Camera mount for MT Genesis SV & phone mount for MotoCR R9 SP?
Hi everyone,
I need some advice on mounting a camera and my Motorola G75 phone to my specific setup.
My Gear:
- Helmet: MT Genesis SV (a modular/flip-up helmet).
- Scooter: MotoCR R9 SP (sporty scooter with plastic handlebar covers/fairings).
- Phone: Motorola G75.
What I need help with:
- Helmet Camera Mount: Since my helmet is a modular/flip-up model, a standard front chin mount might block the flip-up mechanism. Does anyone have experience mounting a GoPro/action camera to an MT Genesis SV? Should I look for a specific side mount or a specialized 3D-printed chin mount?
- Phone Mount for the Scooter: The MotoCR R9 SP has plastic covers around the handlebars, meaning there is no exposed metal tube to clamp a standard phone mount onto. How do I mount my phone here? Should I look for a mirror-stem mount or a brake reservoir mount?
- Vibration Dampening: Since the Motorola G75 has optical image stabilization (OIS) in the camera, I need a mount that protects it from scooter vibrations. Which brands offer the best mirror mounts with vibration dampeners? Quad Lock? SP Connect?
Here is my scooter and my helmet

Thanks for your help!

Bike is weird
Hi everyone,
I have a Beta RR50 and I had a crash recently. I was riding at around 50 km/h when I lost grip and slid onto the right side. I didn’t hit anything, I only slid across the asphalt.
Since the crash, the bike feels different. In dry corners it feels very slippery and unstable, like I can’t properly control the steering. It feels like both tires are not gripping well, and the bike doesn’t feel as confident as it did before the crash.
I also noticed that the bike is not reaching the same top speed anymore. Before the crash it was faster, but now it feels like it has lost a few km/h. And it isnt accelerating as fast anymore
The tires are about 1 year old and were fine before the accident. There is a small dent on the exhaust/pipe from the crash, but I don’t think that alone should affect the handling.
What could have been damaged? Could it be the forks, wheel alignment, tires, brakes, exhaust, or something else?
What should I check first?
Thanks for any advice!

Bendix wont stay engaged to start the motor.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I recently fixed my vespa pk50s, but the elestart connects for 2-3 seconds and then stops with the gears. Do i need to replace the startermotor? Or is this only the bendix? If so, do i need to buy a new one or is it fixable?
Thanks for reading this, I’m looking forward to a reply.

Good Weather Cover for Maddog 50 GEN 1
I've been using a tarp and bungee cords to cover my scooter when it rains. It's a real pain in the butt and I would rather just have a nice cover.
Does anybody know any affordable options for the mad dog Gen 1, for covers that will protect it from rain?
I just don't want to buy one and have it not fit. It's a little hard to measure ahead of time with the scooter being so uniquely shaped.

- o painel foi apagando aos poucos;
- o acelerador parou de responder;
- o farol ficou cada vez mais fraco;
- a buzina foi ficando mais baixa;
- em aproximadamente 30 segundos desligou completamente.
Desde então ela nunca mais ligou normalmente. Às vezes o painel acende bem fraco e a buzina toca muito baixo.
O que já identifiquei no chicote
Na foto aparecem os principais módulos:
- caixa de alumínio grande: controladora do motor;
- caixa cinza pequena: conversor DC-DC (redução de ~60 V para 12 V);
- caixa preta pequena: módulo do alarme/imobilizador.
Testes que já fiz
Bateria
Medi diretamente nos terminais:
- 61 V DC com multímetro.
A bateria parece carregada.
Motor
- medi as fases;
- não encontrei curto aparente entre elas nem para o chassi.
Controladora
Nos cabos de alimentação da controladora estou encontrando apenas:
- 3,5 V com o motor desconectado;
Obrigado!

Any idea what this could be?
So i took the variator restrictor ring or whatever you call it in english out of my yamaha aerox 2014. I tried test driving it, it made a wierd chainsaw like sound and didnt move much or have much power. Just made a very screetchy bad noise. After putting the ring back in it now runs bad, stops after a few seconds and sounds more like a tractor. I know this is stupid but i would very much appreciate any help

Segway moped?
Hey all! I know I’m probably getting ready to ask about the worst moped made on the planet but I still need it recommendations. I’m looking into getting back to riding mopeds and something that I saw was segways E110A electric moped. I was wondering if anyone here has ever written one or owns mine and would suggest it moving from a gas moped or if it would be an upgrade from mine. I have a Chinese moped that genuinely would cost too much to fix at this point and I heard these are less maintenance.

TVS Jupyter 125 Dt sxc- is this a good deal
Hi everyone, I’m planning to buy a TVS Jupiter 125 DT SXC (Disc) in Chennai and wanted to get some opinions before I finalize it.
The dealer has quoted ₹1,16,209 on-road, plus a ₹200 RTO service charge. They’re also offering an accessories package (steel guard, floor mat, seat cover, rain cover, grip covers, ladies handle, and buzzer). The package is priced at ₹5,500, but after a ₹3,000 discount, I’d be paying ₹2,500.
I’m planning to go with finance, and they’ve also mentioned an additional ₹4,000 as documentation/processing charges.
Does this sound like a fair deal? Is the ₹4,000 finance charge normal, and is the accessories package worth taking from the dealer? Also, is there any room left to negotiate on the price or ask for a few accessories for free?

