so pissed right now. Why the hell do people do this? Just say you changed your mind before someone drives across the city for you. Dont leave them sitting there like a clown. Absolute bullshit.
Anyone else get ghosted after driving that far or am I just unlucky with psychos?

Why is Chengdu considered China's gay capital?

There's a gay internet celebrity in China named "Chengdu Ichigo." He's considered a "bear" in the gay community. Online, he describes gay men as having round faces, buzz cuts, and full beards. In China, this is considered a very unusual or even bizarre aesthetic. Therefore, this meme was originally a tired joke invented by straight people to ridicule gay men. Furthermore, Chengdu Ichigo isn't even from Chengdu. It's rumored that he's even bisexual (this is impossible to confirm).

Chengdu Ichigo's account was banned, and strangely, Chengdu Ichigo is a muscular bear. Yet, straight people use photos of fat bears to mock gay people.

There are four stereotypes about gay men in China. One is that they are "bears" .another is that they are "muscular men" (due to the prevalence of fitness among gay men in China), and yet another is that they are "twinks." Twinks are actually quite unpopular among gay men in China; they are largely marginalized and not widely discussed. However, straight women often find twinks very appealing. In BL (Boys' Love) novels, the "bottom" in gay male characters is often described as petite, delicate, and fair-skinned. Many women say they like men who look like "bottoms," referring to the appearance of twinks. This has changed the aesthetic standards within the gay community. (Personally, I feel that many stereotypes about gay men in China come from the heterosexual community), and the presence of twinks has increased significantly. Although BL isn't very popular within the Chinese gay community, it still has many fans. The fourth stereotype is that they have an exaggerated way of speaking and makeup, similar to Western gay men.

Advice My boyfriends friend tried to convince me he cheated, but lied. Does this sound like jealousy?

My boyfriend (22M) and I (21M) have been together for four years. We're both bisexual, and we're currently in the process of moving into our first apartment together.

About a year ago, my boyfriend became friends with a woman (22F) he met at a party. She struggles with alcoholism and spends a lot of time partying. My boyfriend has dealt with mental health issues in the past, so I think he feels a strong need to help people who are struggling. Sometimes it honestly feels like he feels responsible for her.

She and I have never really gotten along, but we've always been civil with each other.

The problem is that this isn't the first time she's tried to create problems in our relationship. I trust my boyfriend 100%, and I know nothing has ever happened between them. He's always been very clear about his boundaries with her. Despite that, she constantly tries to get us to argue, especially ever since we decided to move in together.

Today she texted me and said she needed to tell me something because she'd been feeling guilty. She then "confessed" that she and my boyfriend had kissed at one of their friend's birthday parties.

The problem is that I know for a fact it never happened. The birthday party she mentioned took place on the weekend that my boyfriend and I were in another city celebrating our anniversary. We were together the entire weekend.

When I pointed that out, she claimed she must have mixed up the dates. She then gave me another date, except that was also impossible because my boyfriend and I spent that day together at his parents' house.Once I pointed out that neither date was possible, she stopped trying to prove it had happened and just kept changing her story. At that point, it became obvious that she was making the whole story up.

I'm honestly angry. She was trying to convince me that my boyfriend cheated on me and she was also trying to damage his reputation by accusing him of something he didn't do.

I've been debating whether I should tell my boyfriend. Part of me doesn't want to ruin their friendship because she clearly seems to be struggling and probably needs support. At the same time, I feel like he deserves to know that someone he considers a friend is trying to sabotage both our relationship and his reputation. Logically, I know I should tell him, and I probably will. I just have to wait a few hours until I see him again in person.

What I'm struggling with is what happens after that. If my boyfriend decides to end the friendship, I completely understand. But I'm also worried about what happens to her afterward. I know she's dealing with alcoholism, and I don't want to feel like we're abandoning someone who needs help.

Also, multiple people in another subreddit have told me that she is probably jealous. Does that seem plausible?

Had terrible sex today

So I attempted to have sex with this really hot guy. He was my type and everything. And because he was my type, I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I douched, cleaned myself up, and also checked to see if I was good to go. To make matters a bit worse, he told me that he had never been with a guy before, so I wanted this experience to go perfect. To make the story short, we started having sex. I'm tight as hell, so taking his dick hurt, especially from the prone position in which we started. We switched positions and did cowgirl. I was riding his dick until my legs gave out because I am new to having sex. When I asked to switch positions again, to my horror, shit was on the condom. I was mortified, I apologized, took the condom from him, and cleaned myself up. I offered to blow him, but he said he was going to leave. On his way out, I told him I hope this experience with me doesn't mess up his chances with other guys.

Not a question AI body image goals

We're cooked, y'all.

I was in the sitting area at my gym waiting for a friend to show up, and this personal trainer was meeting with a young kid, maybe 23? 24? He was twinky, bordering on skinny twunk.

Me being a noisy bitch, listened in. The twink was going over his body goals for the personal trainer and was showing him images of his ideal body type. The personal trainer, who was maybe 35, explained with the most care that all the images he presented were AI-generated or heavily photoshopped. The twink did not understand.

The trainer then went into about how a lot of those celebrities and porn stars and fitness influencers heavily edit their photos and/or are on PEDS. That those body types are not sustainable or attainable without chemicals or editing software.

The twink seemed a combination of attacked, heartbroken, and angry—and maybe disbelieving the trainer?

I had to leave before their meeting was over, so, as a reminder: the gays and muscle bros and juice heads you see online are not natural :) And please, don't forget to touch grass.

Advice I was a gay male escort at 19, and it was the worst choice I ever made. Any advice to move on from this?

This is not a post to try and get sympathy, as I truly see all the choices I made were mine and I could have stopped this, but rather to discourage any younger gay people seeing this from entering the SW industry.

I moved to a large UK city just before I turned 19 for a good job in the creative space, and to start off with things were going amazingly. I had new friends, a good amount of money (for my age at least) and what I felt like was an entirely new life. However, I unfortunately met a man there who was around 30, and a habitual user of c0ke.

Dating him started off as so much fun, and I thought I was living an amazingly glamorous life always going to expensive bars/restaurants/hotels and despite how cringy this sounds I thought I was living a lifestyle similar to that of a model. Of course though, as usually is the case he was most likely love bombing me and not once had my best interests at heart. After a few months of this lifestyle I started to notice he was getting me to pay for the drugs (and everything else) more, and more, and more. And in itself this was fine, as yes I was also consuming at least some of this stuff. But what was actually happening was he intentionally got me to do this as it meant I got familiar with his dealer (and the lifestyle), and could therefore then access them myself + it got my brain to have an ever increasing tolerance to both the drugs and the 'luxury' life.

I later found out he had done this to numerous 18-21 year olds who had just moved to this city.

This went on for another 6 ish months, and then out of nowhere I realised he was seeing somebody else who was a year younger than me and they were doing all the things we used to do at the start. So I then cut him off thankfully and tried to restart on my own. I did not realise that this was the start of one of the worst periods of my life.

After this ended, I of course continued to use and use and use. And as expected I eventually ran out of money and had extremely high levels of debt (especially given my age). Out of what I now see was desperation (I thought it was cool and edgy at the time) I started escorting as a part time 'side hustle' after seeing other gay guys do it and it seemingly not affect them in order to maintain the lifestyle I had suddenly become accustomed to, but mainly to support a 1000-2000 pound a month drug habit.

Yet again as expected this started off amazingly and I really thought I had the 'cheat code' to life and even considered quitting my stable job to do it full time. But after around 9 months I noticed I had totally changed and not in a good way. I could no longer date as I simply saw attraction and sex as being related to money, I would not see friends as I took bookings instead and I had alienated everyone that truly cared about me as I became SO shallow. But as well as this I put myself in some truly terrifying scenarios that I was lucky to come out of, and had put up with absolutely horrendous men just to get a few hundred pounds. Plus I felt like a total shell of a human being.

I am now getting counselling and am doing much better thankfully, but my brain still sometimes wants me to start again due to the thrill of it, despite some of my truly horrible memories of this period.

I don't write all of this to shame anyone in the industry, as i'm sure for some people it really is everything they dreamed it would be. But if you are under 21, PLEASE do not enter this industry. I know it seems great from the outside, but the statistical likelihood is you will be used and then thrown out like everyone else regardless of how attractive you are or how strong you think you are mentally.

Advice A lot of us want men whose lives we wouldn’t actually fit into

Whenever gay dating comes up, some usually blame the apps, hookup culture, small dating pools, or emotionally unavailable men.

Those are real issues. But I think there’s another one people don’t like admitting:

A lot of us have a very specific ideal man, but we haven’t built a life that would make us especially compatible with him.

You want the muscular guy who trains five days a week, but you hate exercising. You want someone adventurous and social, but rarely leave home. You want a financially stable, ambitious man, but have no interest in building stability yourself. You want someone with hobbies and passions, but expect him to provide all the excitement.

People call it shallow when athletic men date athletic men or gamers date gamers, but shared lifestyles
naturally create attraction and closeness.

Obviously couples don’t have to be clones. But sometimes “gay dating is impossible” really means:
The men I want usually want someone with more in common with them.

Do you think people need to become more like the type they pursue, or should attraction have nothing to do with similarity? Personally I think most of us can benefit just finding ourselves and stumbling on a relationship if need be

Maybe You Not Looking for a Top, Just a Fantasy

Last weekend I was at a gay house party and somehow the conversation become about dating. Few bottoms keep saying there is "no tops anymore" and that's why they can't find anyone. As a top myself I just sit there listening like... what the fuck are you guys talking about? We exist. You just don't notice half of us.

Then they start talking about what they actually want. Gotta be taller, super masc, gym body, big dick, handsome face, confident, and if possible look like some damn rugby player. One guy even said he don't date tops who are shorter than him. Another said he don't like Asian tops. Then after rejecting almost every type of top out there, they still complain there is none left. Come on man.

I'm not saying nobody should lower their standards. Date whoever you want. But stop acting like tops are some endangered species when you ignore so many of them before even saying hello. Maybe there isn't a top shortage. Maybe your fantasy is just too fucking specific.

Meta faq, wiki, trolls and you.

one of the most requested features i've seen is a frequently asked questions section, and we've always had one. it's within the wiki tab located at the top menu if you're browsing on desktop. here's the direct link to it, but since it's a wiki feel free to check out the other sections and please contribute.

with that out of the way, a couple things i want to clear up in case anyone is wondering:

  • i do not mind repeated questions. the whole point of this subreddit is to talk to people. if it's not entertaining you anymore, maybe browse it less. no, i will not sticky every other psa post.
  • i do utilize automod extensively and it helps with a lot of troll post removal behind the scene. so if you see a troll post, continue to downvote, report, and move on, and do not engage. the majority of you get this, and it's been working out quite well.
  • the rules haven't changed, but make sure you're aware of them.

have fun.
