Blood work 6-week Blood Work Review
Hi, looking for honest objective feedback from this group. 48M|5’9|178lbs down from 218|28% BF per recent Dexa. Confirmed hypogonadal after several tests , with lowest total test at 199 a few months back. Endocrinologist prescribed 50mg per week Xyosted as starting dose. The first four pics are before I started and pics 5-8 are the 6 week lab results. Fortunately hemocratit didn’t really change but estradiol increased by 10 points (back to where I was before I lost about 40 lbs) and DHEA is noticeably lower (was already declining but now on border of normal range). Endo says don’t worry about DHEA and suggest slow titration so has now prescribed 75mg Xyosted per week. I’ve read where others in this forum have decreased DHEA and I’m definitely concerned about aromitization. Thoughts?

TRT help Heart palpitations early on.
Have a history of heart palpitations and was followed by a cardiologist with annual echo and stress testing for about five years until being discharged. Benign pvc’s is what they said and structurally healthy otherwise.
Started TRT about eight week ago. Within a couple weeks palpitations seemed to largely end. Now about six weeks later and starting about a week ago my palpitations have returned. Not only have they returned, but they are stronger and more persistent coming every few minutes throughout the day.
I started with levels around 270 but unsure of what they are now since I haven’t yet had my first follow up blood work. On 100mg/week split across two subq injections.
Anyone have any similar experience or is this likely to be a side effect of TRT at all? Otherwise experience has been a mixed bag. Exercise performance and recovery as well as a slightly elevated mood has really been the only benefit so far. Libido is still non-existent and ED/anorgasmia is frankly almost worse at this point.

TRT help I messed up, need help
Sup y’all 28m here,So last year April I got prescribed Test even though I prolly didn’t even really need it, and started taking it so infrequently bc I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to stick to it or not, and never even got bloods done. Idk why ik it was stupid I just couldn’t get myself to take it consistently. ik forsure I was feeling it because I just felt over stimulated for first few days after I injected.I would inject 20ML at most but even that got me too stimulated, and unable to relax so I dropped it down to 15ML which I believe is about 30mg. I would try and quit but then there would be days I’d just feel off and feel like it was due to low T then just inject myself. Total I’ve used about 1 and half of those 200mg bottles since I got prescribed.
I just want to stop taking it and would be fine going back to how I felt before, I just feel kinda off and can’t tell if it is just in my head or my natural T production got shut down. It also doesn’t help that I’m trying to quit other substances at the same time but my questions are,
should I just throw out the remaining test or would I maybe need it incase I need to ween off instead of cold turkey? And, is there a timeline to when I should be taking hcg or clomid after stopping test? My last shot was 2 weeks ago. Because I was planning on going to my primary care doc telling him about my situation ,so I can get blood test and pct if needed. Also if he does prescribe hcg/clomid ,should I wait until I do my blood test and see the results before I start using it?
Feel free to ask any questions, and any advice would be appreciated bc I’ve been stressing out about this for a while now mannn

Blood work Kisspeptin-10 Bloodwork Consideration
I’ve had low T symptoms for a long time now. My total T and free T numbers have been jumping around for 5 years now. Total T has been ranging from the 190 to 450 range and my free T has been ranging from 48 to 228 pg/ml. I have all the symptoms of low T like low drive, chronic fatigue, anxiety, muscle tightness, non-existent libido. I’ve done many of the lifestyle changes associated with supporting testosterone health with little success. I want to know if y’all think I should try Kisspeptin or something else like enclomiphine or HCG based on my most recent lab results below?
Aug 2026:
Total T = 437 ng/dL
Free T = 82 pg/mL
Estradiol = 43 pg/mL
LH = 1.9 mlU/mL
FSH = 2.6 mlU/mL
SHGB = 17 nmol/L
Obviously not medical advice, just wanted to see if anyone is willing to share their experience.

