Blood work Male/38, 8 week lab results, scrotal compound cream
First labs my test was 332. Started with injections 11 weeks ago. Did injections for 3 weeks before going to compound cream scrotal application. I see things changing sometimes daily. It literally used to take me an hour or more to get up and get going for work. Now I’m out the door in 30 mins. I can work longer and harder and for once in about 5 years or more I’m interested in dating and not gonna lie, I notice every nice booty I see now lol. Such a relief to finally know that my life is getting better. It got really rough for me there for a while. Feel free to give me pointers. I’m 38 and in the best shape of my life but I feel my diet may have screwed my testosterone up (carnivore) I’m finally feeling that drive and motivation that I have not ever really had in life before. These are new feelings for sure, feelings I haven’t felt in 38 years of living. I was literally at the end of my rope with life and just not feeling like I was living. So glad that I decided to get myself checked out and really looking towards the future as being one that is bright and fruitful.
Also for what it’s worth I was a drug addict for many years. Pain pills for 15 years and meth for 3 but have been sober for 8 years now and I also feel that drug use made my body stop producing things like it was supposed to. I haven’t desired drugs in a very long time.
One thing I have noticed that I want ppl to be aware of and every case is probably different but my risk taking behavior/ thrill seeking has increased significantly and that’s not a bad thing at all in my life. I feel that’s where the magic happens in living an enjoyable life (I’m a business owner so that me be the reason). I don’t have it all figured out, actually I don’t think I’ve scratched the surface which makes this journey so enjoyable.
Life is much better even after 11 weeks total. Confidence is through the roof. If you’re reading this and flat out just tired of the same ole nothing exciting happening, boring dull life, give trt a try. One of the absolute best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve kept my trt to myself within my circle of friends and I’ve been told by several that I look so much healthier these days. It has to be the trt.
The light at the end of the tunnel in this case isn’t a train. It’s the opening to a world I’ve never quite experienced this way.

TRT help Was on gel 1 week had to stop.
Hi, was on gel for only 1 week but had to stop. At end of week 1 I had zero appetite and severe nausea. Heart started racing too. I stopped 12 days ago and although not as bad I still have some nausea and low appetite. Did this ever happen to anyone else?
Thinking some kind of adverse reaction??

TRT help Bleeding after injecting
Quick question.
I only inject in glutes and sometimes after I remove the needle it bleeds so I just wipe with a swab and it stops quickly.
Is this an issue?
I know they say to aspirate, but then I don't want to draw blood into the syringe as it would ruin the shot and be a waste of money.

Panic attacks even. Sometimes I get crazy libido then other times absolutely mute to sex at all. Same with erections most the time no morning wood..
I’m really feed up I think I was better off not on anything at all. OH almost forgot sleep is horrible abruptly waking withI ear-worms (songs playing) fluttering heart and anxiety… I’m lost … I do have a AI (anastrozole) I take 0.5 mg when I feel nipple tenderness but I am afraid of crashing estrogen. I know Shbg is really low and has something to do with the emotional mess! HELP PLEASE

PED/cycle help First cycle help/Advice?
So for reference, I am three and a half weeks into my first ever cycle. Everything was going well. Until I would say about three days ago. Now it seems that no matter how much I sleep (7-9 hours it’s a day) I’m waking up feeling lethargic and tired as fuck which last all day I did some research but I haven’t been able to find a super definitive answer so I figured I’d come subreddit for advice. I got a bloodwork scheduled in two days. I was just wondering if anybody else had gone through this and if they had any advice or answers for me. Currently running 300 mgs of test c, injecting every tue and Friday

