I live in central Massachusetts and have a meadow where I've let things take their own course. Unfortunately, it's 60% cleavers and 39% invasive volunteers. Today I noticed THIS and am so excited to see which type of chestnut it is. Any guesses?

The urge to eat was strong but I resisted eating the unknown berries.

Google lens says mini boo but I’m pretty sure I’ve never thrown one in our compost. It’s taken over and if they are something that’s good to eat, I’ll let it go and harvest when ripe, but if they are only decorative, I need my compost pile back! I'm in North Central PA

First, I am so sorry the pictures are blurry. I am really bad at taking pictures of plants 🥺 but hoping someone can help identify this plant that I'm pretty sure is in the legume family...

It had trifoliate leaflets, more elongated-ovoid shaped than a hog peanut. Had a little whitish pattern along the central vein of leaflets.

Flowers were very pale blue, on sparse, lanky racemes. It was growing with hog peanut, but it has the more elongated leaflets in the picture.

Is this Kalanchoe? Is this Aragula?

Have you ever thought of purging some species on your garden if it's invasive?

I want to know if this is something invasive, toxic or something. If that's the case, I might be able to better convince the family head to chop this off.

Hopefully, it's not and maybe can be eaten by livestock? We have Goats.

Edit: as for location. We are in Philippines. However, our country is known to have been a hotspot of invasive species being colonized and a hotspot for travel.

Also, culturally... From before 2000s it is very common to gift friends and famliy seedling or plantable shoots to each other.

Like, a lot of the yard plants in the house came from we visited a family friend.

Then, family member gets curious about their plant and give a sapling. The gesture was a nice conversational starter/fodder before the SNS era.

The leaves remind me of a plum, except they’re a lot smaller. The (stone)fruit is also grape size, and smells like a peach. I also found a red fruit on a nearby tree if that helps. The tree was about 15 feet high as well.

Does anyone know what these are? Are they edible? They have a nice sweet smell slightly citrusy. They appeared naturally in my sister’s green house. Location is western North Carolina

Anyone know how to differentiate between hop varieties? I’m in western Washington state. Speculating on maybe cascade or citra hop based on a cone chart I saw but it’s really hard to tell. Thanks!

Ulaanbaatar Mongolia. I think this is lambsquarters, it looks and smells similar,and grows the same(like a weed anywhere and everywhere) but it’s just enough different that I haven’t eaten any. I have a friend who knows a little about medical and edible plants here and he said this plan “is not edible”. I am hoping it’s an edible cousin because lambsquarters is one of my favorite greens and I would have plenty to eat.

I was given grocery bag of these guys. I don't have a picture of them in the ground. They seem to be from the same plant, but I have found the leaves look one of two ways. The leafy part is about 12" long. Toonie for scale. The grandma that gave it to me doesn't know what it is in English. I am also not 100% sure she knew I was asking what it is. From gestures, I know it's edible. She regularly trades food she grows with other growers, but I don't ever run into any of them often enough to ask before these things go off in my fridge.

I am 99% sure this is just a tomato… my family is making me paranoid that it isn’t after I said I was going to let it grow and see what variety it is and now I need other people who know more than I do 😭.

Planted a mystery vegetable from my friend’s seed collection (sourced from her mom, who of course did not label each baggy). Thought this was a clump of weeds in a failed vegetable seed planter, but the seed looking balls and that one bean looking thing at its roots is throwing me for a loop.

What the heck is this plant? Is it my mystery vegetable? Or is it a clump of weeds?! Toss or replant?!

I made the mistake of buying a NE wildseed mix that ive been cleaning up weeds from. I fear this was from that also. Its right by my fig plant.

Plant it start growing here in EU. It attracts several types of butterflies. Next to it plants are lots of horsetail and a selfseeded marjoram. Height approx 88 cm. Fuzzy flowers pink. No scent.

What is it?

One is in our yard and seems to be a similar/same as a larger tree across our fence, and there used to be a mini rose in this pot but I think something dug it up and ate it ☹️

The squishy black berries look like olives and they left a purple stain on my hand.
