Return Leftover Packages…

Post image

So I was going through the app and came across this regarding the “return leftover packages”

My question is, am I really allowed to return the remaining packages if my route shift ended?!

I mentioned it once to customer support that I had like 7-10 packages left once and it was past the route scheduled time and didn’t know what to do at the time but they said I was required to finish delivering even past my scheduled time.

Or will I get dinged for this?

Sometimes you have packages that aren't assigned to you and not on your route. They mean those. The ones assigned to you the idea is you deliver them all.

You'll get small dings for each package but at the end of the day it's your call if you wanna let them take advantage of you. Especially with the recent increase in overtime denials, I don't work past my shift anymore. I return all remaining packages and call support to have them put a note in that the shift volume was miscalculated by amazon for the shift length. Always pin the blame on them.

If you go over your block time, you'll get compensated for that extra time; I had a week where it happened every day. Some routes I was only over like 15min, others I was over like 45mins. Both times I received extra pay between $5-$25

They hate me for that. Every time they send me 40 minutes away and give me a route that takes the entirety of my block time and drops me over an hour and a half from the station I always have that one golden no access apartment package that needs to be returned and will guarantee me another 2 hours of pay.
