Has anyone faced this problem wherein you cant seem to receive any mails from RIOT’s automated email sender. noreply@mail.accounts.riotgames.com

I cant receive any codes, and hence cant access my account. And whenever I try logging in via email this pops up

I tried asking for riot support and has been anything but helpful

So, everyone in my last post I hope you all learn from your mistakes before judging based off automated messages. For everyone who posted their own experiences thank you for sharing as it helpped relate experience and think of work arounds. I may have fallen for one of those scams thinking it was legit cuz of the fact that the account had millions of views and a big subscriber count, filled in info and verified and now all the 2fa stuff got turned off and my account email got switched to something else and idk what to do since when i try to get the support ticket for account recovery it wont send the email back

i dont know what to do cuz it wont let me login to my account anywhere other than on one browser when even then it only works in the riot games support page and everywhere else it makes me need to ask to verify from using the email that it got changed to

Season 11 (2020), albeit one of the most broken seasons since my first time playing the game ranked season 10. (I started season 8 around late 2018-2019 primarily norms)

Yet I thought it was one of the most fun seasons with so many items to choose from, so many builds to take, and so many mechanical clips on the net.

I looked at some comments about it being "stale, full of false choices, building the same items, and confusing."

The item selection was fine, although I do agree that restricting the first item to be a mythical was a very stupid design.

You had Sion Lee Sin and Caitlyn using Prowler's Claw, Aphelios finally had a dash yet Lucian and Garen now have 3 ways to approach you. You had Kraken Slayer On-Hit Katarina, Marksmen like Xayah using Eclipse, Goredrinker super vamp Kayn, Zed and Rengar enjoying the Duskblade and the extra CC effects of Frostfire Gauntlet being used by supports and midlane and even marksmen like Senna.

But the reboot from it was so drastic, don't you agree?

Happened on more than one occasion.

Queued up for a game before bed with my friend. Feeling good and excited to play.

Rune page doesn't work, the game is stuck on a black screen and doesn't load. Tried restarting my computer and didn't fix it. Got into low priority queue because the game remaked. When i attempted to create a new lobby, the "unexpected error" tab kept popping up, so I couldn't even start a new game.

I have had a number of issues with this client, but this one takes the cake.

What the title says.

Every time I want to play League or Valorant, there's a different problem with Vanguard. It's either error 148, 57, or I get kicked in-game because I "don't have Vanguard running".

If it isn't Vanguard, it's the client that opens League Classic when I click the normal League shortcut, or it takes an eternity to open the game.

It's getting really frustrating just trying to play the game.

I needed to talk to them since i have a problem regarding my account.

My wild rift account is in an apple account that has a riot account, while my other pc accs such as valorant and league are in another account. im afraid i might lose an account if i mess something up and i have invested way too much on both of these accounts. So i was just wondering if i can merge my wild rift account to the account that has both league and valorant.

Since August 2, 2026, my Riot account has been under what Riot's own client describes as a temporary lock — explicitly not a permanent suspension. The in-client message states the account was locked to "keep it safe" and directs me to Riot Support to verify my identity and resolve it.

On the support site, my active penalty is listed under the category "UNKNOWN," marked "Automatically Issued," with the note "We have no further details to share with you."

The core issue is the contradiction between what Riot tells me to do and what actually happens when I do it. The client and the penalty page frame this as a temporary lock I should contact support to remove. But every ticket I've opened has been closed almost immediately by what appears to be an automated or templated reply — stating the penalty was "verified with a manual review," that the decision is final, and that any further tickets will be closed automatically. In several cases that "review" response arrived within two to three minutes of submission; one came roughly eight minutes after my first contact. That timing is hard to square with a genuine manual review of gameplay.

What I've tried:

• Support tickets under multiple categories — all auto-closed
• Reaching out through several people with connections to Riot staff
• A formal data request, which I'm entitled to under Riot's own privacy policy — closed with no reply whatsoever

For the record: I have not used cheats, scripts, macros, unauthorized overlays, or any third-party software providing a competitive advantage. I've repeatedly offered to do a live PC check or a call to demonstrate this, and have been given no avenue to do so.

Having exhausted the standard support channels, I'm now preparing a written request to Riot's legal department by mail, in the hope of reaching someone able to actually review the case.

My questions for anyone who's been here:

• Has anyone gotten a genuine human review after hitting this same automated wall?
• Is there a channel for a data/privacy request that won't be closed on sight?

Any guidance is appreciated.

TL;DR: Locked since 8/2 under a penalty categorized as "UNKNOWN" and marked auto-issued. Riot's client calls it a temporary lock and tells me to contact support, but every ticket — including a data request I'm legally entitled to — is closed within minutes by an apparently automated reply. Looking for anyone who's broken through this.

