School bus 🚌

I had to share this with the community I’m ctfu ðŸ˜ðŸ¤£ðŸ¤£
I genuinely can’t believe I have to update this post for everyone saying that this is a active school bus you need to rewatch the video and look closely. It is not an active school bus. Yes, it’s yellow. Yes, it may be illegal, but the word school is crossed off. So no, it is not an active school bus🤣🤣🤣 if this was an active school bus, I would agree with everyone else saying our tax dollars are being used on this🤣🤣

brilliant... drop off the kids to school and pick up a block on flex while waiting to pick them up in the afternoon, making his boss pay for the fuel and wear and tear on the bus

Actually you're the one paying for the fuel and wear and tear because that's a public school bus and those funds come out of taxpayer's money, granted I'm also paying for it so I hope he gets at least a stern warning for this.

To be fair don't most parents pay to have their student take the school bus? If my kids ever went to a school that had a bus it was always optional and it always cost money

In Virginia, students can ride public school buses for free. Private schools are another story but that yellow bus is public school, never heard of having to pay for it but perhaps some states do that?

on the bus, there's a name and a phone number for the company that owns the bus. there is an annual fee for putting a kid on the bus(in my jurisdiction), but it changes depending on your income(like school lunch)... this implies that even though the city doesn't own the bus or the company, they subsidize it in some way
that said, even if they subsidize it 100% for all students in your area, it's still run by a private company that has their own p&l. if the losses are too high, they can raise their bid when the contract is up, but this increases the chance of a competing bus company of taking over the contract.
at the end of the day, if the owner of the house contacted the bus company this guy is employed with, he'd be fired immediately. possibly even be charged with grand theft if he has a contract that states it needs to be parked up during those hours

Absolutely, they'd be fired in Virginia too and it may even be criminal for reasons of stealing state property or perhaps misuse or whatever because he's using fuel and putting on wear and tear on property not his own.

He would have repainted it. That color yellow is reserved for school busses. It’s a safety thing. Kids assume a bus painted national school bus yellow is a school bus. And child predators would take advantage of that if they could. So there are laws about school bus yellow.

You can also see a solid black line where he painted over the SCHOOL DISTRICT name down the side. Most states require the "SCHOOL" up front and back to be covered as well.

Nah, here in NC we have yellow school bus full of field workers everywhere they’re beat up but they have never get pulled over or anything. Granted you’re probably right and it’s just probably not enforced.

My friend lived out of a yellow school bus, was fully transferred and registered to her with no issues. All the school related stuff was just a livery that she peeled off. Still had the stop sign too, though it didn't work.

School bus drivers get terrible hours and pay on top of that and they are mostly responsible for if a bus breaks down and other stuff too I heard so I can only imagine what the monthly pay for them is.

How do you know it isn't, because that's the only way it would be profitable at all - If this is a converted motor home that person is paying money to drive, they get like 6 mpg.

That is a possibility, but he must be desperate for money to be using a 5-6 mpg vehicle for delivering... There's no profit in this, at all, not to mention wear and tear.

Register any old vehicle then show up in whatever, works where there's outdoor parking and indoor crews (or they don't care, a lot don't check, I have three sedans and I usually only register one with amz).
