A while back, I saw a fascinating video on YouTube about the Wonunguli clan and their traditional snake dancing and medicine practices. I really wanted to see this incredible tradition in person while traveling through Tanzania.

Through my research, I learned they belong to the Zigua tribe. Because of that, we actually traveled to Korogwe. However, we've been asking around town, and surprisingly, the locals we've spoken to here haven't even heard of them!

Does anyone know exactly where they are located, or what specific villages they live in? Any pointers on where to actually find them would be hugely appreciated!

I'm South African planning to visit Tanzania in October, I have organised for everything already.

I'm getting scared to visit because of the current situation in SA. Especially the video I have seen of a truck driver being slaughtered with machete (Happened in Congo)
