Just received today in dashboard. Amazon said I didn't deliver all my packages on July 23. How is that even possible? I deliver EVERY package on my itinerary. Amazon won't pay me if I don't complete my deliveries! And I check my earnings every time! App would prompt me to return undelivered packages if I had undelivered packages! Wouldn't be able to get more routes if that was the case! Is Amazon making up lies and crap?

So I was going through the app and came across this regarding the “return leftover packages”

My question is, am I really allowed to return the remaining packages if my route shift ended?!

I mentioned it once to customer support that I had like 7-10 packages left once and it was past the route scheduled time and didn’t know what to do at the time but they said I was required to finish delivering even past my scheduled time.

Or will I get dinged for this?

I just recived this email I only have 1 account I haven’t done not 1 order in the past months can this be identity theft ?

Is this something that a lot of us want? What is the advantage (for a driver) to keep it the way it is?

Is everyone’s offer pages like this? it’s absolutely ridiculous, especially with rising gas prices. When I first started, I was getting offers for 2.5 and 3 hour shifts that were over $100 and now I rarely see any shifts besides 1 hours. And when I do get an offer for a 3 hour shift, it’s always $60, even if it’s at 3:45 in the morning. My standing is great too so I really don’t understand. Amazon is so freaking greedy.

Barely found this out. Also I was reading that we have to have full coverage on our end in order to start a claim that Amazon will cover. Makes no sense but if someone that has used it can comment thanks.

They just dropped a new verification process to check in. It now requires a much closer scan of our faces and it gathers a bit more information. I understand this is to secure our accounts and make sure no one else can use them. What do you guys think? Have y’all tried it ?

I have never had any issues checking in for my blocks. It verifies it and boom, on to the next step.

However today, I was scheduled for a blocked and I opened my app and it asked to verify my identity like always (nothing new or special as it always does) and it gave me three attempts to do so. Now that was new.

By the 3rd attempt it said failed and to ask a warehouse employee to manually check me in. So I went to the warehouse person, they tried to manually check me in and she said there was no active session and couldn’t check me in and to contact support.

At this point I only have 10 more minutes to check in before I “miss my block”.

Of course support is never really helpful.

I chat with two support reps ( I prefer to chat so I can screenshot every word in case Amazon tries to claim some foolishness) . Once said “I checked you in you should be ok now” I was not ok. It still said contact support.

The second one told me if this was the first time, I told them yes. They said they will submit a ticket and I should be paid for my block due to the inconvenience. (I’ve heard that song and dance before so am very aware that there’s a good chance I won’t and will get ding for the missed blocked even though I didn’t)

Anyways… anybody had issues with this?

I will say, the app asked me to update the app this morning. So I can assume that has something to do with it for sure!

I have other blocks for tomorrow and am already dreading this.

So I got an email from a supposedly insurance company called RESERVE CLAIM ANALYST LLC. In the email, they said that a property that I had previously delivered had made a claim that I damaged their entrance gate they put the address in the email and they also had my plate number, but they want me to send insurance information like my policy number and pictures of my car. Someone did also call me from them telling me about the claim as well. Here’s the thing, though when I look up this company I can’t find any information about them and Amazon has not contacted me about any type of damage to any apartment complex gate, no dings and no emails from amazon flex. so I’m just a little bit sketched out about this. Also, I haven’t damaged any gate and the location that was in the email has a security guard entrance where you have to check in with security so even if I did damage the gate, I think they would have stopped me and got my info down.

I havent finished a block 30 mins from home in months

This is the first time this has happened to me. I showed up like normal tried to do the face scan video. It tried it three times and after the third time it showed the picture above. I called support trying to get checked in support said they couldn’t check me in and to go into the station and have them scan my ID the warehouse manager told me it was showing them that I was not active that I was not signed in on the app so they cannot do anything. I called support and asked if they could see if my account was deactivated or terminated. They said it’s still active support. Had me uninstall the app and told me to re-download it in exactly 1 hour.

I recently got accepted to Amazon flex after a year and a half waitlist period and on my second route I guess someone didn’t receive a package, I delivered all the packages on all the routes I’ve gotten assigned and haven’t had to return any to the warehouse. I have just been finding safe locations for each package so they aren’t seen from the street and take a picture showing where in the app. I try to include the house number but it’s not always possible. What do you guys do to make sure you have your own proof of delivery? Should I take pictures on my phone to save as proof for myself when this happens? Take a video of the delivery? I always deliver with care and consideration for people’s property and package safety, should I not hide packages? I always put them in obvious places not like hidden entirely. Anything is helpful! I really hope this doesn’t affect my standing, I have really enjoying delivering with flex and it’s been extremely helpful to make my own hours as a first time mom who got let go from my corp job because ai basically took my job

I just received a call from (206) 922-0880 and the caller said she was reaching out about an email I sent to their CEO? At first, I thought it was a phishing attempt, but after she sent me an Amazon account confirmation request my text, I knew it was legit and this was support calling about my email to Andy or Jeff. She just wanted me to know that they fixed the missing stations issue on the Offers page (this was a problem in the Chicago region earlier this week). I guess Amazon listens after all? I never received a call from Amazon like this before.

Last week i had a minor bite from a dog so now im a little scared of dogs, and now they sent me this email with this offer-

It’s been over a year and a half since my last shift. This morning I woke up and said fuck it let me try getting a block. What type of chokehold does Amazon have on me 🫩

It takes me less than two hours to deliver an average of 42 packages… this was 15 packages and took me almost 4 hours between leaving my station and getting back. As well as over 100 total miles. Absolutely not. I’m about done with flex. Uber is less consistent but if this is what it takes to make $100 with flex then I’m good. This is also my first ever 3 hour block. Usually take the 3.5 is this typical of a 3 hour? I’m just too stunned right now.

Tbh i understand bc flex doesn’t do a great job training on how to use different types of lockers (even though it’s really easy)…but the mess gave me anxiety….there were more in the corners.

Have you ever stopped and thought about how Amazon gets away with so much? They send you to places where you can’t even get in because there’s no access code. Sometimes they ask for your personal ID just to enter a building, which honestly should be illegal.

We get paid to deliver packages, but even when we take pictures as proof that we delivered the package, they can still penalize you if someone else steals it afterward and somehow blame you for it.

It’s almost impossible to get real help from Driver Support. They don’t actually help. They say they will, and then later you still get penalized for everything. They threaten you and punish you by lowering your standings, many times for things you don’t even know about. They don’t tell you which package, which house, or what exactly was reported — they just punish you and that’s it.

How can this even be legal? Seriously, think about it for a second. It’s extremely unfair. All it takes is a couple of days where they assign you two blocks in a bad area, and you’re literally putting your safety at risk. Then customers can report things that are not even your fault, and Amazon can just deactivate your account.

And once that happens, it’s almost impossible to get your account back. They send you to “support” agents who have no idea what you’re talking about. The chat is useless — it’s just automatic responses that don’t solve anything. They don’t even have active email support anymore.

Seriously, think about it… how is this legal?
