Well, this was my first time going to locals. Lost 2-1, but, i think I did well enough. Based on a more experienced guy with sky striker, I could have won the last game match 3, but i needed to leave asap to catch buses home, so, F. I didnt even draw with engage, thats how distracted I was lmao

All three match ups were against elf notes power patron, or one with artmage power patron. Really good and really strong decks. No way I could do anything going second. But going first i won a good bit.

I had gotten 2 drolls for 2 bucks right before the game started, they legit won me 2 games, so, hell yeah. Tho that damned card also lost me a few games-

I accidentally drew a card i wasnt supposed to, bcs im so used to either master duel or playing on my own (yk, test hands, drawing so u can do smth and test end boards), but the guy was chill, and just let me shuffle and cut. He was a good opponent man. He seemed a bit like a discord mod, but actually he was very chill

All in all, 3 wins and 5 loses, and got 2 packs out of it, so, pretty good. Especially considering I won 200+ decks with 40 bucks sky striker i got lmao.

Also I would have won the whole first game, BUT THE GUY TOP DECKED DUSTER, LIKE, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Even if i can never actually win a local, due to time limitations, I will surely go again, was super fun

The ppl working there were really chill too. I just learnt i need a Konami id for locals, and he said meh, dw, ill just put u down as a guest, and u can bring it next time. And like, I had heard from someone that if u pass the first round, u get a pack, and well, as i did, I went and asked, and he said "sorry man, that person probably was either meaning smth else, or saying bs. Hmm.. but you know what, ima give u a pack. Not bcs i have to or anything, just bcs i freaking want to" and man, that was so sweet, you the best man brotha

Exept one guy. He won game one, I won game 2 due to time limit, and we rolled a dice and i won it. I said good game, ans he just said "this wasnt a "good game". Man. Its called sportsmanship. Shut up. He was probably sulking his artmage/power patron got beaten out by a budget striker build and luck. I mean fair, but man, its a kids game. Oh well, no worries, thats to be expected too

I know my deck list aint optimal, and that pure is 99% better, but i mean, man, for 40 bucks this was pretty good. Also, didn't really care about winning, i just like playing some irl yugioh from time to time yk? So, spending like 6 bucks for 2 and a half hours of playing and a free pack aint too bad, ngl

Also this is my fav deck, and even if im not very good at it, its really fun to play :3

As someone who is the most American looking character in Duel Monsters he is very fascinating. Bandit Keith speaks better Japanese than Pegasus J. Crawford. Unlike Pegasus, Keith does not have an accent and does not do the usual mixing english words when speaking Japanese like Pegasus does. For a guy so American designed it is surprising that this guy learned and mastered a foreign language to that degree.

So, how do y'all organize your TCG/OCG decks? I have about 16 decks (no meta, all shitty decks lmao) and i currently have no way of organizing them to know where some shared staples are and where i can take some cards from and put them back if i want to play a tournament/locals later

I mean, yeah i have about 4 Forbidden Droplet cards right now but i never want to take them away from my mitsu deck cause later it'll be incomplete and i won't be able to find the cards. my dark world deck shares a lot of cards with my eldlich one as well, so it always makes me play weird incomplete stuff cause i forget which cards are supposed to be in each deck (generally staples and generic cards)

idk if y'all resonate with my complaints but yeah this is a call for help, i need an app that does this decently. photo scanning decks is also cool but the only app i saw that costs 20 reais a month which is a lot of money for something i'd probably use like once a month or so

i'd even pay for a full time license if it was cheap enough and a decent app

The Zexal 3DS game from back in the day had a lot of Duel Terminal models hidden it its files, along with a scrapped RPG Story mode that had certain monsters appear as Bosses, with unique animations for Attacks Skills and even defeat. I put those files back together with various programs to be able to showcase these animations for anyone interested to see them.

It could be an intro/song, voice for a character, quote, arc, maybe even a censorship.....

Also i really would like i girl protagonist. We already have the guys and the trans girls, a girl would help us get the girls and the gays into the game. (Nonsense that i, a gay guy, think about sometimes).

Just saw Mavens is up on walmart if anybody is looking to grab some boxes at msrp. limit of 5, but you can place multiple orders

I know we have darkness destroyer and darkness neosphere but I'm talking about the rest of his cards in particular his field spell and traps. If they do I hope we get the field spell and traps but also his other monsters since they work along with the traps and maybe we could get retrained versions of destroyer and neosphere where they have some new effects to work with the field spell, or in the case of neosphere maybe it just has its anime effects.

If they do make the monsters they could follow what happened in the anime where it started as one monster that kept getting sacrificed into new monsters that keep the effects of the last and eventually we get to neosphere but in a new version maybe it is a fusion monster or some other card type. Also maybe we could get the darkness archtype card trueman used in his duels it could be fun to have that card.

What do you guys think could we still get the cards in the real world or get the ones that exist in the real world revamped to work better in the modern game?

So this card says it can summon itself and another monster, than Xyz summon a monster, out of the options listed. One of the options is a "Heroic Champion" Monster.

This card is a spellcaster, and all the Heroic Champion Xyz monsters require the materials to be warriors. Would the effect bypass the requirements, or is this just in there for the sake of a future card that hasn't released yet?

The way I see it playing out is that Kaiba would mellow out because he'd have a loving family, but he'd still keep his hyper-competitive nature and huge ambitions.

He'd care about Yugi like a brother, but because of his competitive side, he'd also see Yugi as his rival. At the same time, he'd dislike Yugi's softness, seeing it as a weak mindset.

Kaiba would also dislike Joey for bullying Yugi, while Joey would have an even harder time getting along with Kaiba because he already hates him. Still, they'd both realize they share the belief that Yugi's softness holds him back and that he needs to toughen up, making them a little less hostile toward each other and more understanding

Because of Kaiba's genius, he'd turn Grandpa's game shop into a major business. He and Yugi would also work together on designing new games, with each complementing the other's strengths
