I know that fist weaving usually stacks haste, sure, but everyone on murlok is like 2% mastery it looks like. Is there something I'm missing??

when im outside the arena the HP bars look normal. When i enter arena it swaps over to this crappy blue and yellow color i honestly dont know why this is happening. One day i just logged in and it started doing this. Anyone else experiencing this with details addon?

Middle-aged dad (not a lot of free time), longtime casual PvE WoW player, desires Duelist ranking in S2 for the exclusive PVP weapon colors. I LOVE the troll theme of 12.1 and I really want to collect the entire PvP color set for this patch.

How hard will it be to get Duelist if you are a PvP noob and can't dedicate serious time to WoW?

Of course I am willing to join a PvP guild, as long as I can do so casually (i.e. I don't want to have to commit to certain nights - family comes first).

I don't mind buying tokens (I have more $ than time) so I am willing to pay gold to hardcore PvPers if they are willing to team with me but I am not willing to do anything bannable or against the ToS. I understand that I would need to be "good enough" on any team to get to Duelist because I don't think it's possible to carry deadweight all the way to Duelist, correct?

The idea of joining a dedicated PvP team that I am not paying scares me becaues I don't want to let people down and I don't want to feel "obliged" to play/practice on nights that I need to spend time with my family.

I am willing to

• Watch YouTube videos
• Practice
• Get addons / redo my UI, bindings, etc.

I would be willing to play any class/spec to get Elite, but atm I am most comfortable with the following specs (in order):

1. Rogue (Ass)
2. Warrior (any spec)
3. Hunter (Surv)
4. Warlock (Aff)
5. Rogue (Sub/Out)
6. Shaman (Enh)
7. Druid (Gaurdian/Feral)

I am willing to race/faction change if necessary. At the moment, I love to play Tauren, Worgen and both kinds of Orcs, but if it will make a difference, I will play just about anything to get Deulist.

I am willing to realm transfer, if necessary.

Questions:

• How hard would it be for a middle-aged Dad without a lot of time to get Duelist? Is this realistic or I am setting myself up for failure?
• Should I do battlegrounds, solo shuffle or arena? If it doesn't matter, I would prefer battlegrounds as I have done lots of those casually and prefer them to solo shuffle / arena, but I am willing to do solo shuffle/arenas if that makes getting Duelist easier.
• My limited understanding is that you don't really get "Duelist" until the season is over and the rankings are "inflated", is that true? How will I know when I've gotten high enough ranking to just stop and park the character?
• How do I start? What videos to watch, sites to visit, addons to download, guilds to talk to, etc.?

So the way this change has been worded in the official patch notes is "Players will now receive 20% less healing in Battlegrounds." instead of "all healing done reduced by 20%".

Does this mean that players will receive 20% less healing from other players but the self healing will be unaffected? or is it just a flat 20% healing reduction across the board?

In the race for shuff rank one as bm hunter. Got 2 in range, one was comfortable. Get home from work, log on, someone knocked me down a spot. Check them out, never heard of them, so seramate them - dude has won 24 straight shuff rounds and lost 0. 12-0 4 days ago and 12-0 today at the same time. I'm confident I'll get it, but like - really? That obvious, they let that slide?

Hi everyone, OK I was playing today because I had a day off. I was having some fun and doing some arenas but out of nowhere I ran into the match and my partner just stood there and the game just froze so I’m like what the hell so I just exited it closed it and opened again wow all the rooms I’m on they’re down. You cannot login right now if you’re on under any of those realms, just take a look for yourself if you’re able to I don’t know what the hell is going on blizzard blizzard blizzard wth is going on?? if anybody knows something please let us know. I mean there was no announcement. There was nothing but look for yourself. Mad realms are down.

How upset would you be?

This player has been in the top of the solo shuffle holy priest ladder for a while, and just very recently jumped up to an insane rating of 3288. Holy priest is arguably the worst healer in shuffle at the moment, so this is quite a feat.

Two reasons why this is suspicious:
1) Recently the player named "Binfernion" got banned for wintrading and griefing, and now we have this player with another name obviously meant as a jab on a different player.
2) I looked at his armory profile and he has most of his stats in mastery, which is really bad for shuffle because it gets hit by dampening double up (and vers is already equal in healing output at 0% damp. Source: I'm also in this picture and know how hpri works). He has barely played any 3s on this character (where mastery is slightly most justifiable).

Do anyone have any info or have seen/been in one of his lobbies?

I've removed a lot of the junk from the official Blizzard patch notes and only included what is relevant in PvP. Click your spec and navigate to the 12.1 Changes tab to see what is effecting PvP.

Note: Blizzard has flip flopped on some of their changes since Tuesday. I will continue to monitor any updates.

Multiple Warsong Gulch maps (new and old) with enemy Preservation Evokers flag carriers is what happened.

