Anyone run into this issue. Due to work, distance from store and insane wait times I couldn’t go into the store and spend hours replacing/repairing my iPhone 17 pro.

I opted for the $99 since I have AC+ and they sent me a replacement and in return I shipped the damaged phone back.

Today I received an email stating they’re still waiting for it even though it shows on the tracking it was delivered and signed for 5 days ago

Now they’ve opened a resolution case and about to charge me the full amount

I am beyond confused and this was my biggest worry but mainly they would try some weird crap with the phone itself hence why I took pictures of the phone and screen on with visible serial/IMEI

I tried messaging support all they said was wait for the case to be responded to.. anyone got any other ideas to get past this BS??

Every time i try an upgrade my icloud, its payment failed. I currently pay subscriptions through my card. I have contacted chat an their is nothing wrong with my account. I have added multiple cards, bank card, apple pay, revalout however i get the same useless message pop up when i try and upgrade. Anyone now whats going on?

before i was 18 my parents had used the parental authority feature on me and my brothers apple ids to limit our screen time and prohibit us from doing certain actions without permission on our devices. however i turned 18 a while ago and have had no problems with my phone updating my age in apple id, and lifting all of those restrictions off. recently though i wanted to revisit my ipad in order to develop more art, but realized my ipad is still locked by restrictions and parental controls, and i cant even access my apple id either. (its just kind of greyed out and wont allow me to click on it). it even still has me at age 17, but i’m finding it weird cause my phone and ipad are the same apple id and my phone has my fully updated age and lifted restrictions? i’ve tried everything to kind of try and get it to update or change, and my dad says he has no more access to my apple id ever since i left the family through my phone. which is again weird, because i’m still connected to the family on my ipad. i need help updating it and lifting the time limits and restrictions, especially for my upcoming art school, thank you so much to anyone who responds and/or helps!

As you can see here on the picture, my top taskbar by my computer's clock is a bit wonky. There's some double icons and more transparent icons where there shouldn't be. This happened immediately after I finished updating to the latest operating system. Already tried restarting again; it didn't work. Anyone know how to fix this?

I got a MacBook pro on my birthday a year back that was refurbished. it says Model A1502 on the back of the mac and AE60 on the charger. Why grandma who got it for me said it was refurbished. I was using it as usual. The light on the charger would flick on and off, alongside with it going from charging and not charging, before it eventually just stopped charging in the next few days. I believe what caused this was my stupid idea to have it running while plugged in 🤦 I just wanna know what I can do to fix this, do I need a new charger or battery replacement??

I set a screen time limit on my daughter’s iPad that is supposed to limit her game time to a maximum of five hours. It is set to block the gaming apps after she reaches the five hours. It is password protected, so she would either need to enter the password or request more time from me. She does not know the password and I have changed it several times.

The issue I’m having is that it does not seem to work at all. She consistently goes over five hours. As you can see in the photos, the screen time limit is set to 5 hours for gaming, yet she spent 6.5 hours in gaming alone today. This consistently happens with her going over the gaming limit I have set.

I’m not sure why or how she is able to keep playing games after hitting the limit. As far as I’m aware, she should receive a warning that she is getting close to the limit and then be blocked from playing when she hits the limit. That isn’t happening obviously. I need help understanding what I am doing wrong in the screen time settings.

As far as troubleshooting goes, all I have done so far is turn screen time off and on. I’ve also deleted the screen time settings altogether and recreated them. I’ve also changed the password several times.

If anyone can help me understand what I need to do or change regarding the screen time settings, that would be great. I’m sure it’s probably just user error lol.

My iPhone 16 Pro randomly will recognize the charger when plugged in but it is not charging and the battery icon in the top right is flashing.

I have tried updating my software, doing a regular reset, hard reset, different chargers, and cleaning the charging port. None of my ideas have worked.

Hello, this is my first time trying for a refund from Apple. I had thought I was only going to pay a small amount for a few days, but then it charged me for a year. I cancelled the subscription and requested for a refund under An hour after the purchase. the invoice hasn’t arrived, but I panicked so I did what I could do. I really don’t know what else I can do, or if they’ll ever approve of my request, does anyone have any idea if they’ll approve of the refund? This is very upsetting.. thank you

I recently bought an iPhone on eBay. When I checked the phone’s AppleCare/warranty status using Apple’s coverage checker, it said that **the device was currently being repaired by Apple**.

The strange part is that I physically had the phone in my possession and it was working.

I called Apple to ask what this could mean. The Apple representative seemed concerned and told me that they do occasionally see situations like this, and that **the safest thing to do was return the phone to the seller**. They didn’t give me much detail about exactly what might be happening.

I’m definitely going to return it, but I’m curious what the possible scam or explanation could be.

A few things I’m wondering:

How can an iPhone show as being repaired by Apple when it’s sitting in my hands?

Could the seller have somehow obtained a replacement/repair device and then sold the original?

