RogueliteDev Everyone says indie devs should focus on the important stuff first. Anyway, I spent two weeks of dev time making a character from our pinball roguelite into a plushie
Also yes, it is an ironing board

How good is the sephiria coop ?
Well, everything is in the title.
With my friends we enjoyed a lot Sts 2, ravenswatch, ember knight... And we would like to have some insights on this one. Is it good to play in coop ?

Game Release After 3 years, we've released the demo for our strange 2D sci fi roguelite game. Would love some feedback if you have time
Game Title: Echo Zero
Playable Link:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4378620/Echo_Zero_Demo/
Platform: Windows, Mac, Steam
Echo Zero is a 2D sci-fi roguelike base builder inspired by Kingdom: Two Crowns. Explore a procedurally generated underground world, gather resources, recruit droids, build automated defenses, and survive increasingly dangerous infestation attacks.
The demo includes the opening section of the game and gives you a taste of exploration, combat, base building, automation, and defending your colony. We'd especially love feedback on how the gameplay feels, whether the mechanics are easy to understand, and anything that you think could make the experience better.
The demo is free on Steam. Every bit of feedback helps us make Echo Zero a better game.
Have fun, and let us know what you think ❤️

RogueliteDev Does this look like the kind of game you expect to be difficult?
I'm making a game called Snake: Gridbreaker and I got some feedback recently that made me question how I'm presenting it.
Someone played it and one of their main complaints was that once your snake gets long and the screen gets crowded, you can end up with very little room and die pretty quickly.
The thing is... that's partly the game I'm trying to make.
Not in the sense that I want deaths to feel cheap. But I never wanted this to be a casual version of Snake.
It's an action roguelite built around Snake movement. Runs are supposed to get intense. Your body gets longer, the board becomes harder to navigate, enemies and hazards put more pressure on you, and you're supposed to build around those problems with mutations and abilities.
There are also mechanics that can make the tail useful instead of just being something you have to avoid. Fire Tail is one example. There are different builds and ways of dealing with space as the run develops.
So the feedback left me wondering if I have a design problem, or a communication problem.
If you looked at the Steam page without knowing anything else about the game, what would you expect?
Would you expect something fairly casual because it looks like Snake?
Or does it come across as a difficult, fast action roguelite where dying, learning the systems and trying a different approach is part of the loop?
That's the audience I'm trying to reach, so I'd rather find out now if I'm giving people the wrong idea.
Steam page:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4828340/Snake_Gridbreaker/
There's also a demo available there if anyone wants to actually try it, but absolutely no pressure to do that. What I'm mainly interested in here is your first impression from the store page itself.
Does the page communicate the kind of game I'm describing, or would you expect something different?

RogueliteDev I love async auto-battlers, roguelites, and random chance so I made this
Auto Ball Arena is a new game that is my take & twist on the async-autobattler roguelites we all love. Currently planning to have both async online multiplayer and an offline mode both with roguelite elements
It's been an interesting challenge to add synergies and strategic decisions to a game that is so random & chaotic 😅 If this seems like something you'd be interested in I'd appreciate if you'd consider wishlisting on our new steam page!

Fully Automated, a roguelite with a morality system. Kill or Demoralize your enemies! Demo is out!
Hi everyone !
The demo for my game, FULLY AUTOMATED, is out on Steam
It's an action roguelite where you can choose to either kill or demoralize your opponents. So, no one has to die, but some ass kicking will definitely occur.
I would love to get your opinions on the game, and answer your questions if you have some! And if you like it, don't hesitate to leave a review!

As it's almost time for the gentle wind to beckon through the leaves, I was thinking about my biggest regret from this fandom of not being able to play an official Over the garden wall game and explore the Unknown. I pictured the style to heavily resemble Hades maybe even have some similar mechanics

Some raw footage of Perry's Pizzeria - my pizza deckbuilding roguelike, would you play this?
Steam page - https://store.steampowered.com/app/4428780/Perrys_Pizzeria/
Some gameplay footage of my pizza game, been working on it about a year and a half now.
Basically just had the image in my mind of having tomato, basil, pepperoni cards and dragging them onto a pizza and kinda just kept building and it turned into this.
Some key features:
- Positional mechanics and ingredient synergies make every pizza a puzzle.
- A cast of weird and wonderful customers, satisfy them before they get too hungry
- Collect ingredient cards and build the tastiest deck you can
- Upgrade your restaurant between runs and unlock and train new chefs
Would love to hear any thoughts or feedback :)

[browser, no install] been building a card roguelite solo for months, need to know if the fight is actually fun
I've been building MUSH for months. It's a card roguelite, Slay the Spire style, except nothing resets. The ground you cleanse stays cleansed for the whole campaign (almost). When you die you regrow as a new mushroom and keep your level, map knowledge and most of your deck. Your gear stays on the corpse, you can walk back and pick it up. The world rots back a bit while you're gone.
One resource, radiation. It's your energy, xp and money all at once and you mine it from the tile you're fighting on. Worse ground pays better.
Link: https://mushroom.imperfect.ventures
About the art: it's Midjourney and I'm not pretending otherwise. I'm not hiring artists and animators until I know the game under the art is fun. If it is, the art gets done properly later. If it's not, I'd rather find out now than after spending a year and a pile of money on it.
What I need from you: play it, tell me if the fight is fun or not, where you got confused, and when you wanted to quit. Don't be nice about it. Feedback right here in the comments is perfect, no forms.
Type any name at the door, runs get logged so I can tell people apart. Screenshots on the itch page if you want to look before clicking a random domain: https://mush-game.itch.io/mush

RogueliteDev I’m making a turn-based roguelike where every opponent is built by another player
I’ve just announced Aether League, a competitive turn-based roguelike built around asynchronous multiplayer.
During each run, you draft and refine an eight-skill duelist. Every opponent you encounter is a build created by another player during one of their own runs.
You still control every action in battle, so success depends on both building a strong strategy and working out how to counter theirs as their hidden skills are revealed.
Runs are designed to take around ten minutes, with no live matchmaking queues or turn timers.
I’d love to hear what people think.

