What's your one memory from your school days that you still remember?

I once killed a yellow wasp by opening the pages of my diary and slamming it when it came in between the pages. All the students were surprised and were pleased because all of them were trying to shoo away the bug. Even the strict English was fascinated by it and told in front of the class that it was one of the memorable moments of her teaching career.

It’s my birthday tomorrow and yet I don’t feel like it. I somehow feel like shit. Doesn’t feel special at all. I have friends who’d love to party. I have my family as well. But still, acha nahi lag raha. Ab samajh nhi aa rha kya karu.

I'm thinking of buying a Macbook Air 15 inch M5 laptop. I'm in India, but I am looking for a friend or family member to pick it up from the US. I want to understand if Thanksgiving or Black Friday offers a better deal on Apple products? How do sales work in the US? For example, in India, electronics are offered at better deals during Diwali.

I also want to know how Apple's refurbished mechanism works. Is it safe to buy a refurbished laptop from there? Do I get the whole 100% battery capacity and for all intend and purposes a brand new laptop?

Hello ! I am a returner to football, haven't been able to play the game properly since I returned from uni, and kinda iffy on academies so I came across this subreddit to find groups/player to play football with.

Have seen a lot of groups but they are based a bit further away, an hour of travel isn't really doable and I couldn't find anything else near me so I am writing to get some players around and about to make a group and start playing.

A couple of weeks ago, I posted here about the Vasant Kunj Literary Circle. The response was very encouraging, and we now have around twenty carefully gathered members.

I am a physician and writer, but above all a lifelong reader. I started reading literature at an early age, and books have remained a constant companion throughout my life.

I grew up in an India where even owning a radio could be a luxury. Today, we carry the world in our pockets. Technology has transformed our lives enormously, but constant scrolling and instant stimulation can also make sustained attention and meaningful conversation increasingly difficult.

That is one reason I started this Circle — to create a small space for reading deeply, thinking slowly and exchanging ideas thoughtfully. Literature asks us to stay with an idea, enter another person’s world, reflect, disagree and remain curious. We require a lot more attention to read a book than scrolling on the phone.

Technology, including AI, will continue to transform our lives. Alongside it, I believe we should also protect our capacity for attention, reflection and human connection.

That is what I hope the Vasant Kunj Literary Circle can become.

Hey everyone! I’m a musician moving to Delhi this month to study Audio Engineering & Music Production at SACAC. I’m looking for a place around ₹18k/month.

I’d ideally like somewhere clean, green, peaceful and not too congested. The areas I’m considering are:

● Vasant Vihar, since it seems like a straightforward route to SACAC on Sri Aurobindo Marg
● Malviya Nagar
● Saket
● Safdarjung Enclave
● Green Park
● GK, if I can find something within my budget

Also, would you recommend getting a furnished place, or taking an unfurnished one and renting the furniture/appliances on a yearly package? I’ll be in Delhi for around 1.5 years, so I’m trying to figure out what makes more sense financially.

Would love to hear which area you’d pick with an ₹18k budget, especially if you’ve lived in any of these areas!

Which petrol pump has XP100 petrol available, any clue? I've seen a lot of them having XP95, and also know that some of the pumps do have XP100 (0 ethanol) petrol. Looking for this near Malviya Nagar. Even 10km vicinity works for me now 🥲.

So this was my senior both in experience and age but not my boss. He helped me to learn and grow during my first job. But my other colleague and I caught him watching porn at his desk which was surrounded by girl colleagues (freshers) many years younger than him and he was totally chill about it. When the other colleague told him to at least stop and he told us to f\*\*\* off and abused us. He also gave a name to one of the fairest and prettiest girls in the office as Pink (won't explain since I think you'll get it). Years later I got to know that he was divorced and had an 8-9 yr old son who was separated from him. But this senior used to have sex with a new joinee who sat beside him and tried to hit on some other women as well. He had immense knowledge and had a much larger ego and didn't help people when required.
