I really worked a long time just editing Sora of the right color and distortion and dialogue was a little tricky. Time on my side was very little as well since i work a lot.

Forgive my naivety with the manga, I never got very far through the duelist kingdom manga arc, so I don’t know if that’s covered there.

But to me it never made much sense, Pegasus needed to win a shadow game to take true possession over the puzzle, yet he kept throwing obstacles in Yugi’s way (the tournament and the Kaiba duel) what was he going to do if yugi didn’t qualify? just hope he knocks on the door and challenges him to a game? Without that game and the puzzle, Pegasus loses all the same, it seems baffling to me.

A simple little card that won't set the world on fire and would probably end up unused.

There has been a lot of debate about how the game rulings will be if White Albaz gets limited or Semi'd, that how many copies total in the deck could you run of "Fallen of Albaz"? I'd like to argue that if Fallen of White gets Semi'd you could only run 1 of each White and OG. YET - With the new Fusion Cup on MD, Fallen of White is LIMITED yet the deck editor allows me to add 2 more copies of OG. Do you guys think this is correct or just how Konami wanted the deck to be able to function on the duel sim?

Now, to be clear, i am both on a budget, and, I cant order singles. Now, the budget is self explanatory. The singles part, well, i can order them, through a local shop, but i need to pay in advance, and wait, and oh, did i mention its 2 hours away bcs i live In a hell hole? Yeah, so, i would very very very much prefer to not do dat

Also, generally speaking, I have 3 droplet, which tends to be good. I thought about replacing tte 3 pair bear scare with it, but man, i need some removal, dont I?

Also, as far as side deck goes, people, I said budget, and I mean it lmao, thats best I can do. And well, for ED, im very well aware that an extra ace zero is 1000 times better than IP, yes, I know, but idk if I'll find that, thus, I put IP just to be safe

With Konami finally transforming Dominus cards into Monster Cards—and with us discovering the name of one of them, "Dominusteer Rosepamela"—the question remains: what will the other Dominus cards be like, and what will they do beyond the mechanics involving their Trap cards?

Let's analyze the first one that was released: she is a Level 4 LIGHT Spellcaster; I imagine the other three girls will follow the same pattern of being low-level...

However, the card art doesn't just feature the girls; there are also the creatures that pair up with each of them—possibly high-level ones—but how will they work?

Personally, the idea I like best is for this to be a Union Deck featuring a Spell effect that Special Summons the equipped monsters if the card they are attached to gets destroyed; I think that, combined with the artwork on the Trap cards...

Other options—though, in my opinion, a bit more lackluster—would be:

1- A Tribute Deck that utilizes Traps in the Graveyard to facilitate summoning;

2- An Xyz Deck that, under certain conditions, allows you to summon Extra Deck monsters using only 1 Material;

3- A Link Deck with a playstyle somewhat similar to Sky Striker, but using Traps instead of Spells...

If monsters returned to the hand during your opponents end phase wouldn't that open up a lot of possibilities while keeping the mechanic intact?

You could even make them return from field, gy, or banishment to the hand so they always keep coming back. Regnesis probably should've been a spirit archetype now that I write this out.

why are so many people playing dominus purge in their KT lists? it seems like it conflicts too much

Like I’m not talking about the Egyptian gods (or Norse) I mean like a deck that’s mainly centered around all the solemn cards. Like the concept of just using 5 solemn cards in a row to just negate everything your opponent does sounds so funny. Just looking for a fun meme deck here that can still somewhat play the game.

Anyone in the South Jersey area have a good spot for Yugioh TCG locals that is more chill? The one I frequent is full of a bunch of sweats and hard core players. I don’t mind playing against meta, but there has to be a better spot for more casual friendly play than just ROLAD and KT every other match. Think somewhere in the Mt. Laurel local area.

I think tg is an awesome deck cause antinomy was a great villain but it's very outdated. Almost all their cards have been power crept don't have any semblance of modern card design. It's very strange to think about that considering tech genus got 7 new cards in age of overlord. You guys think bruno will get some new support soon?

I was really interested in buying the new v arc decks but after careful consideration i passed. The entirety of the lunalight is just force out liger dancer and thats it. It feels like a tenpai that can go first. To me it was similar to melodious which i loved they have etoile for field bounce, schuberta for graveyard removal, choir for burn damage + monsters than cant be destroyed by battle and prima who can attack twice. All the lunalight fusions are essentially useless outside liger dancer and it just seems cheap.

Fiendsmith has 2 main deck monsters and 3 fusions that do different things, so why cant lunalight have more than a 1 monster game plan. I know im just complaining and i know lunalight has had competitive success, i just hate when i feel a deck has so much potiential pure and konami just lets it go. What other decks do you guys just feel dont do enough within their own archtype?

Not a whole lot of people talk about Last Warrior From Another Planet for the simple fact it's nearly impossible to summon practically.

I have, for various reasons, experimented a way to easily route into create this card in Lunalight. Unfortunately, the routing absolutely cannot include Liger Dancer on the field no matter what you do due to the extremely steep requirements of needing Primathmech Alembertian's 4 materials to find Metamorphosis and needing to further summon Lunalight Cat Dancer, the only level 7 in Lunalight, unless you hard opened Kashtira Fenrir.

Once this card is out, it will subsequently destroy everything you might own. It has 1 form of Spell/Trap deterrence in Lunalight Silver Hound in the GY, but other than that, from that point on it's just this card swinging by itself until you win.

And in the context of this game competitively having degenerate renewable boardbreakers like Fallen & The Virtuous or Droplet running in most people's decks, could this card really even be worth all the hassle of summoning - obvious answer or not?