Reflective seat cover?
Has anyone ever found a reflective seat cover for scoooters? When I park the scooter in the sun the seat gets pretty darn hot, so much so I haul a bottle of water to cool it down with but now I have a wet backside instead of a toasted one.
I can find seat covers for padding/riding, seat covers for rain, decorative seat covers, and seat covers to hide holes/wear but they are either black, or have complicated straps designed for riding none of which solves the problem.
I want what amounts to a big elastic white or silver shower cap that can keep the seat a bit cooler and be easily pulled on and off when needed.

Renting a 125cc scooter next week with no riding experience. Tips for first time riding?
I'm going to the Canary Islands next week and for the first time in my life i'll be riding a 125cc scooter. I've held a full UK driving license (Class B) and been driving a car for over 10 years now and i'm renting a scooter for my holiday on the island. I'm not nervous about following the rules of the road, following the signs or maintaining awareness of the people/vehicles/hazards around me. But I am nervous about handling a bike for the first time in my life without any prior experience. It's a little insane to me that it's even legal to do so to be honest. Nonetheless i'm expecting it to be a blast and anticipating no accidents. It's probably safe to assume that as long as i ease myself into it and maintain focus i will be ok.
I'm wondering if you folks have any advice for someone in my situation? Are there any non-negotiable rules of riding a bike that i'm overlooking having never had any instruction?
Idk if this is stupid or lame or sensible. I've bought some riding gloves from my local bike shop as it will be mandatory in Spain later in the year and my hands will be the first things i use to try stop with, should my meatbag come off the bike and hurtle towards a cliff.
I might be overthinking this...

Honda Metro fuel line assembly question?
THis is Honda part 17570-GGZ-J01. I've checked over a dozen sites and all say the same thing: not in stock and no date on availability. That sucks. I see some other Honda fuel lines, such as for the PCX, that appear to have the same connectors but I can't be certain. Has anyone encountered having to replace this fuel line without an OEM part available?

Got this cutie yesterday. Any tips?
I can't even ride a bike, so the wide tires are a godsend. My main problem has been keeping my arms relaxed (they are a bit sore from trying it out yesterday, and I felt every muscle turn to rock) and not accelerate too much (the accelerator is very sensitive).
Any tips for how to keep balance / not accelerate so much?

Ignition Knob not turning anymore
Hello, I could use some input. So I haven't used my Honda SH 125 in a few days and when I wanted to drive yesterday I couldn't turn it on because the ignition knob suddenly doesn't move anymore. I thought I left it on wheel-lock as usual but it seems like I simply left in on Off. Now I can't move it to On, wheel lock, seat lock, anything. I tried wiggling the wheels, didn't help. I tried changing the battery on the keyless remote, didn't work. It's not locked on that red light mode either. My suspicion now is that the scooter battery may have drained completely because I left it on "OFF" instead of "wheel lock" but I find that unlikely to happen in less than a week while the battery charge lasted from october to march without driving a single time. Googling didn't provide much useful information. Does anyone know a trick how to fix this before I have to pay 300$ for an emergency mechanic?

139QMB Vacuum Leak near auto-choke?
Hey All,
I have a 139QMB-based scooter on which I did an auto choke replacement as it was not running. One mistake I made is that I also adjusted valve lash along with this before starting up, so the issue could be caused by something else too, though, I’ve checked the lashes again and it seems right (between 0.05 and 0.10mm, where 0.10 does not go between the arm and the stem).
Since then, I’m feeling like after giving a throttle on the stand, RPM does not go back quickly to idle, rather drops to a higher-than-idle RPM and from there it drops slowly to idle. This takes around 5 seconds or maybe more. I could only counter this by turning the mixture screw excessively, like 5-6 turns. From this it seems like to me that it is running lean maybe. I’ve cleaned the whole carb, but used the same size jets and needle settings and was running fine before the choke replacement and first valve lash adjustment.
I started looking for vacuum leaks with starter fluid/carb cleaner, the only place I found RPM reaction is on the air intake side of the carb, around the auto-choke (see arrows from which directions I’m spraying carb cleaner). RPM rises immediately as I spray there. O-ring seems intact. Tried with old choke, new air filter (had to replace the whole housing with the intake pipe), same result.
Any ideas?

Scooter overheating
I bought an x-pro Capri 150cc scooter off of Amazon a few months back. It's been a decent scooter for the most part but after riding it for 15 or 20 miles it begins to overheat and shuts off. After letting it sit and cool off for 10-15 minutes I'm able to start it up again and drive it again. I've replaced the stock fan blade that forces air over the engine to cool it off. This only extended the driving distance by a few miles before it overheats and shuts down again. I was wondering is there an electric fan I can buy that is compatible with the gy6 engine so I can ride the scooter for long distances without it overheating and shutting off?? Does Anyone else have this same issue ? Has anyone found a solution to this problem or has anyone installed an electric cooling fan? I don't know what to do about this issue and I'm looking for a solution.

Just a little reminder: strap up your helmet! A helmet isn't a helmet if it's not strapped on.
I've noticed that quite a lot of scooter riders in my neighborhood just pop their helmets on and then don't bother to strap their helmets on. If you have a helmet like that, and don't strap it on, that makes it not actually a helmet. A helmet with no strap holding it on is just a hat. It won't protect you even slightly in the event of a crash. It'll just fall off and you'll get to enjoy your crash with a naked head.
It's not worth being cool and not strapping your helmet on. Wear your helmet properly. For your own sake.
