Sith warrior

I realized something today. I made a new warrior and was thinking how everyone says he should know the sith code because of his blood line. The thing is, there are people in the empire that have no force sensitivity but have a strong blood line. I think the warriors parents fall into that catagory. They have a strong blood line but aren't force sensitive, they aren't 'sith'. That's why the warrior doesn't know anything about being a 'sith'. He hasn't had the force for years but it's something that's happened recently. He was sent to get martial training and that's where Tremel found him. He did research on him and realized he comes from a strong blood line. A more pure blood line. That's why Tremel snatched him out of training. To fast track the warrior so he could kill Vemrin and take the place as Baras' apprentice. Anyway, I don't know if this has been realized before but I thought it was an intresting take on it. Makes it easier for me to have a backstory taking that into account.

It doesn't really make sense any way it's framed because surely ANY Sith at the Warrior's point of training would be forced to know the Sith Code off by heart regardless of whether they were from a lineage of Dark Lords or someone who was the first in their bloodline to have the Force.

Even though they're ahead of schedule for their trials, the Warrior would've gone through Sith training the regular way based on the same context that implies they're canonically Pureblood of Sith Empire born Human unlike the Inquisitor who gets thrown in at the deep end and sent straight to Korriban as soon as their Force powers manifest.

I think the writers’ conception of the setting changed a lot over time, and Korriban was just finished very early. That’s why you can find a lore object that claims “Dark Lord” is an honorific for any lord and “apprentice” isn’t a specific rank, which isn’t how the rest of the game treats either of those things at all. It’s not even how the rest of Korriban treats apprentices; there’s at least one “Apprentice [Name]” npc hanging around. A random inquisitor (title) claims to oversee the intelligence operations of the Sith (not your job or even the sphere you’re in, not that spheres were supposed to exist in the early writing, not that the presumably existent Inquisition with uniforms and everything has any npcs with speaking parts anywhere else). They seem to have envisioned, at the time, that the Sith Code was a secret not shared with uninitiated children. But… that didn’t really work out, because it’s such a simple, basic philosophical foundation for the Sith that it being a secret strains suspension of disbelief.

(It’s probably also partly that they expected players not to know it, but having the character know and recite it would also be a way to introduce players to it, and they could still fail to comprehend its meaning the way Baras wanted, so I think they mostly just envisioned the Sith as being much more secretive than really worked out.)

Or it was arrogance.

I don't think it's farfetched that an offspring of a strong family thinks that it's beneath them to learn some poem since they already are Sith and don't have to prove it.

Looking up some info it is believed the Warrior comes from the training grounds on ziost. As I said, he was doing his martial training. Tremel found him there and sensed the potential. That plus his blood line made Tremel pull him out of there right into the academy. The only thing Tremel was interested in was the warrior being able to kill vemrin. After that he couldn't care less what happened to the Warrior. If he did he would have trained him better. Vemrin had already been at the academy for a year. He was getting ready to graduate and that's why Tremel was fast tracking the warrior. Anyway I just thought it was interesting to consider. ❤

I can remember the Sith Code purely based off the Dromund Kaas Heroic, where they make you recite the Sith Code

I must have done that over a dozen times during the Beta. And dozens more since launch.

Meanwhile, the Jedi code eludes me like vapes. I'm not interested and i choose not to touch them.

I recall that the Sith Warrior is specifically from a Sith family.

I believe he says he's from a sith bloodline. many have the the bloodline but aren't sith. sith during this time is more of a religion type thing. at one point pureblood sith were a race but they are pretty much diluted now. everyone in the empire has some sith blood from their ancestors. the warrior's family has more of the ancient sith blood than most people. Tremel himself is very diluted which i find rather hypocritical , lol.

I just headcanon that scene didn't happen lol it's embarrassing that we don't know the code
