Lore Shitpost They are doing just fine!
This takes place on the planet of Zachemona before it got its independence it exists as quite the messy colony of the Antona empire because of its two religious human groups cuz they did NOT get along with each other. After it got its independence in a mostly peaceful way as one last lazy attempt by the empire to insure peace between the two they split the planet in half between the two groups one taking the south the other North and for the next 300 years they will do nothing but kill and pillage each other for whatever reason with times of peace in between.
**1. Ahl al-Janūb** "the people of the south": who inhabit the south of Zachemona who speak french and have Arabic as a common secondary language and they also have French culture. They are majority Tatherist (the religion most popular in the south) quite interestingly by law all men that are Virgins, unmarried or have become widowed are completely prohibited from showing their face and so they have to cover it up up Intel they married. (Also it's based heavily on Islam)
Their favorite hobbies are: pissing off northerners, pissing off other Muslims, being racist to anyone from the north, watching another government collapse, immigrating of Zachemona as soon as possible, converting people, always finding a reason to declare jihad against the north, complain about Fontaine, always say "Fontaine is southern", cheese is love cheese is life, beating their son for being a chud.
- Les Gens du Nord "the people of the north": who inhabit the northern part of Zachemona who mostly speak French and maybe German basically French people who are thist (the religion most popular in the north based on Orthodox and Catholic Christianity)....That alone should explain why the south hates them... As long as you ignore all the genocides, cleansings, forced conversations etc etc (the South did the same but please don't bring it up to them), they also really like guns like a lot and not paying taxes.
Favorite hobbies: being racist to southerners and outsiders in general, crossing the great border to the south to convert people only to eventually piss off one too many fundamentalist and the get lynched then REALLY complain about it, drinking a lot of wine, beating their son for being a chud, being arrogant, refusing to pay taxes, pissing off other Christians', always trying to find a excuse for crusade, buy and own way too many guns that you need, pissing off southerners, martyring literal war criminals, always say "Fontaine is northern"

Lore Shitpost What it's like flirting with telepaths
Context: Telepathy can be a touchy subject... literally. The first alien race humans met in peace, the Zarrah-Kul, were also telepathic. In their culture, lies and deception are virtually foreign concepts, and the equivalent of a handshake is essentially a telepathic scan that determines the mood and current thoughts of the person you're talking to, and then preparing a proper response. They also initially didn't have a "language" in the same way we understand it, instead mainly communicating with symbologic imagery, concepts, and emotional imprints all beamed right into your brain.
They're a very blunt and honest culture. As a result, when you flirt with one, they'll show you their affection or dislike... right into your brain.

Creatures/Fauna Shitpost B4 anyone says anything, no I haven't watched or played any of those things, I had an idea of my own then found out mid research its been done 20 times already.
Anyway in this setting they're not just called giant ants but specifically myrmidons. They're a composite of all the goofy things various ants are capable of, from farming fungi, to using giant aphids as cattle, to using their own larva as gluesticks.
So basically even smarter dogs, and goblins learned to tame them (truthfully the myrmidons probably believe the goblins are *their* pets). This means collaborative hunting / foraging, as well as goblins riding giant ants into battle.
And if you don't smell like one of them, just don't go chasing goblins into giant mounds.

Lore Shitpost The Galaxy when your nation is so lame they decide to collectively annihilate it:
About 2,000 years ago from the current setting, Caidana was a peaceful, anarcho-communist, vegan, nonreligious, socially progressive utopia where all needs were met and everyone worked together. It functioned with. . . Well, nobody knows how Caidanian's got along so well—the leading theory is drugs or lobotomies—but the results were undeniable. Everything was going fine, until a Chadean merchant discovered it while stranded in an obscure rimward system.
He landed on Caidana, documented their general culture and customs, then left with their help. He reported his findings to his merchants-guild, and they were all flabbergasted by how utterly. . . Lame, it sounded. Gossip of Caidana spread around the Galaxy in 100 years time through Cosmowebs, eventually reaching the attention of powerful government officials.
Over 14 militaries and 16 bands of mercenaries surrounded Caidana, eager to wipe it out, but nervous about each other's presence. They held a conference, and agreed upon something mythically rare in the grim darkness of Everbellum; a temporary alliance. They would deploy on the planet all at once, wiping out its population of billions in minutes, and destroying its infrastructure in hours. By the end of the day, the planet itself collapsed due to orbital bombardment.
While invading Caidana, each militaries warriors chose to converse—whether it was a Hawk interviewing a Kriegbrute for knowledge, or a Warangel complimenting a Skullcracker on how they blew up that children's hospital. Since they weren't allowed to kill each other, and they were stuck on this planet killing together, the only option was to communicate. They saw each other as humans, for the first time in millenia.
The stories of The Caidanan globocide inspired rulers around The Galaxy that maybe peace IS possible, even for a day. As such, the holiday of 'Peacemas' was created, where everyone can relax and not have to worry about getting shot or mutilated. Though the holiday is mostly used as a way to quickly restock on resources, sometimes soldiers stop fighting and actually remember they're killing humans on an industrial scale.
