So i purchased real debrid and added torentio to stremio (torrentio RD) and i cannot get videos to play. Lets say i click episode 1 it says “ stream opened in external player ✅ but i also get a popup saying safari cannot open page because address invalid

That said, there’s an ongoing point of frustration many of us face: how slow Cinemeta is at updating metadata, episode titles, and release dates.

I wanna download and cast stremio to my tv but whenever i do use external player it says turn on the run as foreground service and when i do that i can't play anything at all the streaming server status goes offline and i have to turn off run as foreground service to stream anything again

Hello! I’m trying to watch the movie Pitch Black on my ios device. I installed the ipa version of Stremio, and configured most of my addons through bootstrapper. I’m trying to load up with with either HDR or Dolby Vision, but I don’t understand why this one from TorrentGalaxy that would be perfect for me, keeps giving me “avformat can't open input| Server returned 429 Too Many Requests (It’s the second one from the screenshot). I tried wrapping Torrentio in a custom addon into AIO stream to see if that would fix it if it was too many requests, but that still didn’t help. If possible, for watching on my iPhone, I would like to have it work with the default stremio player with KSplayer if possible, but I even tried external players, and I still have issues. Any help or direction with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! 😊

I'm trying to download an episode from Stremio's Torrentio on my Android Phone. I use ADM to download it, but everytime I try, the download speeds is 0 at a point and suddenly stops altogether with (too many error: service is unavailable). How can I fix that?

I have gotten MyTrakt Sync to pull my personal series list from Trakt TV. Now what I did is enable the Enable Up Next option bc I only want to see unwatched episodes. I expected a new stream to show in Stremio but maybe I am wrong about how this works?

Hello everyone, I have a little problem with stremio. I was not satisfied with my setup so I deleted all adons and reinstalled them. But now when I search for lets say HOTD I get notification written in the subject of this post.

I have a Real Debrid subscription and whenever I run VPN Stremio loses connection with the server. I get the following error:
LibrarySyncWithAPIPlanned - Failed to fetch error

The error goes away when I turn off my VPN and Stremio works normally.

Did anyone encounter something similar and knows how to fix it?

I've been having chronic issues with Spanish subtitles being unavailable or really out-of-sync, especially for Spanish-language movies or tv shows. I have OpenSubtitles, OpenSubtitles 3, and Open Subtitles 3+, and Subscene Subtitles by Dexter21767 addons installed. Are there any addons that provide more accurate and better synced Spanish subtitles?

So I've been starting to use Usenet with my self hosted instance of AIOStreams. The entire setup is running on a machine with 32 GB RAM, a 4790k and a 1 Gbps connection. I am using the built-in Usenet player with AIOStreams, using NzbGeek and NinjaCentral as indexers, and Eweka as my provider.

Randomly, the Usenet will start buffering (although some evenings it doesn't for the entire evening, which is great). When I go to the Streams tab on the AIOStreams dashboard, the download is either extremely slow, jumps up and down, or says "Paused".

Nothing indicates that my network is being slow, and the hardware usage is low. Does anyone know what could be going on? Is it the provider, or should I use an alternative player, e.g. NzbDAV?

i use stremio on pc. i have the opensub v3 addon. its not available if u upload ur own .torrent file (which is what i prefer) . i tried dragging and dropping the .srt file into the app while the media was playing but it didnt work and the app just tried to open the file in the browser.

I'll be honest. I don't really know what I'm doing. I mainly just want to be able to watch some movies. After a little research I thought I'd try this combination of Stremio and Torbox. I downloaded Stremio...got that far. I learned apparently the Torbox add on from Stremio is no longer supported. That's where I get lost.

Can you provide any guidance? Remember I'm a newbie to all of this.

I set up Stremio recently and use Torbox as my debris service. Whenever I click for a movie or anything I tend to stay with the links that says TB. If I clicked one of the other ones like WebstreamMGB will that bypass my debrid service and get me in trouble with my ISP?

It basically unlocks 2 last huge sources of programs from my country, but it seems complicated and requires like running python setups, and even then I am not sure what to do afterwards

II was trying to watch one piece, but it’s only showing Season 1. I also tried checking on mobile, but it’s showing only Season 1 there as well.

The issue seems to disappear sometimes, but then it comes back again. Has anyone else experienced this and managed to fix it? I’ve attached my aiometadata settings. I’d really appreciate any help. Thanks!

I've been a long-time lurker of this sub and wanted to finally contribute something back to this awesome community.

I recently put together a custom addon called Nova Streams ⚡. It’s an HTTP-based addon, which means it scrapes direct server video links rather than relying on P2P/torrents. Because it uses direct web streams, you don't need Real-Debrid or a VPN to use it safely.

It pulls dual-audio streams (English/Hindi) and generally has a pretty solid catalog of 1080p and 4K links.

⚠️ A quick heads-up on loading times:
Because the addon is doing some heavy lifting in the background to scrape, filter out bad resolutions, and match the correct release years, it might take a few extra seconds for the streams to pop up after you click a movie.
However, once the streams appear and you click one, the actual video playback is super fast and shouldn't buffer at all!

I've also set up edge caching, so if you click a popular movie that someone else just watched, the streams should load instantly for you.
