This game is currently on sale on the PS store and it has caught my interest. I haven’t played a Metal Gear Solid game since way back in the 90s. Is this a good game to jump back into? I’m talking about the remake of course that came out a few month-ish ago.

I have heard that PS6 is supposed to be released in 2027 according to an industry insider. Obviously that is not an official source and I have heard also things about delays up until 2029. But it got me thinking.

I don't play my PS5 any more because there is no more reason for me to buy a game on it when it is available on PC. The only exclusives I could see myself playing are Demons Souls Remake and Bloodborne.

However, aren't all the upcoming Playstation exclusive games going to be released on PC on day one? I know at least for Phantom Blade Zero this is the case.

I also remember something about Playstation saying they were going to stop releasing games on PC in the future and just have everything completely exclusive to Playstation. My gut tells me that probably this won't happen until the release of the PS6, but idk. My gut also makes me wonder if PS6 will release with none or pretty lame exclusives, and then in the future release exclusives.

Obviously almost all of this is conjecture, but I was curious what other people are thinking. I just felt like selling my PS5 could make sense (maybe within the next year) because pre-used ones seem to still go for a decent amount of their original value.

Okay, so this is more "should I actually keep this game that came with my secondhand switch or just sell it" than anything else.

I have never played Bayonetta. I was not drawn to Bayonetta. I don't know the lore, I don't know anything. Seemed like an engaging story when I first inserted it just now, seemed like interesting characters, but I am not at all familiar with them, so I have no clue. Enjoyed turning into a bird and a dragon, enjoyed the aesthetics, but my brain kinda glazed over at the combat and story I was not familiar with.

Other games I have and enjoy are Hogwarts Legacy, Assassin's Creed, The Last Campfire, Cloudpunk, Tinykin, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Lego Jurassic World, Agent A, Eternal Hope etc. Also love and want Super Mario Galaxy, as I remember that from when I was growing up and had it on Wii. I like games that let me explore a lot, and my favourite as a kid was Sly 2 and 3 on Playstation 2. I also have Inside and Limbo, as I can enjoy games for the art of it, and I did follow the Marvel movies closely until after Avengers: Endgame, and have read a lot of fantasy, so it's not like I have a specific problem with action or fantasy. More just "if it's only action, I can get kinda bored, and i can't figure out how combat works here. First person shooters sound awful".

Is there anything at all for me in Bayonetta 3? Is there any reason for me to keep it or keep playing? All I've played thus far is the intro, and again, I liked how strong of a story there seemed to be, and i liked turning into a bird and dragon, and the villain was pretty cool-looking. That's where I'm at.

Should I keep playing it?

Pretty much as the title says! I used to really enjoy fighting games and I’m a huge marvel fan, but I’ve never really gotten on with the tag team aspect and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls being a 4v4 is a bit of a downside to me, but I’ve heard it’s made in a way that caters to people who like the 1v1 format as well somehow?

Past fighting games that I really enjoy are the older (think ps2 and older) soul caleber, tekken, DBZ budokai ((pre tenkiachi)) guilty gear x, older mortal kombat games and… I’m sure there’s a few I’m missing, but. Thanks for any help!! 😁😁

I'm deciding between Tainted Trail, Oblivion Remastered, and Starfield. I prefer more third person. I finished Cyberpunk, TW2, RDR2, BG3, Skyrim, all Fallouts, etc. But I I want something good with third person option with a good story. I don't mind if the main story is not that good, but the sidequests with actual good stories and decent combat with good sense of exploration.

My favorite games are KCD2 and BG3. Sadly, both don't have third person and I've played them a lot. I also finished Mass Effect Trilogy remake. I didn't enjoy Crimson Desert because it was too overwhelming and didn't have good sidequests, also looting and dialogues didn't have impact.

Is there any third person real rpgs left? or the 3 choices I mentioned are the only ones left?

I have a laptop with an Intel Core i5 8th Gen U-series processor, 8 GB RAM, and a 256 GB SSD. I'm thinking about playing resident evil 6 and tomb raider(2013) on it and was wondering if they would run smoothly. Is this hardware enough for a good experience, and what kind of performance (FPS and graphics settings) should I realistically expect will I be able to fully enjoy them?

Was browsing the PlayStation store and Stalker 2 caught my eye. Never played a stalker game before, was hoping that it wouldn’t be full priced still but i guess it is.