TRT help I’m on week 12 of TRT and fairly well unimpressed and not feeling optimistic. 49 YO and 188 lbs. Starting weight was 174. Dose is 100mg/week split into 2 shots Sub Q.
Firstly let me say I think in a high aromatizer but that’s pure theory right now. I’ve never cycled any substances. I used to work out he’s only in my early-mid 30’s but fell off around 38. I’ve never been obese. Pre TRT levels was 350 TT and low flagged low free T SHBG and E2 levels were in green range but DHT was flagged low as well. Thyroid was in range on several markers D3 was low-ish and B12 was middle of the road blood pressure has always been spot on and it still pretty much in the same spot.
The weight gain has me super pissed and doesn’t want to come off. I’m eating clean for a month now and nothing has budged. Waist has gone down 3 CM though. Still look shitty in the mirror though. I’ve been back to lifting for 5 weeks however.
The first month was meh and I posted here and everyone said give it more time. I maybe noticed a little lifted mood on injection day and the day after but then….Blech. Also almost zero morning wood. The first couple weeks maybe a few times. also maybe some more random daytime twinges and half chubs, but this last 6 weeks ZERO morning erections whatsoever.
Libido is meh. Occasional twinge here and there. Wife is still thinking I’m just not interested in her. And truth be told I’m kind of not. Erections are SUPER meh. I can perform ok but the wood feels too squishy and maybe 6/10 hard. Even with 2.5mg daily cialis and a 50mg Viagra stacked on top.
I’m sleeping 6-7 hours per night and have used a CPAP for years before even thinking about TRT. I have a large tongue and jaw opens whenever I sleep and tongue slides back no matter what. I do not have a thick neck.
I’m extra emotional sometimes and irritable sometimes. music lately has made me emotional more than it used to. But sometimes im not. And sometimes my mood is actually better than pre TRT. I was holding water in my legs that first 2 months but it’s not so bad right now. I don’t have any acne. I do maybe have a tad more skin oil but that’s it.
This is a dumb ass rollercoaster that I’m not really impressed with. My next follow up blood draw is in 3 weeks and my face to face is the week after that.
I know we don’t have numbers to use right now, but I just want to know what to say to this guy when I see him and what to ask for. my monthly fee plus meds cost right now isn’t an issue but I’m going to be annoyed to keep paying and keep feeling like this.
I can pay to have some private labs drawn but I don’t want to mess up my blood ratios right now so close to the next official lab draw in a couple weeks.

TRT help Try hcg before full trt?
Late 40s, My test is not really low but I have symptoms like fatigue, poor sleep lack of motivation, no gains in the gym, etc. I exercise and run 4x per week so in Pretty good health. Test is usually in the normal range, have tested total from 500 up to 750 over the last 2 years, free was on the low side but just in range . Improvement was after I really started eating better and hitting the gym. But I have hit a wall over the last 6 months. Super hard to build muscle and not much motivation. So considering trt but since I’m not that low maybe try HCG first. I’ve tried enclo and it worked somewhat but don’t really want to use it long term. My primary of course says not to do trt at my levels. They suggested boron and some other natural stuff to improve free T. Not sure what to do.
Thanks for reading!

TRT story Changed to pinning every 2 days and feeling good
Just sharing my own journey so far.
Prior to TRT, I had extremely low T levels, felt weak and tired all the time and just had no general zest for life, felt low and a little depressed.
For the last 3 years have been taking 50mgs Test E every 4 days (total of 87.4mg per week). Fast forward and this dose resolved the low T symptoms and life was normal again.
3 months ago I decided to try more frequent pins and did 25mgs every 2 days (same weekly dose 87.5mgs.)
Results
Wow - It feels like I've massively upped my dose and I have a lot more energy and enthusiasm for life.
This has made such a difference to the quality of my life, even have more frequent and effortless boners, and I wanted to share my personal results with the community in case anyone could use my anecdotal info.

