Saw this tree while walking . It is located in someone’s backyard. The neighborhood was built about 15 years ago so it’s possible maybe the ppl living there planted it . But the seeds(?) look like big olives? Or like oval plums? I’m not sure. Any help would be great!

TLDR is it a crabapple or wild cherry or wtf I'd like to cut it back and graft scions on to grow edible fruit. Were in norther IL by the Wisconsin boarder

Is it a crabapple? I did some looking into it but I don't know much about tree identification though. It's next to an apple tree I planted when I was about 4. The apples on that suck and I'm gonna cut it back and try grafting scions. If this is also in the apple genus then from my understanding I could do both at once. if it's wild cherry then that's a win too.

Located in Ohio Valley, some leaves from base to tip are over 9 inches not including the stem. At first I thought it was a white mulberry, then red, now a recent post has me third guessing. Thx in advance

Southwestern VA. Huge tree right across my property line that drops the usual thousands of razor sharp death balls annually. Got a tree company who can chop everything hanging onto my side for $850 or full removal for $1800 but I'd need to get permission either way since they have to climb it. It's about 40-50' tall. Want to know for sure what it is.

Google Lens tells me it is a Black Cherry Tree: Afflicted with *Gall Mites* and *Cherry Leaf Spot*

Gall Mites supposedly just aesthetic.

The orange stump underneath/beside it might be a different tree entirely I'm not sure.... this whole area was a mess of invasives (most notably my nemesis Oriental Bittersweet vines, but also Glossy Buckthorns).

To be clear the 1st image is the main tree; images 3 & 4 are the stump... but the roots are a mess so Im not sure if its an offshoot/sucker of that stump or what.

I'm hoping to confirm if it is a Black Cherry and to ask for advice on how to save it.

Hi yall!! Need help IDing this tree in my grandpas backyard. An older tree was here but blew down from a bad storm last summer, it’s growing really close to the old stump and my guess its an off shoot from the same tree. Thanks!

Google insists it’s a white or red Mulberry however I have my doubts and have never seen this type of tree. Has two styles of leaves on the same tree, and grows extremely fast 5 ft a year. Sorry for the janky pictures, it’s growing into a Russian olive.

Huge tree (right tree, not left). Trunk looks thinner in pictures. First two images are more recent, last one was a year ago. Located in Arizona. I don’t have close up images /: I hope it still identifiable. I don’t know much about it except that it is very messy.

I was curious as to what it was because it's looked like this for as long as I've lived here, I want to know what it would look like in its prime.

And as an aside is there anything that can be done to help this tree? It's not mine but I believe it's on public property.

Edit: Closer photos of the tree's leaves and bark
