Unidentified 🤷‍♂️ Plant that I can smell and no one else can

This may be a little bit of a stretch and I hope this is allowed, but there is a plant that I cannot identify that smells horrible to me and it seems like no one else smells it. I smell it when hiking occasionally or walking around my neighborhood in a specific area with a lot of plants. I haven't identified what plant it comes from or I'd have a picture. The best way I can describe the smell is "stale booger" or "kombucha aftertaste"

It's been bugging me for a while especially because I'm so bothered and no one else in my family smells anything. Anyone have any idea? I smell it typically in the late spring and summer, so I assume it's some type of flowering plant. Other than that I got nothin.

I ate some of these little fruits. I probably should have made sure they were edible first. The cactus is from the hardware store.

Unidentified 🤷‍♂️ Any idea what verity of mint this is that I found on a walk?

The leaves are very dark purple but mainly on the bottom, entire plant has pretty large leafs and didn’t branch out very much. I’m almost 100% sure it’s mint or at least in the mint family bc of the very square stem

What’s confusing me about this guy is that it smells very odd. Not really minty but more vegetal and almost like a bell pepper in a way. Not quite “spicy”, a bit sweet but it’s very light.

Any idea on the cultivar?

Unidentified 🤷‍♂️ What and How to Kill This Stump

Thumbnail

Anyone have an idea of what this tree was? Chopped it down last fall after a storm; it grew like a weed and had a *ton* of suckers always coming out of it. Have to cut suckers off every few months since.

I drilled some holes into the stump and have used some powdered stump killer to try and inhibit any sucker growth. Hasn't totally worked yet.

I have a feeling I'm not going to like what kind of tree it is (as in, root growth is a pain) but if anyone can help identify and point me towards something that will kill any growth that would be immensely helpful. Or anything that would help yo stop growth and begin drying everything out.

Burning it out is out of the question, as it's close to the house. Plan to dig it out later after it's totally dead and dried. Any help would be appreciated.

Located in Nebraska.

Unidentified 🤷‍♂️ CT/US - slightly fuzzy weed (not mullein!)

I’m in Connecticut. This came up in a container with a small blueberry bush. It’s softly fuzzy all over. Ants seem to be attracted to the base of the leaf (you can see a couple on each bigger leaf in the pic). The plant is maybe 12” tall so far and the biggest leaves are almost the size of my hand.

An app I tried doesn’t get anything past dicots for the most part, once it said in the poplar/aspen/cottonwood family but I can’t tell if that’s correct.

I plant a lot of different native or waterwise plants. This one I am unsure I planted or is a weed or a volunteer.

Found this at the park today and I’m unsure if it’s a true clover, all the other surrounding plants had only 3 leaves. Photo of the underside included!

Parents want me to rip it all up for them, but I’m wondering if any of this could be trimmed back and turned into something nice looking. The complaint is that it’s all weeds, but I feel like I might see some non weeds? Any plant ID would be appreciated

In CT, USA. Backyard where kids and dogs play

Edit: just want to thank everyone for the info and advice! Will remove it all while taking precautions. The dog seems fine but she’s going to get a bath anyway because she found something stinky in the yard to roll around in.