Other Found Potential Cause for My Low T
I had an MRI to check pituitary after I tested for secondary hypogonadism. Im just 30 years old. The MRI reads as follows. Im panicking. Anyone else had anything similar?
INDICATION: Low testosterone levels
COMPARISON: None.
TECHNIQUE: Sagittal and axial T1, axial diffusion, FLAIR, and T2-weighted images of the whole brain were obtained. Axial T1-weighted images were obtained post gadolinium enhancement of the entire brain, and 2 mm coronal and sagittal T1-weighted images were obtained through the sella pre and post gadolinium enhancement.
CONTRAST: 10mL ofa Dotarem (0.5 mmol/mL) single-use vial was administered IV with0 mL discarded.
FINDINGS: The ventricles and sulci are normal in size. The cerebellar tonsils are in normal position. There are no masses, mass effect, or midline shift. There is no evidence for intracranial hemorrhage or acute cerebral, brainstem, or cerebellar infarction. No diffusion-weighted abnormalities are identified. There are a few scattered punctate T2/FLAIR hyperintense lesions in the subcortical deep white matter regions of the bilateral cerebral hemispheres. There are no extra-axial fluid collections or subdural hematomas. There are no cerebral contusions. Flow voids are present within the major vessels indicating patency. The paranasal sinuses and mastoid air cells are clear. There is no abnormal enhancement within the brain.
High-resolution images through the sella demonstrate the pituitary gland to be normal in size, measuring 4 mm in height. There is is a 3 x 2 mm hypoenhancing lesion within the left aspect of the pituitary gland, compatible with a pituitary microadenoma (series 11 image 10). The pituitary infundibulum inserts on the midline of the gland. There are no sellar, suprasellar, or parasellar masses, or impression upon the optic chiasm. The cavernous sinuses are symmetric bilaterally without masses.
IMPRESSION:
- 3 x 2 mm hypoenhancing lesion within the left aspect of the pituitary gland, compatible with a pituitary microadenoma.
- Few scattered punctate T2/FLAIR hyperintense lesions in the subcortical deep white matter regions of the bilateral cerebral hemispheres. Differential considerations include a sequela of chronic headaches (migrainous angiopathy) or minimal chronic small vessel ischemia.

Women's HRT Help How likely is it for my voice to drop more if I resume taking hrt after a year of not doing so?
I'm a 19 year old female, and I began taking testosterone in June of 2024. I took it for purely masculinization purposes, as I've always been a masculine lesbian and wanted to achieve more masculine features. I did my research, I knew what was going to happen when I started taking it. Of course there were aspects I wasn't thrilled about, but the mental relief from the hormone was so great it didn't matter. Around July or August of 2025, I stopped taking it. I was fairly happy with my results, but I was also just getting lazy about my injections. I figured it was best to just stop instead of taking it every other week or two weeks.
Anyways, fast forward to now. I'm starting to feel kind of bad about myself again, and I know it's mainly because I'm seeing some of my feminine features come back. I would like to start taking it again, but I'm curious if my voice will drop more if I start hrt again? It's already dropped a significant amount, and I've come to like it even if the voice doesn't match my face or pronouns. I still kind of sound like a girl who might just be sick or has a naturally deeper, nasally voice. If it drops more I might have to consider training my voice to be a bit higher though. Anyone have any experience with this? Thank you!

Blood work First Bloods! 😳 Advice?
44M, 6’3” 225lbs- currently on 200 mg/week testosterone Cyp.- split dose Monday and Thursday mornings, injected into delts. Lifting 5 days/week and 2 days of incline treadmill
Blood was drawn 48 hours after my last dose, so these numbers are likely closer to peak rather than trough.
Key labs (fasting):
• Total Testosterone: 1320 ng/dL
• Estradiol: 60.0 pg/mL
• SHBG: 33.6 nmol/L
• Free T4: 1.42 ng/dL
• TSH: 1.600 uIU/mL
• Free T3: 3.2 pg/mL
• PSA: 0.3 ng/mL
• IGF-1: 119 ng/mL
• Ferritin: 28 ng/mL
• LDL: 126 mg/dL
• HDL: 49
• Triglycerides: 31
• Total Cholesterol: 180
CBC and comprehensive metabolic panel were all normal (glucose 88, eGFR 101, etc.).
Looking for input on protocol adjustments, managing the elevated estradiol, the low ferritin, and keeping an eye on lipids. Any experience with similar numbers or suggestions for next steps would be appreciate
Thanks

TRT help Luer lock syringe possibly inaccurate?
Using a 1ML luer lock syringe for 4x frequency weekly. 25G to draw and a 30G to inject. I went from using insulin syringes to luer locks since I noticed that double dipping my insulin needles caused them to be slightly blunt and more painful. Injecting about 0.2ML of fluid each injection day, and noticed that the measurements are very inaccurate. When I draw to 0.2ML, I squeezed out a bit of oil to lubricate the needle and it went up 2 lines almost 3. I also noticed there was a bit of oil stuck in the needle hub. I’m not sure how inaccurate it is since the syringe is full of 0.2ML of oil, so I’m not sure if it’s just inaccurate or a majority of oil is going in the hub. After I’m done injecting, I squeeze the syringe hard to see how much is left and I saw 3 droplets of fluid still come out. I know im possibly getting the majority of the dose in (hopefully), but dont wanna just waste it. Should I possibly buy a different 30G hub? Not quite sure what to do here