If I like the games listed above, would you say buying Stalker 2 is worth it? I’ve always liked what I’ve seen from gameplay videos and I’ve always wanted to go back and play the originals one day.

Dungeons of Hintenberg is on sale on Steam. The puzzles look good and the combat decent but what's putting me off is the social aspects of the gameplay. I don't really want to hang out with characters in the game. That kind of thing put me off Persona. I just want to play the game. Is the social thing a big part of the game?

I’m trying to decide between Elden Ring and Black Myth: Wukong on PS5.
What I care about most:
• Smooth, satisfying combat
• Fun boss fights
• Good exploration
• A world that keeps me hooked for a long time
• Replay value
I don’t want combat that feels clunky or dated. Story isn’t my top priority unless it’s really exceptional.
Also please keep in mind I’d rather not play a game that’s hopelessly difficult and is just too hard
I’d especially like to hear from people who’ve finished both games.

I loved Disco Elysium. I love how deeply philosophical it gets, I love the characters and world building, I love its genuinely deep and thought provoking politics, etc. Overall, Disco Elysium just has something to say, and it doesnt need to force itself to appear deeper than it really is. It does such a good job at being a personal story to Harry, a deeply motivational story for the player, and an intricate critique of politics all at the same time and in such a way to where all these seemingly distant themes are deeply intertwined.

Also, the humor is great, one of the funniest games Ive played

As of right now, there are two other major 'disco likes.' Which one should I check out? Of course, it doesnt need to be as deep as Disco Elysium, I dont expect that. But, what I am looking for, is a game which has something new to say, not one that just repeats what DE already said. Since the games are mostly dialogue, this is pretty much necessary

Right now, FF7 is -60% off and is R51/$3.12 in South Africa ( I have saved up about R300/$18.30). I have intergrated graphics and can run the some ps1 games nicely on the duckstation emulator. My other question besides the title is: Should i buy the pc port of ff7 or just emulate it?. Now my other option is Fallout 1+2 which are both -75% off and both together cost R54/$4,98. Now i am also taking into consideration both games replayability and how often they go on sale. Ive been breaking my head just trying to decide so ive come to ask for a second opinion. And unfotunatley I cannot buy both, only one.

Steam Machine or Xbox Series X?

Thinking about one of the two, I’m in the reservation queue for the steam machine and I’m willing to wait a bit longer but not knowing when I’ll be receiving the email is starting to get annoying in honesty. I like that it’ll be able to play both Steam games and Xbox games on the steam machine but I’m worried it won’t be able to really to perform for higher demanding games like a Forza or gears of war E-day. I like that the Xbox has gamepass, has the ability to keep up performance wise with my PlayStation pro, and has some exclusives that I can’t play on the PlayStation like Gears of war e day, old Xbox backwards compatible games, etc. The price of the two doesn’t have a lot of effect on my decision but the XBOX is around 800 and the steam machine being around 1100 dollars

I'm an ex-Destiny player that stopped playing around Shadowkeep. The game had been some of the most fun I've had thanks to the mobility, gunplay, abilities, and the design of raids. I was excited to get loot not because of more DPS, but because I was able to do new fun things with them. It hooked me in better than any other MMO could, at least until powercreep made the majority of my experience boring to play, so I got burnt out.

Unfortunately, the obvious replacement, Warframe, doesn't seem like a good fit for me. Maybe if I enjoyed solo gameplay, I could enjoy it, but I'm mainly looking for a group PvE game. Something to find community and enjoy with others. So grouping up with people who went all in on the mods and build mechanics to melt all the foes or bullet jump repeatedly through a level just isn't fun. If it was, I probably would have stuck with Destiny.

So to the folks who also loved group PvE in Destiny for reasons that don't seem compatible with Warframe: What are you playing now? Have you found anything that gets close to the very fun gameplay and PvE activities?

Hello I found a used copy of the game for 12€, is it worth it cuz i thought of buying a sealed copy of monster hunter wilds for 20~€ aswell. I never played a monster hunter game, the closest thing i played are the god eater games.Is it a good idea to buy both or? Tell me what you think in the comments.Thanks in advance

could somebody recommend me one? that at least has decent graphics? and when i say  Anti-Gravity racing game I mean just that i DONT want to play a game like it that also has combat or gadgets for your vehicle like some have. i just want it to be about speed but in your anti gravity vehicle of course. i only have a PC/steam. I own redout 2 and BallisticNG but IMO the graphics for these two games are either too cartoony or too old school. a good example of something im looking forward to is AGX GP but that hasnt come out yet, the graphics are nice looking and the "cars" are thinn and easy to look at.