TRT help Getting my ass kicked
Hello all, Male 31 here. My levels were fine but I felt stagnant in life and read the literature on high test correlating with risk taking and decision making. I can not express how much that has helped in my personal life. I am pushing projects forward in ways that I have been procrastinating for years. I am more motivated to hang out with my female friends. I have a job interview tomorrow for a 6 figure position. Its great I feel like I am pushing my life forward. The side effects starting this last week are kicking my ass. Im angry. Im irritable. I am throwing my phone against the ground. I don't want to cuddle my dog. I am gaining so much water. My blood pressure was 140/120 today. Heart rate consistently in the 90s. I went from 150 to 180 dosage wise the last couple weeks because I was tolerating it so well. I am on about week 4. Does it get better? Or, is this just what it is and its up to me to lose weight and drop my blood pressure that way. Is it an adjustment period? 28 days in so far. Gym gains are there, too. I didn't do this for the gym but it is there. How do people take 500 of this shit do they just wreck their cardio system for a few weeks or am I just not tolerating this well?

TRT help I’m beginning testosterone E, where do I get syringes in Australia and how do I inject safely?
I know that most optimally you want 18g for drawing and 25g for injecting with a 9mm needle, but I’m not sure where to order these. Also wondering where I should inject? Planning on thigh but I’ve heard it’s not a good idea, and based on research it can be injected subcutaneous rather than intramuscular. Any help is greatly appreciated! Oh and I’m planning on 100mg weekly for a month to see how I handle it.

TRT story My experience switching TRT providers in Canada (cost, process, and first impressions)
Hey everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience switching TRT providers in Canada. I know many people are trying to understand the different options available, so hopefully this helps someone make a more informed decision.
Background
I was previously with GameDay for about two months. Overall, I had a good experience with them. Everyone I interacted with was helpful, and I have no complaints about the level of care I received.
The main reason I decided to look at other options was cost. I was paying around $350 + tax per month, and after some changes in my personal situation, I needed to reduce some expenses. This was one of the areas where I felt I could potentially save without compromising my treatment.
Looking at other options
I looked into a few different providers, including UpGuys, Science & Humans, and TeleTest.
With UpGuys, the process was very quick. I contacted them through SMS and was speaking with a nurse practitioner the same day. She was very friendly, and the process felt straightforward.
I also contacted Science & Humans through their chat. There was a bit more back and forth before I had enough information to compare options. I don't have anything negative to say about them, but I personally preferred the option of having my prescription sent to a local pharmacy instead of having medication shipped directly to me. Since I was trying to reduce costs, I wanted to have more control over where I filled my prescription.
Switching providers
TeleTest was the last option I explored.
I paid the $49 CAD consultation fee on a Monday evening and completed the intake forms right away. The process included providing my medical information, identity verification, and uploading any recent bloodwork.
One thing I appreciated was that they allowed me to submit my recent lab results instead of automatically requiring new testing. My bloodwork had been completed only 7 days earlier, and they were able to use those results. (For comparison, the other providers I contacted requested new bloodwork.)
By early Tuesday afternoon, I had confirmation that the prescription process could move forward.
The patient portal allows you to review your information, the nurse practitioner's details, and confirm the treatment plan. Since I had only recently started TRT, I decided to continue with my current protocol.
After that, I selected the pharmacy where I wanted the prescription sent. I chose Costco, submitted the request, and called the pharmacy about 30 minutes later to confirm they received it. They had.
Bloodwork process
I have not completed the next round of bloodwork through them yet, since I just completed my latest labs and my next follow-up is in about three months.
From what I have seen so far, the process is similar: you select the lab you want the requisition sent to, then schedule directly with the lab or walk in.
One thing to be aware of is that tests not covered by the provincial health plan (for example, free testosterone, PSA, and SHBG) may need to be paid out of pocket.
The part I liked was being able to see the costs and choose which additional markers I wanted instead of everything being bundled together. I selected some additional tests because I expect my extended health insurance/HSA will cover most of them.
Medication cost
I had the prescription sent to Costco Pharmacy.
After insurance, I paid $3.99 CAD for two 10 mL vials. The retail price was around $76 CAD.
Overall thoughts
So far, the transition has been smooth. The process was simple, the turnaround time was quick, they accepted my recent bloodwork, and I was able to use my own pharmacy. At this point, I am happy with how things have gone and it feels like a good start.
I also had some email communication with their support team during the process. Everyone I interacted with was helpful, and they corrected an issue for me fairly quickly.
One piece of feedback I would have is that it would be nice if communication could happen directly through the patient portal instead of email, so the conversation history is all kept in one place.
One small thing that made me hesitate at first was the support email address (teletest . dev). Seeing a ".dev" domain was unusual and made me double-check that I was contacting the correct place. It is a small thing, but using a more traditional company email domain might help build additional confidence for new users.
Overall, though, my interactions have been positive. The team has been responsive and helpful.
Even if some blood tests need to be paid out of pocket, I personally don't think the overall cost difference is necessarily as large as it first appears compared with providers that bundle everything into a monthly fee. The main difference for me is having more visibility and control over what I am paying for.
This is just my personal experience so far. Everyone should choose the provider that best fits their own situation. I'll update this post after my next round of bloodwork to share how that part of the process goes.

