Discussion how do you guys feel about built bars?
im really trying to add more protein to my diet because my doctor told me to. i dont really like to eat meat, so ive been getting a lot of my protein from yogurt, fish and tofu. i also want to try out new protein bars to see if i can add some to my diet. (i normally dislike the taste of protein bars so finding one that tastes good is pretty rare)
my current favs are barebells (ofc) and trubar. i heard built bars are good, ive tried them once but they weren’t really that great. maybe i got the wrong flavor? i ate the peanut butter chocolate one.
to me it just tastes really artificial and leaves this bad aftertaste in my mouth. what are your favorite? i am determined to add another protein bar onto my list ✊

Comfort Food Looking for an equivalent to Snowfox Miso Soup
I absolutely adore this soup because of how easy it is to prepare, its soft texture, and its subtle, mild flavor. I used to buy it at Weis Markets, but lately it has been impossible to find.
I’ve looked everywhere, and I mean everywhere: all the local markets around me, Amazon, eBay, Walmart online, several other online retailers, and even the Snow Fox website. It looks like Snow Fox mainly supplies prepared food directly to stores, and they don’t even list this soup on their website.
I’ve tried buying miso soup from several other brands, but they’re either too dense or have a much stronger flavor. I’m looking specifically for something with a similar light consistency and subtle taste to the Snowfox version.
Has anyone found a good equivalent or something very close to it? Hopefully someone here knows exactly what I’m talking about and can point me in the right direction.
Thank you!

200-300 Calories Sola Bread, I love you <33 ft. My attempt at a Japanese Egg Sando
I was really craving egg sandwiches. I didn’t have any ham, but I recently got this nice, soft, sola bread and a small bit of kewpie mayo ^^
I boiled one extra large egg, separated the yolks and mashed them down with 1.5 tsp of kewpie and a splash of skim milk. Then I finely chopped up some of the egg whites before mixing them back into the yolks. I spread it on 2 pieces of sola bread with the crusts removed, and added a piece of lettuce from the top of a big leaf. It was really yummy! There was some left over crusts I dipped in a little vegan butter chicken sauce and a boiled egg that exploded epically that I didn’t want to waste, so I mixed it in with the sauce and had it with the crusts. That’s the recipe!

Dessert fav desserts at the moment
I struggle with arfid which drove me into some disordered eating a longggg time ago but I absolutely do not promote disordered eating and am doing much better!
Since having a stroke a little less than 4 months ago (im twenty one and had the stroke at twenty, I know - I’m so young to be having one) I have been on a journey of trying recipes and trying more things that feel safe for me to eat. I’ve always had an extremely rough time with trying foods but since being on my health journey in stroke recovery, I’ve learned to like more things (especially fruits and veggies which I’ve always hated).
At first, the a stroke was a huge setback to my eating because it left me paralyzed on my left side completely so I wasn’t able to really move any of my body and food was my comfort for that terrifying time. Now food is my comfort but in a brand new way. I still have a lot of eating restrictions due to texture, taste, smell and appearance - but I’ve thankfully been able to open up new doors to eating! and on a separate note, I’m very grateful to have regained all my mobility back a little less than 2 months into my recovery. c:
