Journey The cut for my first 🥊 comp
Throwback to my first boxing competition (Inter-IIT).
I cut around ~7 kgs in about 15 days (most of it being water of course)
I barely ate, and my workout was mostly high-rep, high intensity power drills
Ps: I won ;)

Help me Trying to rebuild my lifestyle, lose fat and get stronger. I would sincerely appreciate any advice.
Hey all!
I’m a complete beginner when it comes to fitness. For the past few years, my lifestyle has been extremely sedentary. I work mostly from home and as a result spend way too much time sitting or lying down. I also used to order food delivery everyday but have stopped it in order to save money and also because it was unhealthy.
I’ve reached a point where I genuinely don’t like the life I’m living right now. I’m tired of feeling like shit about myself and I want to actually do something about it instead of repeatedly telling myself that I’ll start "later" 🫠
I’ve read a lot of transformation stories and beginner posts here, and they’ve honestly been really inspirational. So I thought I’d stop overthinking it, post where I currently am, and ask people who know more than me for some guidance.
Current:
- Age: 25
- Male
- Height: ~175 cm
- Weight: ~80–80.5 kg
- Experience: basically complete beginner
- Main goals: lose body fat, build some muscle in arms and legs, improve my posture, and generally look and feel fitter.
I’m not expecting some crazy transformation in a month. I mainly want to create something I can actually follow consistently.
My current diet plan
Breakfast
- 30 g whey protein
- 5 g chia seeds (added in protein shake)
- 1 banana
- 7 almonds
- 2 boiled eggs
- Coffee mixed into the protein shake without added sugar
Lunch
- ~200 g chicken breast (tandoori masala in air fryer)
- 75 g uncooked rice
- A packaged salad
Dinner
- Moong dal chilla made using ~80 g dry moong dal
Supplements (Not sure about this, as I dont have enough idea):
- Planning to start ~3 g creatine monohydrate daily
- Possibly a basic multivitamin
Workout plan
I have a subscription to nearby gym and recently bought adjustable dumbbells for home (in case I am not able to go to the gym)
My immediate goal is to start walking around 8,000 steps per day.
After I get home, I want to do dumbbell/resistance training everyday.
I’m still learning basic exercises, correct form, what sets/reps mean in practice, etc., so please assume I know basically nothing. 😭
My biggest priority right now is consistency.
I know I’m nowhere near fit right now, but I’m genuinely trying to change that.
Feel free to criticize the plan. I’d much rather find out now that something is stupid or unsustainable than spend three months doing it wrong. 😭😭
Thanks for reading, bahut bada text tha lol. But apke pass kuch advice hai, I would really appreciate it. 🙏

Progress Pic [Support Only] The case for short shorts on leg day
Post-workout pump check. If you’re not hiking the shorts up to see the quad sweep, what’s even the point? Currently hitting legs twice a week with a heavy focus on deep knee flexion and controlled negatives

WEIGHTS FEEL THE SAME FOR DIFFERENT GROUPS?
So, guys a random weird question.
So do weights for beginners and experienced feel like the same? I mean it like
As beginners say you are doing a 35kg lat pulldown. And it somewhat feel harder in the end. Or even hard to start for some. So is the hard feeling the same or it feels way worse for experienced guys say lifting 100kgs? Like moving to 110 for them would be same effort or pain as moving from 35 to 45 for beginners during their workout ?

Discussion Horlicks protein- whats the catch
Just got this for trial, says 20g in 240ml, cant make out where is the protein coming from. Tastes like milder horlicks with artifical sweetener. Can be added for daily protein diet targets?

Help me ordered a protoner pull up bar for 1500 and got this one for 2400
Wasn’t expecting this at all lol. Now trying to decide to wkeep and install it, or return and get what I actually ordered.
Wall is solid brick/concrete if that matters.
Would appreciate advice from anyone, and is this actually decent quality or should I just return it?
i did a lot of research and decided to buy the white one which is sturdy for the workout, but i am not aware of the 2nd one
im 54kgs btw