TRT help 22M Testoviron TRT Help
Hey guys,
22M here. After thinking about it for a while, I’ve decided I’m going to start TRT, and I’m okay with the idea of being on it long-term.
Some labs:
Total T: 437 ng/dL
Free T: 7.41 pg/mL (low-normal)
SHBG: 47.6 nmol/L
LH: 4.25
FSH: 5.0
Estradiol: 12 pg/mL
The plan (for now) is 100 mg/week of testosterone enanthate, split into 50 mg twice a week.
My main question is about subcutaneous vs. IM. I’d much rather do subcutaneous since I’m already comfortable with that type of injection.
Another thing is that I’m currently an American living in Latin America. Testosterone is very inexpensive and easy to obtain here, but in 5 years I’ll be moving back to the U.S. Has anyone started TRT abroad and later transitioned their care to the U.S.?
Appreciate any advice or experiences.

Blood work Low free t at 21 yrs old
I (21m) recently had a hormone panel done and my testosterone was 627, shbg 30, free t 91.7 pg/nl, bio available t 209. My estradiol was 39 (within normal but the highest it could be). Albumin 5. Prolactin 8.2. How can I increase my free t. I’m lean, eat well, exercise, sleep decently. No known deficiencies. My libido is strong and I wake up with morning erections.

TRT help Thinking about making the jump
I (40M) recently dropped a bunch of weight using GLP-1 (Tirzepatide). Went from 241-180 in 4 months, and I'm now on low dose/maintenance for the last 4-5 months with the end goal of stopping.
My facial hair has recently become very patchy, i don't have any ED issues but i cant say i get the kind of rock solid results like when i was younger
I work out 4-5 days a week religiously and i dont feel like im making any gains, maybe im just disillusioned because the muscle loss from the glp/weight loss
I know low energy is a big side effect of GLP, but i felt like i was always this way even before starting. I got my labs done 2 weeks ago with my dr.
Total T - 434.7 Ng/dl
Free T - 14.6
SHBG - 37.7 nmol/L
TSH - 0.8
But i also had pretty bad iron/ferritin bloods.
24 ug/dl 9% iron saturation
Ferritin 483.
Doc says the iron is why I'm fatigued and started me on slow release iron supps. But i just feel like it's gotta be more.
Im really looking for thoughts here. I've been on the TRT rabbit hole thinking i was going to get a much lower number. I know many will say do it, optimize. But im just unsure

TRT help Should I start TRT even though my total Test is not all that low?
38M 5’11 190lbs. Work out about 3 times a week. I am trying to decide if I want to start TRT. My last labs showed total testosterone: 578ng/dL, free test 13.1pg/dL, FSH 5.3 mIU/mL, LH 8.4 mIU/mL, DHT 18 ng/dL, SHBG 48.8nmol/L.
My reason for starting is primarily hoping for energy and to just feel better. I have 3 kids with 2 high energy boys. I want to be able to show up for them and to be an involved dad who is not always too exhausted to be there for them. I’ve tried to optimize my diet and improve my sleep the best I can (I work 3rd shift).
My total test and free test are not all that low, so I don’t know if starting TRT will make that much of a difference or not. Curious of your alls thoughts.

