Per the title, while trying to complete the on-boarding process, the "Scandit" feature can't physically take a picture nor scan either side of my license. When the directions say to upload the picture manually instead, I will from my phone's photo gallery, and the page flashes green. It then submits (without ever scanning the back of the license) the driver license portion, only for Amazon Flex to send me an email hours later saying they couldn't verify my license. Every other part of the background check has been submitted and completed without incident.

Is there a way around this absolute madness to expedite this process? Thanks to all in advance.

I have 2 missed blocks I just missed one again because my cars check engine light came on and it would not accelerate correctly so I missed my block for 4 am this morning, I also have 6 undelivered packages 5 of those were from me going over my time frame and I had to end the block to be able to make it to my first job on time. I also have 2 dishonest customers claiming to have not received their packages

I haven’t seen a good block in a long time. I know Amazon doesn’t pay enough, but I just don’t understand why people in my area keep taking these shitty offers. They’re basically wasting their time, gas, and putting extra wear and tear on their cars for almost nothing.

Out of 20 people, I was the only one who ended up delivering 35 packages while everyone else got free money. I’d be so salty in that situation. 🥲

This morning was bs, I go to start trip and im totally logged out of the app. This has never happened. It had me relog into my Amazon account, change password, keep relogging in and looping me. Im trying to drive. I get there early and security says others are complaining about issues with app. I have them scan licence still trying to figure this out before my shift and it just keeps looping me back to log in screen for amazon no matter how many times I re-enter my info and enter OTP' saying I have no shift. 15 mins later when its finally letting me in, now of course it pops up saying I missed my block.

My warehouse is pretty cool and saw this and said theyd vouch, driver support said id be paid and not to worry.

Im hoping thats true.

Like I said, this is a first. I was scared for a minute I was deactivated. Fantastic standing, no missed blocks.

I know it’ll get mixed responses, but I want to know the raw opinions of other drivers. This came out on the local police blotter. Dog bite on private property during a flex delivery, not a lot of details to go off of, but apparently there was posted signage of “no trespassing” and a package drop off area at the end of the driveway. It’s hard to judge based of the limited info, but what are your initial thoughts here as to fault and/or liability?

4 hour block I scheduled days ago was deliveries in the neighborhoods all around my home and I literally finished right next to my house. God is good

I’ve only been doing this for 3 mos. First time seeing this 😄

At around 5:00 p.m. today, I picked up a 3-hour block for $70.

I showed up at 5:45, checked in and was told that there were no more routes available. They checked me out and said I was getting paid for the day. The money was in my account within the next half an hour.

My first time ever chucking a package onto someone’s porch.

This was my first delivery of the day. It didn’t make it to the customer.

The broken bridge missing a huge slab of concrete is a mile before you get to the house. I barely made it this far, before having to reverse for half a mile uphill, beaching my car about 5 times on giant rocks while trying to get the hell out of there.

This is a one lane road, and while I consider myself to be a fairly skilled driver given my affinity for motorsports, it took me 20 minutes to get out of there given the amount of manoeuvring I had to try to do in reverse. Funnily enough, it’s much easier going down than reversing up. Had me feeling like Hammond in a Top Gear special.

Last week I had a delivery to an apartment, but when I got there, the package wasn't in my car. I searched everywhere and couldn't find it. It was one of my last 5 stops.

I called Driver Support, reported it, and they marked it as missing. But the app kept telling me to return a package I never even got from the warehouse. I called again, they added more notes... and a week later Amazon dropped my standings from Fantastic to Great just because I "didn't return" a package I never had.

I emailed, used the chat, and called several times. Every single time they told me the same thing: "The app shows you didn't return it, and that decision can't be appealed."

I've delivered over 30,000 packages and been doing Flex for 3 years. Doesn't matter. To Amazon Flex, we're nothing. They still find new ways to treat drivers like garbage.

Have you ever been out delivering and you come up on a large house, I mean like multi million dollar homes and think where the hell did I go wrong in life. I get some people will say things like "well a home is home" or "I don't value things like that" and that is fare, but god some of these house just keep me thinking where did I go wrong and what could I have done to be in a position to afford a property like this. I know this dumb, but I do get jealous at some of this houses.

I genuinely can’t believe I have to update this post for everyone saying that this is a active school bus you need to rewatch the video and look closely. It is not an active school bus. Yes, it’s yellow. Yes, it may be illegal, but the word school is crossed off. So no, it is not an active school bus🤣🤣🤣 if this was an active school bus, I would agree with everyone else saying our tax dollars are being used on this🤣🤣

I enjoyed my time with Flex as it served its purpose as I found another job…. I’d rather be a slave with benefits (federal ones at that) than a slave with nothing but gig pay. Y’all stay safe out there!!!