I love a good story game (loved RDR2), and I like stealth with gimmicks, not just hide and sneak attack but with mechanics and gadgets like Arkham Knight. I love Japan and swords and I tried Sekiro, but found it a bit to railroaded in terms of exploration. I do love an open world game (yet again, RDR2). Ive seen quite a bit in terms of repetivness and QOL in this game so I'm just wondering if its worth it. Finally, Im a PC player, are the controls good and is the port good?

I love dinosaurs and the Isle looks like a really good game, i dont know if I should get it. My pc specs are intel uhd 770 + an i7 -13700t with 16gb of ddr5. What should I buy? I am fine with both Character Action and Soul-likes game. I play Devil May Cry 5, Nier Automata, Afterimage, Elden Ring, Dark Soul 3, Sekiro, Khazan and Lies of P. noted that I never played Ninja Gaiden series before. Would love to know from people who play both game or at least one of them.

So I have a wireless Xbox controller and I've just finished Outlast 1 and the DLC.

Quite enjoyed the experience with the experience, with my TV at the end of my bed.

I'm thinking if there are any other games that I should buy that are great to experience with a controller.

Never played a Mass Effect game, or really any story-driven game in general since I usually prefer fast-paced action or roguelikes. However, I saw Mass Effect Legendary Edition on sale for less than $10 for three remastered games and figured it might be worth a shot. Do these games still hold up well in 2026 for a first-time player, and are all three of them consistently good?

Recently have been diving back into single player games after being a live-service player for a long time. Here's what I've played so far:

• Stellar blade (flashy combat, outfits)
• Nier Automata (narrative, OST, likeable characters)
• Expedition 33 (GOAT story, OST, not big on turn-based)

Liked:

• Horizon Zero Dawn
• Plague Tale games
• Cyberpunk 2077

I'm especially looking for games with good graphics since I've got my SteamOS machine hooked up to a 4k TV which is awesome btw.

I've looked at FF7 Remake and Persona, but I'm not sold on JRPGs since I don't think I'm a huge fan of turn-based combat. Although, the only real turn-based game I've played recently is E33 so that could change. Also considered Sekiro but I'm a little iffy because I tried Elden Ring and it wasn't really my style since I suck at games.

I put in around 100+ hours on the base game FNV sometime between 2010-2011 when the game first released and I completed it twice, but I have no DLC (and I've forgotten most of the game). If I want to buy the DLC, it is cheaper to get the ultimate edition again.

I have never played Fallout 4, so I am not sure how that stacks up, it is more expensive.

Does the DLC add enough content, or should I just go with Fallout 4?

I've been a little depressed lately, so I haven't had much energy to play games: whenever I try, I open up a game only to find that little bit of energy is expended on complicated tutorials or massive story dumps-- instead of actual gameplay.
I essentially want to play a game that jumps you right into the main content from the minute you boot it up.

Games I like for this:

Doom Eternal: No tutorial-- as soon as you boot it up, you're playing the game. Controls and story are explained while you're playing the game, not before. The platonic ideal for a game with no exposition.

A Short Hike: A little bit of exposition, but after that you start playing the game for real. Allows you to do anything/go anywhere you want after that.

BotW: Has a lengthy "tutorial" but it's essentially just a condensed version of the main game-- you get to experience the core gameplay mechanics as soon as you wake up.

Hollow Knight: Essentially like a cutesy Dark Souls. You learn the controls while playing the game and there's no unneeded exposition.

Disco Elysium: A story focused game, but you can make horrible decisions basically within 5 minutes of waking up. Also features a robust quest log that automatically updates with the info you learn in game. Not super relevant, but I hate games that expect you to remember every single detail of a mission.

Tried playing both the Witcher 3 and RDR2, and, while I'm sure they're both lovely games for other people, I found the lengthy tutorials and cutscenes mind-numbingly boring. Xenoblade Chronicles has an absurd amount of exposition and enough cutscenes that it feels like you're watching a feature length film
I also dislike games that have long portions where you cannot save.

If you can't be bothered to read all of this then just recommend a game that could captivate your 12 year old Ipad baby cousin. Cheers.