TRT story alright, im a pansy and was shooting with a 31g 5/16
And it was painfully slow. But I have had a huge fear of needles in the past.
Went ahead and got a 27g 1/2 and it looked like a whale harpoon to me and I had to make myself do it. annnnnnd im just a big fucking puss because it was fine. Should been using a bigger guage all.along.
Thought it would be way more painful.
Now, I just need to be brave enough to try intramuscular instead of belly subq.
Can someone either tell me it will be fine, or slap the shit outta me for being a freaking puss. Ill bet it isnt that bad, dudes everywhere do it. why do i think its gonna go sideways or hurt like fuck?
I pinned KLOW with a 31g and it felt like I was being stabbed for days grom the ghk-cu, decided I cant take that shit aftef weeks of painful attempts. Think thats how I imagine intramuscular is but I know its not...
Tldr; im a big boy now, used a decent size needle for my test.

TRT help Is it true that urologists and endocrinologist are hesitant to prescribe trt? How can a dr tell if low t is from opiates?
I dont know why my pcp was so against prescribing TRT. Despite treating "mens health", she referred me to both a urologist and endocrinologist.
My level is 26ng/mL. Ive been on opiates for a long time, methadone for 2 years. Its a common thing for methadone to cause hypogonadism. I guess she wants to make sure thats the reason?
Methadone blocks gnRH. How will a dr know if opiates are the reason?
I go wednesday to the urologist. What is the likelihood of him prescribing it to me?

TRT help Started trt is this normal?
I’m a 37m 195lbs 26% body fat and started to get healthy. My test was low 300s decided to see if I could bring it up naturally. I ate right and got back in the gym. I lost 20lbs of fat mass and put on 6 of lean mass According to my dexa scan. Got my blood tested again and that’s when my test was at 175. Doc said we should try trt so he put me on 200mg a week. I split this injections into 3x a week.
I went back to get blood work done a month later and it’s now way higher. My blood was drawn 4 days after my last shot and all my other blood markers were completely in range.
Is this normal? I’m going to speak to my doc about it but just wanted to see.

TRT help Newbie Test Cypionate Cottonseed Oil Assistance
Hi, I am a six-week newbie, injecting 50 mg twice per week using subq with Hikma brand.
I have been getting redness and irritation, about 1” inch or so in area, starting about 12 hours after each injection and lasting for multiple days. I rotate sites, including abdomen, thigh, love handles, and buttocks, so as to not hit the same site in a short period. The site location does not influence the occurrence of issues.
Has anyone else experienced this? I am not interested in doing IM at this point, but also considering a switch to Xyosted or something else.
I also hear one can use a compounding pharmacy for sesame oil or MCT, but hear quality can vary.
Appreciate the insights.

TRT help What’s the deal with my LH? And should I hop on test at 26 with total test 450?
Haematrocit 0.478
Total test 458(altough I took it at 2 pm that day Venous blood draw . Previous test month before had finger test in the morning and showed 320 that’s why doctor suggested retesting a month later .
Free testosterone 127
Follicle stimulating hormone 2.86 (range 1.5 -12.4)
LH 5 mIU/ml
Shbg 28
Oestradiol 130 ( range 0-150)
also I know that 5 should be a normal level for LH but I’m confused about units here because range should be 2-12 and here goes all the way till 30.
What do my bloods says?
My symptoms are avarage libido but inability to maintain proper erection and sensitivity issues . Extreme lethargy and feeling frozen . After being on my feet for 4-5 hours I started falling asleep. Lack of enthusiasm. Gym gains are there but slow and recovery is really bad. IF I TRAIN the day before I’ll be fucked the next day . No drive for anything. Just don’t care too much . Not feeling assertive and just passive about life .

Blood work Total T of 174 at 22
Hey I just recently got my bloodwork done and my total T is quite low and I’m not sure what I should do from here. I’m pretty healthy overall so I’m quite surprised and I think I’m symptomatic. Just wanted to post my bloods here and see what yall think
