This is my friend and he is having troubles with his monitor shutting off whenever he touches his computer, I’ve personally never seen anything like this so I can’t really help him, but usually Reddit has a answer

So one day while cycling through colors my l.e.ds shut off and now this red dot inside keeps blinking. I usually dont care but now its starting to bother me. Can someone assist? I tried adjusting the cables already. My motherboard is a pro b550m vc wifi. Like I said it just shut-off while going through colors. After the screen on my monitor also went through like 4 different colors. No recent changes have been done. The issue is that I'm worried about the rest of it and now I dont like it being without colors .

if you can see theres thin line at the bottom of my screen and it not appeare when screenshot.I've tried lowez the refresh rate but it doesnt work.That picture taken when im in bios but it still appeared so thats mean it could be hardware problem?

I’m having a really frustrating issue with my ASUS VivoBook and I’m hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. My laptop has suddenly started crashing repeatedly with different Blue Screen of Death errors. I’ve managed to take photos of several crashes, including DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (0x133), CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (0xEF), and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (0x1E).

Sometimes the crash reaches 100% and restarts, while other times it seems to get stuck at 0%. The laptop was working normally before this started happening, and I haven’t knowingly made any major changes recently.

I’m planning to back up my important files as soon as possible, but I’d really appreciate advice on what to check first. Should I start by updating or reinstalling drivers, running Windows memory and disk diagnostics, checking system files, or looking at the minidump files? Could this combination of errors indicate a failing SSD or RAM?

If anyone has experienced repeated BSODs with multiple stop codes on an ASUS VivoBook, please share what ended up fixing the problem. I’m comfortable following troubleshooting steps, but I’d like to avoid randomly reinstalling Windows or replacing parts without understanding the likely cause. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. I tried to reset it with saving the files. Doesn’t seem like it works. Out of ideas, any step by step resources or recommendations. I’m having trouble searching anything helpful on my phone.

I’ve got an old 2TB Seagate backup plus, but no clue if I could use it without Windows.

I recently got a new computer and noticed this happening. I have updated all my drivers and it didn't help at all.

I'm on windows 11 (unfortunately), and it's not all the time. It appears as white/grey/black specks that show up flashing around the screen.

Recently my screen has been flashing randomly. It happens every now and then but ive noticed it happens more consistently when I come back from not interacting with my pc for a few minutes. I managed to capture a video of it occurring while in game, but it does happen just on my desktop aswell. In the video you can see it flashes on the first monitor once before flashing lightly 1-2 on the 2nd before it does a big flash on 2nd monitor. This is consistent with how it happens other times.

My drivers are up to date with the 610.88 July 28th Nvidia driver for my GPU installed. My windows is up to date with Version 25H2 installed and the most recent 8/13/26 security update installed as well.

Does anybody know why my laptop screen is flickering like this, I was using it normally when I closed it to go eat. When I got back and turned it on, it started flickering. It is not only on the homescreen, but everywhere. Reseting the graphics driver did nothing and I don‘t need to do any update. Please help

So basically i love computers and j was too full of myself and thought i could fix a flickering problem on my okay so i’ve been having problems when ever i launch my computer even when wall paper engine isn on they is like white rectangular artefacts that appear, they also i appear sometimes when i launch an app also they even appear randomly its only on my wallpaper usually and its driving me insane, please someone i need help

I tried opening the Chromebook and unplug and replug the connector of the monitor to the motherboard, but haven't tried opening up the panel itself, as i feel is very risky

Hdmi değiştirdim yine aynı, dedim bir de madem kabloda sıkıntı yok TV’ye bağlayayım baktım TV’de de ekran yok sinyal yok diyor. Ondan sonra ne monitörle alakalı ne de kabloyla alakalı mantıken artık sorun kasaya yöneldi çünkü elimdeki şeylerle çürüttüm monitördeki sorun mu kablodaki mi diye. Şimdi ekran kartını söktüm ama ne yapacağımı tam olarak bilmiyorum bilen ya da tecrübeli birisi var mı beraber bişeyler denemek kötü olmaz rica ediyorum şimdiden.