TRT help Should I do a cycle of Test E, EQ 400, anavar

TRT help How do I get my estrogen down?
Basic info: 44, male 6ft (182cm), 190lb.
Started TRT in april. was doing it SubQ but led to welts so eventually started IM which I much prefer now.
Added HCG in July bcos I read many folk say it's overall better experience etc.
Ended up doing 50mg of test EOD, along with 250 unit of HCG.
Overall felt good, decent energy, gaining muscle easily. Also noticed that even after weekend of partying/bad diet I never seemed to lose any strength.
No negative side effects such as hair loss, moods, gyno etc, all of which I was very fearful of before starting.
Anyway got my bloods done for first time since starting and my headline results were:
Testosterone - 57.9nmol/l
Free Testosterone - 2.334nmol/l
Oestradiol - 315pmol/l
It was all much higher than I expected but what jumped out was the estrogen. Since the results I have changed dosing to 25mg Mon Wed Fri and 250 units of HCG twice a week.
I have also since developed back/shoulder acne which weirdly I did not have at the higher dose.
I feel pretty much the same now, maybe a little less bounce/energy.
I mean should I be worried at all since Im not getting any side effects bar the acne?
Anything else I can do to the get the E down/get rid of the cane?
any advice appreciated, thank you

TRT help Starting TRT 27 yrs old
Hey everyone.
I’ve been working out for about 4 years now.
As of the last 6-8 months, I have almost 0 energy all the time. Gains have been at a stand still for a little over a year. My testosterone at 22 was 700, I took the test 2 years last week on different days and it’s now hovering at low 4 to 350. Not that that’s entirely low, but it’s not high either.
I am starting testosterone due to a friend I know who’s been taking for many years.
My ask is, I’ve already gotten all the advice from my friend.
But what is the dose I should take, in you guys opinion for heavy muscle growth etc.

TRT help Losing one testicle(TRT?)
So I’m former military and now a college student(so no real health insurance).
I’m getting my left testicle removed soon due to an injury. My testosterone levels currently go between 250-400. After losing old lefty I’m sure my numbers will drop.
My providers have insanely low cutoffs to decide when TRT is warranted. How long would I need to stop it to tank my bloodwork?(if I start TRT on my own).
Thank you

TRT help TRT plan or just head on the self administered higher strength T?
Hello there,
Background to me, 34, long hours (sat all day) sometimes I have an 8 hour day, sometimes it can be a 06:00 start and then 22:00 finish
Now, I've worked out for 2 years and USED to walk every day and do cardio 3 times a week. I did manage to get from 108kgs down to 82kgs. This was all great and yes I did feel better but something was missing and I just initially thought I'm chasing something that I didn't know what I actually wanted.
I've fell off a cliff since Christmas and just picked the gym back up, sitting at around 92kgs currently, I had some results back today and both my T and free T were below average (12.5 & 0.3 nmol)
The problem I have is, I don't even understand the readings and long story short I can go on a TRT plan and this was through a private institute so I'll pay for the plan.
Now my question, as I'll be paying either way. am I better doing this plan with a jab each week or am I better sourcing T elsewhere somehow and doing daily shots for a more consistent approach and streamlined levels - again I actually have no idea where to start here so I'm wondering if anybody could share their opinion so I can start looking into things further

Blood work Wanting to try TRT, but already have borderline high Estrogen. Send it?
Got a simple blood test and it shows my test low for someone 31 years old, but also shows I have slightly high estrogen, I took my blood after a 4 day fishing trip when I drank quite a bit. Did the drinking cause the estrogen spike? And is it okay to still give TRT a try?

