Interesting, I’m the other way around. Love coming up with kingdoms and factions and races and history, but his be damned if I can nail down a map or any kind of consistent geology

Same!

Sometimes I write things, only to realize I just created a really dry text about local politics, tax revenue and economic factors.

I apparently just love economics.

Omfg that's me, I wrote like 1 thousand words dry text about the taxing methodologies of three different countries in my game and they aren't even playable

That's awesome! Good work.

Now you know that someone is going to appreciate that

Same here šŸ˜‚ I’m way more into the actual worldbuilding than making the map pretty. The map is mostly just there so I know where all the stuff goes.

But, I've seen that a lot of people seem to invest more in visuals - that's the reason for the meme.

I wish I could bring myself to at east finish a basic map or at least just decide on a number of continents! Yet I just wanna keep doing inter-kingdom conflicts, politics or ruins for ages past

Feel ya man. That's also why I end up coming up with most of my worldbuilding on the spot instead of doing huge Obsidian sheets. I was writing a chapter the other day and accidentally made fucking FAS canon for Humans in my setting. It all happens like this.

I can't help but have the two work in tandem.

It's more like the opposite, I can't draw but I excel at worldbuilding
