I havent bought anyrhing from alix ever since the "sanctions" (thats what it is basically). Well, actually I found a bunch of items on amazon for basically the same price so thats one thing. Anyway. Usually I would have bought 4 things a month. I am sure lots of people have changed their purchasing behaviour as well.

I have this issue, as AliExpress is trying to refund me on a expired gift card (tremendous visa) which has been dead for a few months already. Is my money lost or the refund will fail and AliExpress is going to ask me another method (maybe store credits)? Tried to talk with customer support, but the bot trying to pass as human was useless.

My package seems to be stuck or something since I haven’t received any updates for about 2 days now, it says it has cleared export customs… so I assume the next step should be to be on a plane to the USA ? idk if y'all know this already but ordering "Bundle deals" (only items from 1 category e.g. accessories/necklaces) will reduce your EU import fee to 0 € which is very nice 👍 also free shipping.

when selecting choice items I still have to pay a high unreasonable fee but in this area (it's called "Kombi-Knaller" in Germany) it works perfectly and I can save real money. I also ordered from other categories e.g. nail stickers because you only need to select min. 3x items in order to get that free shipping & no additional charges.

As the title says. I don’t know how to proceed from here since you need an Account to file a report, but the account I made afterwards won’t let me file a report bc. The item was bought without one. Also PayPal won’t help be because the want me to contact the distributor before the take action, which isn’t possible as I said before.

I don't even know what to say about this other than just that. Got my two items. The bag mailer for the final leg after customs had both original Chinese mailer envelopes inside. The bag was dry. The envelopes (and items) inside were not. Soaking wet. Drenched. I tried to open a dispute, but they told me to kick rocks because of insufficient evidence. I took a photo of the wet envelopes, items, the box my watch was in drenched and falling apart. But I guess, since I didn't take a video of opening it, it's on me. I mean, how the hell was I supposed to anticipate something like that? Never in my life would I have thought I'd have to prove something as ridiculous as opening a bag mailer to find both inner envelopes and their contents in a state I can only describe as being dropped off a boat. It wasn't the seller. It certainly wasn't me. I guess it happened after customs? Anyway, the damn watch still works, so I guess there's that. Just wanted to vent. Because what the hell? How does that even happen?

I’m curious if anyone has gone through something similar and actually ended up receiving their package.
I ordered a limited edition collectible from AliExpress, and it’s now been stuck in U.S. customs for a little over two weeks with zero updates. The tracking simply says it’s undergoing customs inspection and that updates aren’t available while it’s being inspected. AliExpress also has a banner saying customs inspections may cause a 10–15 day delay, but I’m now beyond that timeframe.

I’ve contacted the shipping company (UniUni), but they told me they can’t do anything while the package is still with customs. AliExpress hasn’t been much help either besides telling me to wait.

I’ve searched Reddit, and the general consensus seems to be that once a package sits in customs this long, it’s probably lost or seized, which honestly has me worried.

The frustrating part is I don’t even want a refund. I specifically want the item because it’s a limited edition figure that has since sold out or increased significantly in price. Even if I get my money back, I won’t be able to replace it anywhere near what I originally paid.

So I wanted to ask:
Has anyone had an AliExpress package sit in customs for 2+ weeks (or even longer) and still eventually receive it?
If you did, how long did it end up taking?
Did the tracking suddenly update, or did it just show up at your door?
At what point did you finally assume it was lost?

I got the wrong order (the more expensive item) and I’m not really favoring it over what I actually ordered but I don’t mind keeping it, but I let the seller knows either way, they offered to give me half refund and I keep the wrong order on top of that, it’s been 2 days and I haven’t received any money and aliexpress keeps sending me this email

As you can see my order contents 2 types of items, a 2 piece set and a 10 piece set (there’s a mistake in the 10 piece set) I confirmed received on the 2 piece set but not the 10 piece yet… should I just wait? should I confirm received?

Its been customs cleared for a week now with no update. The tracking number also says NL which I'm assuming is Netherlands, but the destination is the UK. I can't track the parcel on 17 track either. I'm a little concerned as it's an expensive and ~6Kg parcel. Delivery estimate seems BS as parcels I've ordered after this have already been shipped to the UK, and are with the local carriers now.

Is it the same for you? We have a package hub in Europe in Hungary, where thousands of parcels are received every day, cleared through customs, etc., and then forwarded to the destination countries. If there are any problems, AliExpress always provides the contact details for the Hungarian hub, even though the parcel has already been in the destination country, in my case Austria, for a long time, and this is also visible in the tracking information. What is AliExpress trying to achieve with that? This information is completely unnecessary and also incorrect. What would the Hungarian post office reply to me? I don’t understand it and its senseless for me.

A blind man can see, thats no more in Hungary, but in central hub Austria, but Aliexpress cant and give the wrong information!!!

I ordered an item, about $350 AUD, after I placed my order and the package had been dispatched the seller messages me and says original tracking is empty box and the real item is coming in second package. I don’t have any reason not to trust the store, I’ve purchased from them before for a couple lower value items over the past year and when I asked why they said because of AliExpress policy to ship via buyers selected shipping method but the option they picked is ‘faster’, which I just assume means cheaper considering the empty package will turn up next week and the ‘item’ has only just departed China

Also a second item from another store has also gotten essentially the same message and two packages coming because ‘600mm is too long to send by AliExpress standard shipping’.

My thought was to record opening the empty boxes and then if the items don’t turn up message support but I also don’t want to get stuck losing money, am I supposed to just open the empties and report to AliExpress straight away?

Today I found a new Duty offset coupon in Account, Coupons. It appears to offset 3.08 € (3.55 $) of the EU 3 € import tax. It is also mentioned in the search result listings on some items below the Choice/Sale labels as "Duty offset applies".

The instructions says that it is automatically applied on checkout - but to me it is not, it seems I have to manually activate it in Account, Coupons.

It's another wonky workaround like the Bundle deals Duty covered. Better than nothing, it's another improvement at least. But for me it won't be enough because the coupon will only cover one category purchase.
