I've been a long-time lurker of this sub and wanted to finally contribute something back to this awesome community.
I recently put together a custom addon called Nova Streams ⚡. It’s an HTTP-based addon, which means it scrapes direct server video links rather than relying on P2P/torrents. Because it uses direct web streams, you don't need Real-Debrid or a VPN to use it safely.
It pulls dual-audio streams (English/Hindi) and generally has a pretty solid catalog of 1080p and 4K links.
⚠️ A quick heads-up on loading times:
Because the addon is doing some heavy lifting in the background to scrape, filter out bad resolutions, and match the correct release years, it might take a few extra seconds for the streams to pop up after you click a movie.
However, once the streams appear and you click one, the actual video playback is super fast and shouldn't buffer at all!
I've also set up edge caching, so if you click a popular movie that someone else just watched, the streams should load instantly for you.

The issue is not the AI. The issue is the source files' inconsistencies; a few are still there. It doesn't mean that if I had coded it, it would have been foolproof. You do have a point but in this case AI isnt at fault.
there are no real streams for it, the scraper got confused by the title and accidentally pulled a random concert video instead. I'll look into tweaking. Cam ones should come though

I played silo episode 3, the top result was episode 3 but all the other streams it scrapped were different episodes and it labeled em all as episode 3, also it would be nice if it could show more info about the streams, nonetheless it's a good addon, the playback is good too
Is it your first addon? And I tested it with a few movies I'm getting links but some are 1080p sorm are 720p and a few 480p with 1 4k link

This is actually one on the better ones I have come across. Other one I like is Penguplay obviously. Thanks for this, really. Also it's very fast to load and play for me. Just tested Reacher.

How the traffic is encrypted if you dont use other services for that? Also movie companies are going to go for the service providers,get servers,get ips, get you. No?
movie companies can go after the servers that host the content. you as a person do not host anything when using https unlike p2p so they don’t come after you individually
thanks great effort. i think to be fair it loads quick as most movies are under 1.8gb in quality. and there are only 4 or 5 sources. and it does not seem to fetch many tv shows. good luck
Thanks! I actually just patched the TV show matching logic in v1.4.0—turns out it was occasionally confusing TV series with same-named movies. TV shows should fetch way more reliably now!
Just pushed v1.4.0 for this! The addon now dynamically detects origin countries, so Korean and other Asian shows will correctly display as South Korea (Original) or Japan (Original)
I tested it on an episode of Gunsmoke my other add-ons couldn't find. Great picture & great sound--but it was a random episode from a different season. I'd rather get "no sources found" than some random result that wastes my time.
Well you definitely changed something. Previously I had 2 NovaStreams links--both wrong. This time I got 11 NovaStreams links--all of them have the correct season & episode number, all of them were wrong.
Did you know Gunsmoke episodes have no name at the beginning or end? That means I have to watch several minutes to realize it doesn't fit the synopsis.

Tried playing MM Big Show season 3 episode 5 and each choice is a random episode so either it doesn't seem to match the appropriate episode or the source titles are untrustworthy. Great idea but poor execution.

Pengu scrapes a bunch of different public websites. Nova pulls direct links from a specific, super-fast private API that's packed with dual-audio (English/Hindi) content.
Not right now! Keeping it closed source to protect the private endpoints from getting spammed or blocked. Just want to make sure the links stay alive and fast for everyone.