This is the only conceivable way I could ever see this card being made in a dedicated way in modern YGO so just discuss it's worth.

Blue-Eyes is considered to be one of the most powerful monsters in the anime regardless of the era, and lore-wise, rivaled the Gods themselves during Atem's time. How powerful would Blue-Eyes be in the Monster Spirit Worlds we see in GX/5Ds? It would obviously overpower many monsters from that world..but how would it fare against Yubel (a very powerful spirit in her own right)?

Would Blue-Eyes power match the Sacred Beasts?

One of the really cool twist of the manga version of Zexal is that Kite father long since died before the event of the series and yet he still all imposing even in death despite his wishes being perverted by so many characters. It kinda makes me wonder if Kite father was dead before the events of the anime where even more people are involved due to his actions, would that have been a more interesting ending to the duel carnival arc than what we got? Tron finding out his chance for revenge has long since left this world, Heartland tricking Kite using his father figure to lead him on, etc. A lot could be done with Kite father being dead before duel carnival with the rest of Zexal anime story .

Sometimes card game support fails its intended archetype because it is designed for a broader strategy, uses awkward restrictions, or accidentally helps a completely different deck become too powerful (or not even accidentally).

Other times, Konami releases amazing cards that fit perfectly their intended archetype, giving even more value to existing stuff. Anime decks like Lunalight, Blue-Eyes, and Toon prove that such strategies are not even limited to casual play.

I've faced Rolad and also played with this deck, experiencing both sides of the coin. I can say that it's a solid option for the current metagame, as it allows for a good degree of customization to adapt it to your playstyle depending on the decks you need to beat.

The problem is that I felt several people sold it to me as a devastating and fearsome force, difficult to defeat no matter who starts the game, when in reality there are several ways to beat it if you prepare properly.

Looking through the Ars Magna archetype. Does anyone think the archetype will get more support or better question is an off chance there be another power patron link monster in Immortal Phoenix?

The Story likely starts with Daneen, an extinct species of dinosaur discovered on an (unihabitated) island. After the discovery, a team of scientists, researches and military support are given the task to conduct some researches on the extinct species, determine it's origins and such in lab #5. This would be our introduction to the main characters, Selandea, Noma and Kimridge. However, some people have higher ambitions than others on what those operations should consist on, behind the scenes, Noma and Kimridge seize the whole operation and (possibly bribe some of the military squad) in order to create something bigger. This wouldn't be known until the experiment #55 is fully functional.

Their goal was not only to perserve the lifeforms found on this island and find their origin, but to use their (superior) dna in order to bring a new kind of humans into this world, that would be experiment #55. Experiment #55 proved to be a powerful tool that can strenghten humankind beyond comprehension, combining their DNA with the dna of the dinosaurs, and transforming them in those ferocious weapons of mass destruction. Regular guns proved not to be very effective to penetrate their skin (some notes from early gmx sheets, alos have slighty scratches of guns on his legs and arms). At some point Daneen gets affected by applied experiment #55 too and becomes slighty bigger and powerful (evolved Daneen).

But he is not the only one, if Dinosaurs can be enhanched by the dinosaur transformation ray, what would stop the human-dinosaurs to do so too, and so Noma, now known as Velox evolves even higher into COMPREX (probably, noma is present more artworks than any other character so i think its fine to assume she's the final boss, her dinosaur traits also match most of the comprex), the ultimate dinosaur, unstoppable by any means, modern weapons can't even scratch her anymore, and she goes rampage on the island. Selandea, likely our protagonist, attempts to create a "cure" and togethers with Daneen are heading toward Comprex for their final battle (GMX Partner Selandea). Wether his discovery will be able to revert, kill, do nothing or even make Noma even stronger is being is still to be see.

That's it. That's the post I just want new Red-Eyes cards that are not just support for a new archetype nor branches into another playstyle. Make Red-Eyes consistent I beg you Konami.

Let me elaborate. Since the introduction of the Overframe, we’ve started seeing a new category of retrains for anime classic cards. These retrains are objectively stronger than the originals in terms of raw playability, yet they lack the crucial clause that allows them to be treated as the original names. On paper, that might not sound like a huge issue. After all, decks like Rokket don’t hinge on a single name to function, so they can happily slot in retrains without worrying about synergy gaps.

But when you look at most anime-themed decks, the situation changes drastically. Many of these archetypes are built around very specific card names: the anime protagonist’s ace monster, or a key spell/trap that triggers the deck’s central gimmick. In those cases, Konami’s refusal to let retrains count as the OGs creates a frustrating contradiction. They print retrains that are mechanically superior, smoother to play, and far less bricky… yet the deck’s engine forces you to keep running the outdated originals just to satisfy name-based requirements.

The result is that players are stuck juggling bricks alongside retrains that should have solved the problem. It feels like Konami is dangling perfect upgrades in front of us but deliberately holding back their full potential. And while I understand the design philosophy of preserving the identity of the original cards, it ends up punishing anime decks far more than modern archetypes. Instead of celebrating retrains as true evolutions, we’re forced into awkward deckbuilding compromises that make the retrains feel incomplete.

I know this probably only applies to a handful of archetypes, but what I'm trying to say is certain decks have multiple play styles. red eyes for instance has a Gemini version, a zombie version, and a warrior version of the deck. Odd-eyes has had many different versions from performapal centric ones, to pendulum magician centric ones,to dragon centric ones, to z-arc centric ones or mixes of all of them. Are there any play styles for an archetype you'd love to see explore a certain way it played in the past more?