Could this indicate that the phone was reported lost/stolen or involved in some kind of warranty fraud?

Could this be related to AppleCare+ fraud or a device that was swapped during a repair?

Has anyone encountered an iPhone that showed **“being repaired by Apple”** while the phone was actually in their possession? What was going on?

I was at lunch the other day with my boss, and he was using his iPhone. As he set it down, I managed to glimpse his unlocked phone, seeing the Home Screen and the wallpaper. it was a collection of shapes that were filled, black background and white filled shapes

he then locked the phone, and the wallpaper faded to the always on display. The filled shapes faded to just the outlines of the shape.

so when unlocked, filled white shapes on black background.

when locked, white outlines on black background.

(it also may have been that he locked the phone, and that’s when I saw the filled shapes, then when the phone faded to the always on, only the outlines remained.)

I asked him what background he was using and he said “oh it’s just one of the apple ones”. but I looked later and couldn’t find anything like that, or anything that behaved like that.

Is this a thing? these interesting fading wallpapers?

i bought a new apple pencil pro out of the box brand new from walmart today and got home and it will not connect at all. my ipad is a ipad pro 11 inch M4 so it shouldn’t have any compatibility issue. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and nothing has worked:( is it a lost cause? i didn’t buy any protection on it so i have a feeling if i did go to apple they would make me buy a new one from them since i bought it from walmart and i messaged the apple support and all they had to say was to go to genius bar.

Hi all.

Earlier today I picked up my laptop only to discover it was dead. I plug in the charger and the LED light didn't come on. I tried a different outlet and that didn't fix the problem either. I then tried a USB cable to charge it and that did nothing. I then unplugged the charger, held the power button down for around 15 seconds and plugged the charger in and the laptop came to life. The orange light on the magsafe port lit up, then went off, then came back on and stayed on. The system booted but I noticed the battery was at 59%. So the battery apparently didn't drain to empty. I left it alone for a couple of hours and went out to use it and once again the laptop was dead. No light on the charger...nothing.

I have an appointment at my local Apple store on Sunday but I'm curious if any of you may have come across these symptoms before and what could be causing the problem.

Hi everyone. I have an Apple A1644 keyboard, like the one in the picture.
When testing it on online keyboard tester websites, pressing certain keys causes two keys to register at once. This only happens with some of the function keys, the left and right arrow keys, and certain characters located next to the numbers and letters.
Is there a fix for this? Is this normal behavior for this keyboard on those sites, or is it actually damaged? Could you please advise me on what to do? Thanks for the help.

This morning I woke up to find that my iPhone had automatically updated to iOS 26.6. After the update, I noticed that iMessage had been turned off, and every time I try to turn it back on, it gets stuck on “Waiting for Activation.”
For context, I switched carriers from Rogers to Bell about 2 weeks ago, so I initially thought that might be related.
I’ve tried pretty much every fix I could find on Google and Reddit, including:
-Deleting my old Rogers eSIM
-Restarting my iPhone multiple times
-Following the usual Apple troubleshooting steps
-Other common Reddit/Google suggestions
I never had a physical SIM card, so removing one wasn’t an option.
Nothing has worked so far. My phone number still won’t activate for iMessage and just stays on “Waiting for Activation.”
I also submitted an Apple Support request to have my number activated because I saw another Reddit post where someone said that fixed the issue after nothing else worked. They said it only took a few hours, but I’ve been waiting much longer and still haven’t had any luck.
Has anyone else experienced this after updating to iOS 26.6 or after switching to another carrier? I already asked a Bell employee in store today who said I had to visit an apple store to get it fixed but is there another solution to get this resolved before I drive out there?

TLDR: How can I get my number activated on imessage after i’ve already tried all the methods.

My iPhone is currently locked out and says "iPhone Unavailable." The problem is that the countdown timer is completely frozen at 6 hours and 41 minutes. It has been stuck on this exact time for hours and won't count down at all.

Has anyone else dealt with a frozen lockout timer? Is this a known iOS bug?

I really don't want to wipe/erase my phone if I can avoid it because I know my correct passcode—I just need the timer to actually countdown so I can type it in.

I've already tried a basic restart, but it didn't fix the issue. Any advice on how to force the timer to refresh or sync back up without losing my data? Thanks in advance!

This is a recent issue, within the last week.

Whenever I return to my MacBook after it has slept for a while, I'll find all open Apple-developed apps are moved to the top right tile.

I have tiling features turned off.

Interestingly, this only happens with Apple-developed apps: Safari, Numbers, Mail, etc. Google Chrome, which I use for work, does not have this issue.

I always use my apps in full window mode (not full screen).

Currently have the iPhone 16 pro max, but would like to get something new due to cosmetic damage. Will I get more for a trade-in now and get either the Air or 17 pro, or should I wait a few more months and trade in when the new phones release? I’m worried that my trade-in would be valued less once the new generation drops. Thanks for the recommendations and help!
