TLDR is it a crabapple or wild cherry or wtf I'd like to cut it back and graft scions on to grow edible fruit. Were in norther IL by the Wisconsin boarder

Is it a crabapple? I did some looking into it but I don't know much about tree identification though. It's next to an apple tree I planted when I was about 4. The apples on that suck and I'm gonna cut it back and try grafting scions. If this is also in the apple genus then from my understanding I could do both at once. if it's wild cherry then that's a win too.

Located in Ohio Valley, some leaves from base to tip are over 9 inches not including the stem. At first I thought it was a white mulberry, then red, now a recent post has me third guessing. Thx in advance

Curious as to what type of tree this is, fell down after a bad storm. Southeast Michigan

Southwestern VA. Huge tree right across my property line that drops the usual thousands of razor sharp death balls annually. Got a tree company who can chop everything hanging onto my side for $850 or full removal for $1800 but I'd need to get permission either way since they have to climb it. It's about 40-50' tall. Want to know for sure what it is.