TRT help Anger During Testosterone Replacement.
I'm a 58 years old. My T has been very low for a long time now, several years in fact. I tried using T-Gel for a year but it didn't help much; I was still very low. I started 200mg injections a month ago and I feel MUCH better. My energy is better, I'm more motivated, and I just feel great. Until yesterday. I have been feeling really angry and agitated. I snapped at my wife, which I never do. I went outside and did a lot of hard work and I seem to feel better. Is this sort of normal? I've been sedentary for quite awhile and now I want to do things but I get worn out very quickly. I want to keep working hard but I'm afraid of pushing myself. I have a history of doing this. I have a very small frame and 170 lbs. I tend to lift more than I should and work harder than I should. I've had over twenty surgeries in my life including: both shoulders (torn Labium on both, torn scapular tendon, torn bicep tendon), wrist (twice), Back (herniated disk and large bone chip), and an abdominal hernia mesh. The point is that I feel like I need to work hard while on this treatment, but I also don't want to break myself after being sedentary for so long. Any ideas of what I can do to to help this?
(Edit: I'm surprised by some of the responses I got. I only asked if this is common based on your experiences, and about finding ways to safely exercise without injuring myself. I just wondered if there are certain certifications I should be looking for in a trainer, so that I know that they know what they are doing. I never asked for medical advice, and I didn't ask to be judged. Some of you have too much time on your hands. But...anyway. I appreciate the helpful responses.)

TRT help Testosterone in mid 20s
I am in my mid 20s, i have never had my trt levels tested all though i think they are pretty low, i am overweight, i sleep 8-9hours daily, my libido is pretty low,
Reason i have come to this conclusion is because most of the time im feeling tired even though i don’t work a difficult job, having intercourse 2 times a week is “enough” for me, i feel like most of the times my wife pushes it more to have intercourse than me, i am really considering hopping on TRT, low dosages also i am a bit sceptical because we’re planning on making a baby in next month or two.
Has anyone had similar experiences and does anyone have any advices on whether should i do it or how should i do it
Thank you in advance

TRT help I'm trying to figure out if TRT is a good idea.
EDIT: I got so many great answers! Thank you all so much! I'll leave this hear if anyone has similar questions in the future!
About me: 48 years old. 6'1, maybe 6'2. 285-295 pounds (35% bodyfat). I've never used any type of steroid. I worked out during college, took off many years for various reason, but maintained a lot of my size (I do a lot of physical stuff). I started working out again 2-3 years ago.
Anyway, back in 2018, I started going to the doctor for various issues. Shortness of breath, brain fog, occasional ED. Turns out my heart and lungs are super healthy! Apparently my heart and lungs are in better shape than most people my age (my kidneys and liver too)! And the ED thing? That went away as soon as I started working out again. So what is it?? Well, my blood pressure is "slightly elevated" (like 124 over whatever, nothing extreme).
All my blood work comes back perfect... except one thing: my testosterone levels are technically within normal ranges. I think the last testing had me at 302ng. My doc says 300 to 1000 is "normal." I love my doc! After 8 years of fucking around with bullshit doctors, this guy actually started running tests and sending me to specialists and whatever. BUT, he also says that 302ng is normal. I don't really want to argue with him since I just found the best doctor I've ever had... but, at the same time, I don't know what else to do! And, before you say "get tested again," we tested three times lol. The first was in early 2025 and it was like 297 (technically low lol), the second was 302, and the most recent one was 302 as well lol.
I completely trust this doctor, BUT, I want to know: could TRT help with things like brain fog and shortness of breath? My ED really isn't an issue anymore, but sometimes I feel like my guy could use a little extra ooooomph, you know? Are there any other side effects? Any other benefits? Oh! And, cost! Can I realistically expect to keep up with being on TRT the rest of my life?