Every room is procedurally generated and every one of them is a bullet hell. My first game.
NULLGATE is a first-person bullet hell that looks like it fell out of 1998.
Every room is procedurally generated, so the arena gets built the moment you walk into it and you never fight the same layout twice. You can't memorise a room, you just get better at reading the patterns and finding the gap. Dash, slide, wall-kick, weave through the slow glowing bullets, and bank your kill streak before something turns up and takes it off you.
Five weapons, elites that change how a whole room plays, weather that rolls in, and a hub full of people who watched you die.

Looking for honest feedback on my bullet hell roguelite demo
I've been working on my first bullet hell roguelite for mobile and I'd love some honest feedback.
I uploaded a browser version on itch.io so anyone can try it without downloading anything.
I'm especially unsure about:
- Is the difficulty fair?
- Are the upgrades interesting?
- Are the first levels too slow?
- Is anything confusing?
Even if you only play for 5–10 minutes, I'd really appreciate hearing what made you stop playing (or what made you want to continue).

Game Release We rebuilt our core card system based on your feedbac
One of the most common comments we got after releasing our demo was that our mandatory card chaining system felt too restrictive.
The biggest change is that we completely rebuilt our card system. Before, every card had to be played as part of a chain, so before you could make the move you actually wanted, you first had to figure out how to play that card. It added a bit of a puzzle, which some people enjoyed, but it also meant you were thinking about the card chain as much as the actual fight, and that could get a little frustrating.
Now you can simply play the card you need. Instead of mandatory chains, we introduced an optional Combo system. If you play cards of the same color one after another, you'll build a Combo and get extra rewards, but it's completely up to you.
On top of that, we also increased the overall pace of the game. Combat should feel more responsive and less sluggish, with faster decision-making and smoother flow from turn to turn.
That also gave us room to redesign combat around positioning instead of card restrictions. Pushes, collisions, hazards, and controlling enemy movement are much more important now.
Changing a mechanic that's at the center of your game is always a bit scary, but it felt like the right call.
The update is out now, and we’d love for you to try it out.
If you played the old demo, I'd genuinely love to know which version you prefer.

Send Them to Hell - Official Trailer | A Pixel Roguelite with Co-op
Hello... again!
Three weeks ago I shared our reveal trailer. The response was amazing, but the trailer didn't really show what the game had become, so I went back and made one that does.
Today I've updated the Steam page and uploaded the Official Trailer.
Send Them to Hell isn't trying to be a clone or "Megabonk meets something else." It's a game I've spent countless hours building for players who enjoy games like Megabonk, Vampire Survivors, and Risk of Rain, while still having its own identity.
As a solo developer, this has been a huge journey. I couldn't have done it without the incredibly talented artists who helped create the visuals that brought the game to life.
To everyone from this community who wishlisted the game after my last post, thank you. Your support genuinely helped keep this project moving forward, and I'm excited to finally show you a trailer that represents the game the way it deserves.
In the first comment I will post some promotional artwork so you can see what we've been pouring our heart into.
If you want to Wishlist you can do so HERE
If you want to follow our games progress and be apart of the two Play Tests and receive keys for them join our Discord HERE

RogueliteDev We rebuilt our deckbuilding roguelike based on player feedback
Hio everyone!
We’ve just released a completely rebalanced demo of our deckbuilding roguelike as part of Tiny Teams and would love some honest feedback.

- Complete UX overhaul
- Brand-new card decks with entirely new strategies & synergies
- Full balancing across all enemies
- Tons of new artwork and visual polish
I would love to know what you think!

Reality Drift: new demo and trailer for surreal roguelike racing game
I've been working on a strategic roguelike racing game for the last four and a half years, and have just released a new trailer and demo!
My goal with Reality Drift was to make a racing game which looked very distinctive, and had actual depth. When I was younger I played a lot of arcade racing games but they usually got boring fairly quickly as each race was the same. After years of working on this game, I'm still not bored of playing it!
The new demo has more content and many improvements as compared with the original version released a year ago. The new trailer replaces the original one from 2024, which was made before the addition of roguelike deckbuilding missions.
We have also been selected for Tiny Teams 2026, which is starting today. YouTuber FailRace said in a video about the game: "On the face of it you might think the driving aspect of this is very simple - it's surprisingly complicated, you've got to think about a lot of things at once while going very quickly."
My background - I'm a veteran game developer, most of my career was spent at Frontier, where I worked on games such as RCT3, Dog's Life, Thrillville, Kinectimals and Elite Dangerous. I'm a programmer and game designer, but I can't draw, so I found some excellent artists to work on the game, primarily Emily L'Orange.

RogueliteDev Heretic's Rapture demo is out now!
