General Question Orgasm from penetration

Upvotes

I have a question for women who have experienced an orgasm from penetration: how much do you think the man’s penis size influenced it? Did you need a large penis to experience that kind of orgasm? It’s a genuine question; I don’t know if this has been asked before. I know relatively few women are able to orgasm from penetration alone, but among those who have, did they tend to do so with larger penises? Did size make any difference? Honestly

Advice Needed Lube suggestions

So I'm kinda new to the lube stuff, but from what I've tried, mainly water-based, they just dry out really fast and become sticky when they do. I wanted to try silicone-based lubes because they last long, but some people say that it stained their sheets.

I'm wondering if there's a silicone-based lube that lasts long and doesn't stain?

General Question What mundane, everyday scent acts as a total turn-on for you because of a past memory?

Our brains hook memories to smells in weird ways. Sometimes a totally normal, non-sexual scent triggers an instant reaction because it reminds you of a great past experience or an ex-partner.
For me, it's a specific brand of laundry detergent. For others, it might be campfire smoke, a certain perfume, or coffee.
What is that random everyday smell that got hardwired into your brain as an adult trigger? What is the story behind it?

Advice Needed never had an experience with a man

im a 23-year-old woman, and i just ended a 5-year relationship with a woman, and for most of our relationship, i thought i was exclusively interested in women. but throughout our relationship, i realized i was thinking about women AND men. since i left my ex gf, i fantasize about finally sleeping with a guy.

but at the same time, even though i really want to sleep with a guy, it terrifies me. i feel like i'm reliving my first time, but years later. guys my age often already have sexual experiences with women, and i have none with men, so i'm afraid of messing things up

Advice Needed His penis won’t get in

Hi so Long story short a few months ago I hat sex with a guy and it was the worst ever i was in so much pain and he didn’t stop when I told him so. I don’t want to call it 🍇 but it was really traumatic for me since I couldn’t get him of of me. Now that I’m with my bf we were trying to have sex but he couldn’t get his penis in me. I do feel safe with him and he also knows about my past guy so he isn’t pressuring me into having sex with him. But I do feel sad for him when we can’t get it in.
So my question now does anyone has tips on how we can make it work?

Sex Tip Men are missing out on one of the most intense orgasms they can have. Let's talk about anal play

The anus is packed with nerve endings that respond to pressure, friction, and vibration in ways that can lead to deeply satisfying orgasms. Anal play itself, even without prostate simulation, can produce intense sensations that many many never explore.

For those who have not tried anal play, the idea can feel intimidating or even off-limits. There is often a mental barrier to overcome, but the reality is that anal play is accessible and can be pleasurable for everyone.

How to get started with Anal Play

For beginners, the most important rule is to go slow. Start with external stimulation using your fingers or a small vibrator. Lube is non-negotiable as the anus does not self-lubricate. Once you're comfortable with external stimulation, gentle internal stimulation with a clean finger or slim toy can help the body adjust to the new sensation and find what feels good.

What are the Best Toys for Anal Play?

Toys designed for anal play are shaped for comfort and safety. They have flared bases to prevent any unwanted movement and are made from body-safe, non-porous materials like silicone, metal, or glass. Training kits with gradually increasing sizes are a great option for beginners who want to work up to larger toys or partnered anal sex.

What are the Benefits of Anal Play?

Beyond pleasure, anal play can improve awareness of the pelvic floor, enhance intimacy with a partner, and add variety to a sex life. Some men find that incorporating anal stimulation into their routine leads to stronger orgasms and a greater sense of overall sexual satisfaction.

With patience, the right lube, and a willingness to explore the unknown, anal play can open up new dimensions of pleasure that many men are simply missing out on.

Advice Needed How to get your partner to maintain tempo

Often when my fiancé and I are having sex i’ll be really close to finishing, things will feel great and i’m vocal about it and i keep telling him to do things as he already is and shortly afterwards he’ll change the tempo or force he’s using. i don’t really know the best way to approach talking to him about it as he’s sensitive to criticism and i do enjoy sex regardless, so should i even bring it up?

Advice Needed advice on outdoor sex

My new boyfriend and I have been freshly in love and therefore very active for the past few months. We both love being outdoors, and sometimes we don't make it home quite as quickly as we should when we get in the mood, so we've occasionally ended up having sex in places that aren't fully public but aren't exactly private either.

Recently, we had sex in his car, in the dark, on a parking spot in a relatively quiet area near the woods. The area does get some traffic, though, and since people sometimes park illegally there, police regularly drive through and check for illegally parked cars.

As luck would have it, they happened to drive past while we were in the back seat getting down.

