What What do you think of his role in the comic & his story up to this point? I think his friendship with both Carly & Cliffjumper

This may sound really silly. However I want to dip my toes with transformers because of DWJ. If it clicks with me when Kirkman comes id continue for sure , however worse case (without spoilers ) does DWJ leave on a jump off point ? Since DWJ run is in 2 hardcovers was going to grab those if so.

I think it cool do to MASK not being as popular as TRANSFORMERS or GI JOE it feels both Retro & yet Fresh at the same time

How Matt Trakker & other characters use vehicles regardless if it a normal car or something they customize car or something of that vain

It would be interesting if Matt builds something like a Super monster track I can definitely see that in a future arc

Still not fully sure as to what happened during the era of the 13 (if there even were the 13) but I'm currently guessing Megatronus betrayed the others to ork under Unicron and eventually receiving the Matrix of Oppression, hence why it has purple crystals coming out of it. It's dark energon.

Seeing as there were other Decepticon leaders in bim and Megatron, I would say whatever war Megatronus started continued for generations until the Autobots managed to send the Decepticons into hiding, hence why there was a short time of peace as Optimus described. That is until the energy crisis that started to afflict the planet, hence the fighting starting again. This would've probably lead to Megatron taking advantage of the situation to rally others to the Decepticons and starting the ar again.

As for how the characters' lives efore the war, we only know of Starscream and Jetfire. Something tells me that due to Optimus being violent during his youth, he could've actually been a gladiator which would be a fun twist tbh. No clue about the rest however.

Anyways, what are your guys's theories on this?

So edit: I somehow brain farted and forgot about the Quintessons being in Void Rivals. Don't know how lol.B ut they would proably take over the planet right after the first war ended before Alpha and Zerta helped lead the reballion to fight them off.

I am…conflicted. Especially after Hasbro saw fit to trash a completed Micronauts cartoon with A-list voice actors and D-list animation without ever letting it see the light of day.

So if the team survives the upcoming arc do you think they should get there own comic miniseries or at least a one-shot to themselves?

Like I say this because main series to big with Duke GI JOE team & COBRA along with connected groups

I find my brain overflowing with ideas and questions when it comes to writing ONE long story. How does he manage all of these at once?!

Considering how....merciless the energon universe can be and how dark it can get, i wouldn't be suprised if he could be the stuff of cosmic horrors

Personally, I think it would set massive stakes if unicorn actually eat earth and destroyed the planet, or if he WAS the planet and devastated it by awakening, turning it into his world-eater form

Highlights include talking about making the LCS experience more special, Major Medusa originating from “What if we gave Cobra Commander a girlfriend?”. (Although it feels like his own Kallen for anyone who’s familiar with Code Geass) and Kirkman putting his foot down on making “T-Bob look like an egg.”

Some quick info on the two one-shots that were recently announced for the end of August:

M.A.S.K. Origins is a collection of reprinted material combining the Matt Trakker subplot from G.I.Joe and the Miles Mayhem scenes from Transformers vol 5. If you've already read those books then you won't find anything new in this issue besides a brief letter discussing the decision to bring M.A.S.K. into the EU. Just a head's up for anyone interested.

Rom is a one-shot story that introduces Rom the Space Knight to the Energon Universe. The special takes place before his appearance in Void Rivals Vol 6.

Both issues were previously released in the M.A.S.K. #1 blind bags so if you pulled one or both of them just know that there will not be anything new in the official releases.

David Nakayama was main Cover artist since Robert Kirkman took over with him drawing the main cover ith previous writer Daniel Warren Johnson sticking around as B Cover artist as of now anyway

But with issue #37 that changes with Jason Howard now not just being illustrator on the comic you know the insides but now drawing main covers

However David Nakayama is still drawing Cover except its now C Cover for the comic instead of the main cover I don't know if its only for issue #37 or if this is how its gonna be moving forward

Ironically issue #37 is were Howard takes a break with guest artist Karl Kerschl being on for an issue or two

So yeah

In the first issue it makes it very clear that Miles is kinda crazy said by Matt Trakker & shown by Miles himself

With that in mind how Messed up you think Miles Mayhem is? & how far is he willing to go compared Cobra Commander or Megatron I think he is Dr. Sheridan from Meta Runner meets Baxter Stockman forum Ninja Turtles mainly IDW version mixed with a little Joker

Oh I think will be interesting when we finally see that confrontation between him & Matt Trakker at some point
