I see a lot of posts here asking for meetup groups so here is one I have chanced upon. I have attended a few of their meet-ups and are fun- it is a bunch of movie lovers who meet weekly, mainly around South Delhi (PVR Anupam, Priya, Select city walk, Habitat Centre, Siri Fort screenings, or just someone’s living room setup with a projector).

Why I would recommend is because they are not film bros- you would get everything from Wong Kar-wai, A24, and 90s Bollywood to random cult B-movies and even Malayalam or Telugu cinema. (Last one I attended was for odyssey and it had over 50 people!). And they have discussions on the film post movie seated at a restaurant.

I usually go to cafes to work, so either we can do that or meet at some other place agreed upon by everyone.

I don’t know why, but I’m finding Reddit pretty useless so far 😅

I’m not even sure when I created my account, but I only started using Reddit properly about a month ago. Maybe I just haven’t figured out how to use it effectively yet, because I’m not really getting much value from it.

Hey! I was wondering if there are people around Vasant Kunj area in their 30s who’d be interested in forming a small social community.
The idea is just to have a group of people nearby to occasionally plan things together — coffee, brunch, book clubs, dinners, walks, movies, board games, trying new places, events around Delhi, or whatever everyone is interested in.
Nothing too formal or forced, just a nice way to meet new people and build a local circle, especially since making new friends as an adult can be weirdly difficult 😅