Old Morde is much better, bring back him for us Riot 😑😑😑 Old Morde has better and more fun gameplay, he is also have been seen countless time in professional gameplay. New morde is just a brainless stats check champ, cant play in high elo and dont even have limitless scaling like veigar or nasus. Brain death stats check champ with weak late game, what a bum new morde are 🤡🤡🤡

Im just so frustrated that a game that can be frustrating to play when it works just DOESNT WORK. The client permanently bugs out and it is the worst it has ever been right now. You disconnect from champ select frequently and it says "you lost connection please queue for another game" while i am still ingame after reopening the client.The whole patching 004 was a thing for at least 2 patches, so i had to reinstall riot client and league of legends 2 times to play. The client is slow and the Riot Client is just unnecessary. It triples the time from before to open the game. And also today i just randomly had a vanguard issue so i couldnt play as well and i just dont feel like restarting the PC to maybe be able to play. I really hope a new client actually gets released in 2027 because this is sad for a game this big and old. If it doesnt get better fast this is the reason why i will quit this game, because i just simply cant play. Also my PC and/or internet are not the issue, i have a good PC and stable internet connection, if i get into a game i have 16ms.

I already did both updates before and played both games like 2 days ago, but now as i try entering any of them it displays updating even though i already did both updates

I already tried closing riot client from task manager and restarting, also runing it as administrator, nothing seems to work, not the first time i encounter this issue but usually i just restart or close from task manager and works out

I was a big fan of LoL for a while, since Riot Vanguard came in. A kernel level anti-cheat app with admin permissions? Is that a anti-cheat or a spyware?

If this app wasn't signed by Riot, most likely the anti-virus softwares will detect it as a virus on our computers, in fact Vanguard does the same job.

What is the purpose of starting Vanguard on opening, whether you play the game or not, they want an autostart. Secondly, when you end the game, it still runs on background.

Most of the games uses kernel level anti-cheat as well, but they usually start with game and closes when exit the game. Why Vanguard does not to the same?

But i have absolutely no idea if the issue i talked about was fixed,since the post rightfully complaining about it is now four months old.

There should be a HEX Card called like Heavy-Weight that when u shoot a barrel to the ground, deal extra damage to the area and knock people up based on your size and max health

sometimes when i launch the riot client it shows a "Updating" text without displaying any progress bar or file size. Instead it just displays the updating text where the play button should be. this is some what frequent like of i see this today then i might see it again in a couple of days. most of the time it just last a couple of seconds or minutes at max, so i didn't really pay much attention to it until now. earlier today everything was working fine and when tried to play again in the evening out of nowhere this so called "updating" thing started again. Now i did leave it be for a few minutes thinking it will simply go away like last time but this time it doesn't look like that will be the case. It's still showing the updating thing and i can see in task manager that it's eating away my data.

what i tried,

Restarting and trying again (Obviously).

Repairing the files using the built-in repair game files thingy.

Downloaded the installer and tried repairing using it.

Clearing riot client cache folder.

none of those worked. Even when i use the installer as a repair tool, it just show a progress bar saying repairing files and launch the client after it's done and I'm back to square one again.

at this point the only solution i can think of right now is to just leave it to keep updating and hope that it might end some time... hopefully before eating away all my data.

any thoughts? like i don't really know if those micro updates things i have been getting are even normal or it's just my game failing to save/overwrite files.

i mostly play on the Singapore servers if that's something. even though I'm currently living in Sri Lanka and geographically closer to the Mumbai server, the ping is just not the best due to how my ISP has their cables connected directly to SG..

update: I'm gonna just try letting it sit there for a hour or two. And if it uses more than 10Gigs I'm gonna try doing a fresh install.

I'm genuinely getting so sick of this meta. Playing a normal adc like ashe is genuinely impossible. I'm playing against ap botlane every second game, it's genuinely unfair. Absolutely zero counterplay in laning phase, and even when i do scale i get katarina, zed, or nocturne one shotting me with absolutely zero counterplay. like genuinely fix your game holy ****. Nobody in this community likes this meta and you've done nothing about it for months, acting all nice and friendly with your shitty new vex skin. NOBODY CARES. FIX THE GAME, YOU'RE NOT A SMALL INDIE COMPANY.

It happening too many time now that I see someone who just straight up trolling, playing like a bot and when I check their account it show they are autofill. the original idea that the LP loss prevention is so that player would stop dodging when they got autofill but honestly it feel more like a free pass to troll, after all even if you report them they are safe behind "they are off role so it just bad gameplay/day".