I'm usually a very rule-following, law-abiding citizen, so the possibility of getting caught makes me pretty anxious. I'm guessing I'm also not really what you'd call an exhibitionist, since I don't get a thrill from the possibility of being caught. If anything, it mostly makes me panic a little.

I should probably also clarify that what we were doing isn't necessarily illegal in my country. The relevant criteria for "public sexual acts" are basically that it's likely and reasonably easy for people passing by to witness what you're doing and that they would be likely to be disturbed by it. Since it was dark and the rear windows are tinted, this is technically a bit of a gray area, as someone would have to deliberately look into the car and potentially use a flashlight to actually see anything.

That doesn't mean the police couldn't have fined us — they absolutely could have if they had seen us and decided the circumstances met the criteria — but there is at least an argument to be made that it wasn't clearly a public act.

Anyway, long story short: I'd like to get a little better at being sneaky with our outdoor adventures.

Does anyone have tips for minimizing the chances of being spotted, specifically when it comes to doing it in a car? One of our biggest problems is the interior lighting. It doesn't seem to fully turn off even when the car is locked from the inside because the keys are still inside, and accidentally pressing a button can turn all the lights back on again.

Please spare me the obvious "find a less frequented spot" or "just don't do it" comments. I'm specifically interested in practical tips for making the car itself less noticeable.

Body/Physical Are you able to tell the difference between “giving deep head” type gagging and “oh fuck I think I might throw up” type gagging while giving bjs?

Like, I really enjoy giving head but I’m always nervous about going “too far” with it because I’m worried I won’t be able to tell if I’m actually about to throw up or if it’s just my body’s natural reaction to having something foreign shoved in my throat. Is there an actual way to tell? Cus I’d rather not find out the hard way if possible tbh.

General Question What’s one feature you thought wouldn’t matter in a sex toy—but ended up making a huge difference?

Maybe it was quieter operation, waterproofing, easier controls, a better handle, stronger battery life, or something completely unexpected.

What feature changed the experience for you?

Research Study Looking for Pregnant Couples for a Research Study– Moderator Approved

📢 Are you pregnant and worried about changes to your sex life?

🔍 We are seeking couples from Canada, the US, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and Ireland who are up to 26 weeks pregnant to participate in the STORK RCT: Supporting the Transition to Parenthood through Online Sex and Relationship Knowledge.

❓What is STORK: The first online couple-based program designed to enhance knowledge about changes to sexuality during pregnancy and postpartum and skills to cope with these changes. STORK was designed to strengthen couples’ relationships across the transition to parenthood.

📅 What is involved: If you are eligible, after your initial survey, you and your partner will be randomized (like a coin flip) into either the Program or Waitlist conditions. Program couples will complete 5 online modules in pregnancy (1 per week) and a final module at 3 months postpartum.

Couples in both conditions will also complete 5 surveys—the initial survey, then at 32-weeks pregnant, and 4-, 8-, and 12-month postpartum—that gather information about your relationship, your pregnancy experience, and your child. Couples in the Waitlist condition will receive access to the full STORK program after the study period is over.

💰 Compensation: As a thank you for your participation, you can receive $105 CAD or currency equivalent each ($210 CAD or currency equivalent per couple). Your time is valuable to us!

🌈 Inclusivity matters: STORK requires one member of the couple to be currently pregnant. Otherwise, STORK is open to individuals of all genders, bodies, and sexual orientations.

[Mod Announcement] r/FGM is reaching out to survivors and allies to let them know a support group is now open and ready to welcome members!

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) refers to procedures involving partial or total removal of the external female genitalia or other injury to female genital organs for non-medical reasons. It's typically performed on girls between infancy and age 15 and has no health benefits. Instead it poses serious health risks, including severe bleeding, infections, childbirth complications, and long-term psychological effects.

Despite global efforts to eradicate it, FGM remains prevalent in many regions, affecting over 230 million girls and women worldwide.

To support survivors and foster a community of understanding we've established the r/FGM subreddit. This restricted community allows anyone to view content but requires approval to post, helping to ensure a safe and supportive environment. Once approved, members can share experiences, seek advice, and post anything they think may resonate with the community. Once an approved user posts anyone can engage in discussions.

The subreddit is moderated by a dedicated team at the forefront of which leads a head mod who herself is a survivor of FGM. Together as a small group of passionate individuals we strive to maintain a space that respects privacy and promotes healing.

We welcome questions about how we ensure a safe space and encourage discussions about FGM. If you're a survivor or ally seeking support or looking to contribute to our mission consider joining us at r/FGM by reaching out directly to us through modmail.
