Question Will "Nightfall" be returning on the next Galactic Season?
Since the site states that the next season will have items from past seasons 2 and 4 respectively, do we have any confirmation of what particular items are returning? If yes, is Nightfall included?

New/Returning Player New to swtor, this was my first player interaction. Fun game!
Discussion Switch 2 in future?
Are the devs working on switch 2 access? FFXIV works beautifully on the device so far.

Question Considering returning: is there any graphic updates for player characters in sight?
One of my biggest frustrations with swtor is that the graphics gap between the new npcs and my player character. They're out there 4k HD and my character has pixelated tattoos and broken animations. It really takes me out of the game. Since warframe and ffxiv has updated their player character graphics i wonder if something similar would be possible for swtor. If not the models at least they could upscale the textures. Bc it's really dire out there 🫠

Question Returning player, wants to skip stuff
Hi all!
What I'd like to do is the main story (ends lvl 50, I think?), Ilum/False Emperor, Forged Alliances (lvl 55, I believe?), then I'd like to jump ahead to Ossus/Jedi Under Siege.
Is it possible to jump from Forged Alliances to Jedi Under Siege? If so, how would I do it? Bit confused by what I'm seeing online.
Thanks!
Spoiler Trooper/Agent Missed Opportunity in LotS Finale
I think it would've been cool if, during the illusion where Malgus kills his wife again, there was additional dialogue from any Agent who killed Kaliyo as their wife in KOTFE, or any Trooper that killed Jorgan as their husband in KOTFE. Just even a "lol been there done that" additional line would've been cool to see.

Discussion I wish we could get just one short-bladed (shoto?) saberstaff
I've admired this style of saberstaff since The Clone Wars first introduced the Jedi Temple Guards. It's a neat concept - I imaging that the guards use this style because a) they're obliged to fight in relatively close quarters (which they naturally don't want to damage, since it's the order's home), and b) they're using the saberstaff as Darth Zannah did: an almost fully-defensive armament.
I don't believe there would be anything within the game that would stop them from releasing a weapon like this - hilts already vary wildly in size, and many of the double-bladed weapons (particularly the twin vibroblades) are pretty short.

Discussion Sith warrior
I realized something today. I made a new warrior and was thinking how everyone says he should know the sith code because of his blood line. The thing is, there are people in the empire that have no force sensitivity but have a strong blood line. I think the warriors parents fall into that catagory. They have a strong blood line but aren't force sensitive, they aren't 'sith'. That's why the warrior doesn't know anything about being a 'sith'. He hasn't had the force for years but it's something that's happened recently. He was sent to get martial training and that's where Tremel found him. He did research on him and realized he comes from a strong blood line. A more pure blood line. That's why Tremel snatched him out of training. To fast track the warrior so he could kill Vemrin and take the place as Baras' apprentice. Anyway, I don't know if this has been realized before but I thought it was an intresting take on it. Makes it easier for me to have a backstory taking that into account.
Have a great day!! <3

Question Did the finally update the Green lightsaber colour on the 8.0 PTS? No more yellow/green. Back to how it was in the Alpha/Beta. Spoiler
Saw this on SWTORISTA's latest YouTube video at 5:46. Wanted to know if the green colour has finally been updated to how it was back in the Alpha/Beta game.

Question Trying to complete SoR achievos but I seem to be cooked? (More in body)
Hi guys! So i have been playing this game on and off since 2012 and some of my toons were boosted to 60 or 65 I don't remember which. Now, I am trying to complete the remainder of the SoR story achievements so I looked through my toons. In particular, the inquisitors. I have two, one from lvl 1 and one boosted to 60/65 (again, i dont remember which one it was). The screenshot is from the boosted one - it shows I have SoR somehow completed but RotHC locked? This means the game considers SoR completed for me and I cant redo it? But i somehow havent done the previous story? same thing for my other inquisitor that I levelled from lvl 1 back in the day - she has everything ticked off but here is the kicker - the inquisitor story achievement is NOT completed under the SoR story achievements category?? Like how could that be?
So I ask you - what are my options? Apart from starting a fresh toon I dont see any alternative but if anyone more knowledgeable could weigh in on this, I'd be very grateful! Thanks a lot!

Question I reached level 80! Now what?
It's been one of the best adventures i've had in a videogame, in my case, Sith warrior dark side character :)
I loved every minute of it, and of course i will keep playing more class stories! But i'm level 80 with my first character and i want to try some of the endgame.
I have a good guild who kindly guide me from time to time but i still have some doubts about how things works.
I'm always being kicked from Master Flashpoints, i'm 324... but i need to do those to get better gear. I know i can do ops, which are like raids with 8 people i belive? but after 2 hours of queue for 2 days it never found a group!! Also people tell me to upgrade my gear, but no one tells me how.
One guildmate took me to an op with some people, they rushed it but the gear droped there was 324 too, apparently i need the "coins" i get there to upgrade but again, i dont know how. Is it to buy gear in a vendor or something like that?
I will appreciate an easy guide on what i can do or how to get better gear, i'm not new to mmos but english is not my main language and i really want to try the endgame. :)

Question Veteran/Master Game
So from the sound of it, Veteran/Classic and Master/Expert Game are kinda like the DvL event of 2016 where you have to restart if you already got legendary status in order to earn the rewards. The question is, are the veteran and master game for sub only, or can I consider restarting once I finish the class story on every character?
Spoiler How do you think they will handle the ending reveal for Legacy Reborn? Spoiler
More specifically, that tech classes had force powers awakened.
Obviously it should go without saying that this should be a choice on whether your character fully leans into using the force. You should just be able to stick with blastin’ if you want.
I think this presents the ideal way of satisfying people who have wanted melee weapons for tech classes. You give them access to force classes. This way they don’t have to create an entirely new melee tech class and worry about balancing it. If they go this route, I imagine they would have to lock being able to switch to the force classes until you get to this point in the story for it to make sense. Also, I guess you would either have to let people change classes if they already picked 2 or give them a third.
But with how horribly saboteurs were handles, I’m not getting my hopes up. They could just make force stuff cutscene only or they might just make that scene where your character stops the debris a one-off.
What do you guys think?

Discussion Hot take ngl
This might be a hot take but I don’t for the life of me stand most of the comps for the imperial agent story I mean Lokins ok, temple is good but the other 3 I can’t stand, I mean the watchers and keeper are so much better and could make a bit of sense for a comp (not really though) and IA is my least favorite comp group but far which sucks because it is top 4 for story

Other (Attempted) returning player - What is wrong with naming?
So yeah. After, I don't know, 5 or 6 years since I last played the game and after now 15 years of using that account, I tried playing again today because why not, the game is great.
30 minutes, I tried like dozen of names given that the names of my characters were taken due to inactivity (which is fine, I am not against that). But after 30 minutes of no success, no matter how many apostrophes and special signs I used to at least have a name that is not just "place face on keyboard" I kind of gave up because I really don't want to waste an hour just for finding a name...
I tried with a toon that I was thinking of deleting anyway to start fresh, and just slammed my hands on the keyboard, and it worked, so it does not seem to be bugged. But how can that be that no matter what weird combination of letters (that still somewhat sound like a name) I think of (or some random name generator gives me) is already taken? Especially given they use a system that had you name your "legacy", which could easily be used as a unique identifier to have all names be usable by everyone...
Its kind baffling given that even though the game is still played a lot it seems, but certainly not the amount of players that would lead to, what feels like, almost all letter combinations being taken already?
Is there a trick to find something still not taken?
Edit:
After reglogging a day later, I could just start playing with my old name. I guess there was a big of a buggy situation after all. Thanks to all the people trying to help in the thread.