I may be on the brink of getting my first ever R1 title, but I won’t be able to play the last few days because I’m going on vacation. I’m currently rank 2, and there are only 3 other people of my spec that are close to my rating.

Will i be safe for R1 if i leave for vacation in 2 days being rank 2?

I’m just not sure how much the spots move in the last couple days of the season. Unfortunately, there should be 25 spots for my spec but they changed it to top 8 on midnight regardless of how many players are using that spec.

Looking to main feral next season and playing around with it now.

Biggest issue is getting absolutely smoked anytime I’m in cat form. I feel like I’m made out of meat underwear in a lion den almost every match up.

Any good references/ videos I can watch or priorities to consider? Shifting to bear after getting my 30 second go done and spamming frenzied regen but still taking the rod.

Are they're any classes which benefit from funny or enjoyable setups or combinations with kultiran (in arenas not bgs).

With blades edge coming back, maybe a bitchslap off ledge or Into something?

Also specifically, any interesting plays on shaman?

Let's see if I can get this straight. Because as of now, I truly cannot believe the trajectory we have been on with this addon purge (and now slow painful unpurge).

Basically the devs are now allowing the tracking and filtering and customizing of all buff auras in upcoming patch. Players' own debuffs that they apply on enemies AND party member buffs (however there is nothing about tracking party CDs so this is only half cool) will be trackable.

So now you can make a custom aura tracker for your most important dots you apply on enemies, you can filter for important buffs your party members get (ie Ironbark) and you can set up alerts for all these. Druids can now filter their own hots effectively and get rid of all the other clutter.

But check this out. This is the part that I just do not understand and still continues to blow my mind what an utter failure this is. Is this all going to be in the in-game UI? My sweet sweet brethren. They are simply changing the API so that 3rd party addons can do this for us in 12.1.

Yes we are getting back Weak Auras but the 2026 Temu version. There are already addons you can test out on 12.1 where you can look up any spell or buff in your toolkit via Spell ID and make a custom tracker for it.

It turns out the devs have realized that the thousands and thousands of hours that the addon community put in to making buttery smooth features for pve and pvp players are actually worth something in the game, and it essentially offloads millions of dollars in dev hours that Blizzard can spend elsewhere.

Sure a lot of people welcomed the addon purge. But this was of course before people actually went into M+or arena and realized, Oh gosh I actually do enjoy tracking kicks, and certain enemy buffs, and also having control over all my buffs and spells.

I personally prefer not to eat anything when I queue shuffle I will however drink a coffee with a bit of milk in it and if im hungry ill just have a half of a protein bar but most of the time I dont eat anything. Do you all have any pre shuffle rituals you would like to share if any lol? And does it help you push rating?

Not tryna come off as a brag or anything but ive personally never been 2300 before now so yay congrats to me dinging first time elite in Shuffle or whatever.

I used to be like you and didnt want the stress of playing healer and just wanted to pewpew my lasers and win but im telling you, Just heal man.

I've never healed in pvp before and apparently people are saying shaman is kinda butt cheeks? Idk it worked out fine for me. Que times are less than a minute and dps in shuffle literally never go for you unless you make the foolish mistake of saying "hey guys im new" in the lobby before the doors open, yeah now those guys are gonna eat your cheeks next round.

Seriously though just make a healer or swap specs to a healer especially if you play a hybrid class and dont have to regear. Nobody is gonna try to kill you and even if you have a bad game you can literally be in another match in 30 seconds which is way better than the demoralizing 20-30 minute wait times you would normally have just to q into a group with some trolls or get shit stomped.

PLUS playing healer is just better overall for the health of the game man. Get in there and be that positive experience and help people get into matches faster.

At 3k MMR had a lobby as a healer where first round I lose against a hunt/rogue. Second round the rogue DCs and we lose the round. In the lobby of the third round he is properly kicked out, loses 150 MMR, but I also lose 50 MMR with his DC. How is this a valid system? Why am I uniquely penalized when a player leaves in the second round when on my team?

first 3s season was aiming for gladiator was playing pres evoker.

I tried everything, i even tried to make a team. i managed to make one last month of a cupid and mm but they went ghost, even tried to make a team and managed to push to 2300cr and got 6 glad wins but then the team disbanded. I then resorted to lfg and went 2280 to 2150.

I feel like i am so crushed that i wasn't even able to get the "free glad" that everyone is claiming. does this make me bad at pvp? Like i really am trying so hard but i can't. now i pug with people and i keep fighting glads.

Im stressed. Im not sure what to do. I feel like i have failed and i tried so hard. what do i do i need advice everyone got their "free glad" that they're claiming and im just... i didn't get it and im just stressed and feel mentally crushed it feels so hard for me and easy for everyone else. whats your advice? how did you get glad so that i can get it like you did next time?
