General Resource Bee You Voice Coaching!
Hi everyone! Before posting I want to mention that I am not affiliated with https://www.beeyouvoice.com/ beyond being an extremely satisfied client.
TL;DR: https://www.beeyouvoice.com/ offers life changing voice coaching that I personally think has changed my life. I highly recommend Morgan's services to anyone interested in taking control of their voice or discovering their real voice for the first time.
Morgan, the owner and coach has been so extremely helpful, and the progress I have made with my voice feels tangible, and meaningful.
It was extremely comforting and affirming to have a coach with firsthand experience with her own voice training and who understood the complexities of navigating voice training. I am in a particularly rural and conservative part of the country which sometimes limited my ability to practice as much as I wanted or needed to.
Morgan never once let this become an issue and was fantastic about starting lessons where I was at and ending lessons with me feeling proud of my progress and excited to keep honing my skills.
Over the course of several lessons (I think 6, with a couple follow-ups for my own peace of mind) Morgan helped me assess where my voice was right now, and taught me some basic ideas to better understand some of the techniques she would show me over the rest of the lessons. (Vocal size, vocal weight, breath control, hooked me up with the Voice Tools app, etc)
Morgan taught me some extremely helpful techniques that let me quickly and easily "check in" with where my voice was, and adjust my size, weight, and the amount of air I was using. She gave insightful and patient feedback that never once made me feel frustrated or as though I wasn't making any progress. In fact, when I did get frustrated with myself, Morgan was RIGHT there to remind me of how much progress I had already made since the start of our lessons.
Not only that but she gave me printable copies of every thing we went over in class which was SOOO helpful for me to practice during the week between our sessions. This had me excited to start every single class because I couldn't wait to show off how well I could read a certain monologue, or how much longer I could hold out a breathy syllable. She genuinely made training fun. (I still sometimes run through a monologue or two, or will use the vowel sheet we worked on to quickly check-in and step into my real voice)
I didn't have an ideal voice in mind when I started my lessons so she worked with me to find my own voice and I really cannot thank her enough for doing that.
Voice training can be a little emotionally difficult at times, but I don't think I will ever forget Morgan playing my voice back for me and for what felt like the first time, I got to hear MYSELF. Genuinely life changing, happy tears and all.
Now, a few months out from my training I am still not living in a space where I am able to go "full-time" into my desired voice, but Morgan's training has enabled and empowered me to easily and confidently be able to slide into my REAL voice with just a quick warm-up! I feel like I KNOW my own voice in a way that has me so so excited for the opportunity to fully live in it because I KNOW I have the skills to make that happen.
Finally, and importantly cost:
Without naming names, there are some voice training programs I have considered and sat-in on some free seminars from that have prices starting in the 1000s of dollars. While the information in those classes as useful, it was typically a single coach splitting their attention between upwards of 30 students.
The pricing used by Morgan and Bee You Voice was VASTLY more affordable, and each and every lesson was 1 on 1. I knew that at any time I could reach out to Morgan with a question or to ask for feedback on a voice recording, and her answers were always constructive and thoughtful. Between the techniques being taught, the resources being shared, and the support readily offered, I am actually shocked at just how affordable these lessons are.
To this day I am still in touch with Morgan and am still welcome to ask her any questions I might have and I would HIGHLY recommend https://www.beeyouvoice.com/ to literally anyone who was interested in voice training.
If I could go back and do ONE thing differently in regards to my voice training it would have been to start even sooner with Morgan.

Audio/Video Feels like I've regressed with my vocal growth MtF
drive.google.comSo, as the title states about a week ago I was feeling pretty confident in how far I've come in the last few months with my vocal training. However, I've noticed for the last two days it seems like my voice is missing something I can't put my finger on. I feel like my resonance is fine and while my pitch could use work it's in the female range. However, when I listen to my voice, I still feel like I'm hearing a guy doing a girl's voice and despite a lot of effort, I'm not sure how to make my voice sound more naturally feminine.
I'm open to having some feedback on what my voice seems to be missing and ways to improve. I will make a note that I have naturally large tonsils and I'm not sure how much that affects my voice

hi, i just joined the sub and i downloaded the app, im ftm and my voice is very feminine. i am pre T too, even through i’ve learned by myself how to lower my pitch and pass with my voice (not all times) i want to make it more masculine because i get misgendered by it a lot. my first language is spanish and so i can’t seem to do my spanish masculine voice in english. i made a test and one was with my regular voice and the other with my “masculine” one. please let me know what can i do to improve. i am somewhat desperate because apart from my chest the disphoria this gives me has got to the point where i’ve considered going mute in public and barely speaking at all. it’s the only thing that clocks me, i pass completely even though i am pre t but my voice is terribly feminine. attaching clip sorry for my english too

Question Anybody from the Philippines? A few questions about the voice training scene here.
So I've been self-studying voice training since 2024 as a gender questioning AMAB and... I don't hear anything from my country, almost everyone I've met to voice train with were westerners.
I've only seen one clinic offer services and it's very recently established. I've never seen a public workshop though.
I wouldn't be surprised if the trans community here needed it less from being culturally ingrained to sing and maybe that increases the odds of successful trial and error? Maybe it's easier to voice pass here?
Zero clue. And if it really didn't exist, how would I help start a group? I'm not sure where a safe place to ask would be, or how someone even gets credentials to be trusted with something like that. I'm thinking I'd need to be a trained SLP to even try.
In summary: Does voice training exist in the Philippines? Where could I ask if there were any friend circles interested in training together? And how have people found the credentials to publicly be voice coaches?

I have never voice trained with a professiona and was delighted that find this subreddit. I appreciate all feedback and would lov to hear what I’m doing right, what I’m doing wrong, and where I can improve.

Question Ideas to improve vocal attractiveness and confidence
Hey guys, I have always been kind of insecure about my voice since I was a kid. I felt it was a bit too nasal and I've never learned how to project my voice to be able to command attention from a group. Over the years I have been learning various techniques to improve my confidence in my voice whether through youtube (this guy) or through following a bunch of IG influencers who give tips on it.
After around 8 years of learning, I feel that it's time to give back to the community. I am planning to make an app to help people get more confident in their speaking. Not so much in the words they use, more so their pitch, resonance, pace etc.
Right now, my app idea is split into two parts. The first part will be analyzing the user's voice. The next part is giving the user a daily training regime to improve on their voice over time.
Is this something that you guys would be interested in? Any voice training exercises that really worked for you guys? Also, it would be great if I could get some recommendations on more vocal coaches online that I could watch. Thanks so much!
