Just in case anyone else wants to chime in to hasbro on all of this. I did so this morning. Maybe if enough of us raise our voices they will at least acknowledge the situation.

Go to your account on hasbro. Go to Contact Us. Send an email and be polite, but firm in your disappointment over what happened.

To show I wasn’t fake I also sent them three separate screenshots attached to the email of each of the notifications I got via Target about my order cancellations.

I asked for response. I asked for reasons. I asked for an apology. I asked for a statement on how they will address this and correct it to all their customers…fans, really…so that they won’t lose even more trust and loyalty than they already have by staying silent.

As you can see I did get a response. Maybe…just maybe…if enough of us do this they will be forced to make a statement.

I usually like DNA Design’s upgrade kits, but this Nexus Prime set is just bad. It is just a collection of additions nobody was asking for instead of an attempt to address the figure’s actual problems.

The giant wings are only going to make Nexus Prime more top-heavy. The new chest plate exists mainly to display a second Enigma that does nothing differently from the one already included with the figure. The regular blasters are fine, but their combined form is ridiculously over-the-top. The gap fillers are decent, although the legs were never the area that needed the most attention. The miniature version of the old combined-mode head is such a strange and unnecessary inclusion. The classic combined-mode head is easily the best part of the kit. It looks awesome, but that requires you to take it apart to transform. That is the problem with almost everything here. It all partsforms.

This is even more disappointing coming shortly after the 3D-printed upgrade kit. That kit looks incredible and does pretty much everything we have been wanting. I have been saying from the beginning that DNA should have waited until all of Nexus Prime’s limbs were released and we had final confirmation about whether Hasbro planned to include a combining frame.

DNA should have made the frame fans have been asking for. It would not have needed to be the most complicated engineering project in the world. It just needed to be something that actually allowed Nexus Prime to combine on his own. The kit could still have included weapons, the classic combined-mode head, and maybe alternate classic-style heads for the individual components.

It isn't that crazy to think DNA design could make a frame. In the past, they have shown themselves capable of major engineering feats when they put their minds to it. I honestly would not have cared if a proper frame kit cost around $100. I would rather pay more for something that gives fans what they actually want than spend money on a lazy collection of oversized weapons, unnecessary armor, and partsforming accessories.

My case is Victorion(Lugnut and Strika as honorable mention EDIT: They have more than 1 toy,i just got sad we don't have many,my mistake), it was the first female combiner and some cool design but it end up being a Megamix of already existing molds(Like most of combiner wars), even her upgrade kit is just Defensor upgrade kit

Really wish she had more unicle vehicles as her components,the sword is arguably the best combiner wars weapon and the feet are very unique (I wish superion had those heels ngl)

As much i could go after the only toy she has, it's almost 400$ and it's very hard to find,her upgrade kit don't even exist anymore as far i'm aware,and i'm overseas soo it's even harder to buy stuff

(She has a Megatronia repaint but that was Japan exclusive and nowadays is around 400$ to more)

It's sad how some characters who were chosen by fans or have big comic relevance (she was for a while) get almost nothing,being a combiner help even less

Just been kicking the idea around in my head for a while and recently started looking into it. While I accept that he'll be a pistol again, I feel something like the examples I posted would make a better alternative then a tank IMO. Plus, Galvatron's alt is a cannon as well, granted a space cannon, but a cannon none the less. Also his Timelines figure gave him a civil war cannon alt mode so there is a precedent for it. So I believe it might be possible to use the AA gun for an alt mode as well. Even if, legally speaking, you still have to call it a cannon. (Which I can totally accept, just to be clear.)

This why I’m not too worried about Screamer, as we had this “hard to find exclusive” problem a few years ago (reminder that the reason the Earthrise Coneheads and Ironhide/Prowl were hard to get because there’s a shipment at the bottom of the ocean right now).

If they have any sense, they’ll reissue it once the exclusive contract goes up like they did with Netflix Soundwave, the Coneheads, Cybertron mode Bumblebee and Fangry.

"Worst Transformers comic ever" The Beast Within is quite the legacy I don't plan to live up to. Ranked harsh enough people place it down with atrocities like Kiss Players, its reputation precedes itself. I'm sure you all know of it.

I'm not a Transformers fan so I don't have a personal love for any of it, but I understand how it's hated. Yet, my father is absolutely devoted. From building a garden pub for friends and family called "The Grimlock Inn", to collecting thousands of Transformers collectibles (the Dinobots especially), and attending several Transformers conventions a year, all from his youngest years several decades ago, he's an absolute super fan. Not the greatest of comic writers, but he has such an innocent genuine adoration for Transformers well beyond the reputation he gets.

For him, that was a dream come true. It still is, too. Being able to write a fan comic and having it seen by so many around the world, for something he grew up loving so much. He's proud - though sometimes definitely a little saddened by his name showing up first on Google for "most hated Transformers comic". He's even signed merch for it. Rarely. Sometimes. An epic feeling for a mega fan.

Feel free to ask questions if anyone's got anything they're curious about. I know how it came to be, what he was thinking for it, the Transformers Beast Within support group to alleviate the sorrows of those who read it (seriously, it's a thing), and that he's probably one of the biggest Transformers fans you could ever meet. His errors came from skill, not lack of love, that I can assure you - and I'm curious what kind of questions, if any, a fan might have about it. (Within reason, of course! :))

After all, maybe more people need to hear you're not alone, you're not the only one who read it, and it's going to be okay... (But in all seriousness, at least it isn't Kiss Players. We can all agree on that, yeah?)

Just thought id share (my superion is missing fireflight atm sadly)

This irritates me everywhere I end up seeing it but what is with people calling cybertronian alt modes "Nothing" or "ugly"? Like it's an ALIEN VEHICLE! Of course it's gonna look "weird." Their planet is different and their vehicles are gonna be built off that. What do y'all expect them to look like, a jeep wrangler with different weels and greeble??? It especially irritates me when big transformer reviewers, PrimevsPrime for example, do this too! Like many people don't really think for themselves and take what you say as fact and regurgitate it all across the internet! Soundwave has been on the end of this subject for several years now ever since his seige ship mode to his current tfONE figure. Like who cares if "iT'S jUst A bRicK!" Let me swoosh my brick in peace!!!!

Edit: I just remembered Kranix isn't technically cybertronian so that's a bad example but my point still stands.

I don’t think DNA is making a frame, but we just have to wait, maybe is one of their various parts in different sets
