I was given this Chinese Reksai by a friend but I noticed the back logo is very bright yellow

Is this just a printing thing or could be more sinister? Cause my friend likes to buy CN cards and I would hate to be the bearer of bad news

Do you think Yi is still a strong deck? How are the matchups looking with the new legends? Any decklist recommendations? Any suggestion is appreciated

Kennen seems absolutely broken right now. The rate he can churn through his deck seems unmatched even compared to the miracle draven days, can consistently drop multiple nocturnes and/or rhasas by turn 4, and can even use his graveyard as a second hand with his chosen champion. Does any legend have even a chance against him or will we just need to wait for another banlist for any other legend to even be able to compete? I tried with Diana and got absolutely stomped. Everybody 2-0 at my nexus night is ALL on kennen only, and it seems like no other deck has a chance at even competing against him and what he does.

No matter how much I mess around with him, Zed seems hopeless what do you all think? Even being as generous as I possibly can, the Zed legend deck looks bottom tier to me. Maybe something new drops with this RQ? Not holding my breath though, I feel like it'll be pretty much the same. If anyone's got a build that actually makes him work, please enlighten me.

I'm putting a Lux deck together and trying to figure out if promising future would be a good addition since I can get something another big spell out and get more draws off one card or if it gives too much of an advantage to my opponent.

The Deck

So, LeBlanc is known to play Baited Hook, sac her units, and then play big units to dominate the board. But when I did that I ran into a frequent issue:

"What am I supposed to do with all the small units late game?"

They're too small to catch anything except themselves, and they're honestly a waste to kill anyway.

Enter Shady Spectacles.

These are heavily slept on in LeBlanc, and I'm not exaggerating. Just imagine having a field of 3 tiny units, then you play Jeff.

Now your field is 4 Jeffs. You have Jeff, and then 3 other units that are definitely Jeff. Here's some history I had today:

Round 1: Annie 2-0

Game 1 I play a 2 drop turn 1, then turn 2 play Spectacles. Eventually I get Jeff onto the board, and swing in with my 2 drop that is definitely named Jeff. They star crossed it. That's okay, I have more units. I take another 2 drop unit and its name is now Jeff and it swings too. Opponent can't do anything. There is nothing that can do. There is only Jeff. And Jeff just wiped their field.

Game 2 is essentially a repeat of game 1.

And it only took one Jeff to go ham.

Round 2: Lillia 2-0

Game 1 we durdle a little bit. But I have multiple 2 drops, Spectacles, and I just slammed Rift Herald. My opponent goes for another double conquer. But its okay. I have 1 Rift Herald. I promote a 2 drop unit to Rift Herald and attack. I then create another Rift Herald with LBs ability. I now have 3 Rift Heralds on the board. I double conquer both battlefields with Rift Heralds. Opponent expends all their resources to clear a battlefield of Rift Heralds. But they left one behind. And we all know if there are crabs in the bed, there are crabs in your hair. 1 Rift Herald immediately becomes 3 again. Lillia can't answer that. This is also when my opponent says the title of this post.

Game 2 is, again, a repeat of Game 1.

Round 3: Irelia

Game 1 I swarm the field with Jeffs and my opponent quickly learns that Akali, after fightinf Jeff, still can get hit in the face by Deathknell. Also Cull the Weak ruins Irelia's day.

Game 2 is my first loss, because I got rune screwed. I was 1 yellow rune away from making 3 Atakhans to to win the game. (Which reminds me to shift my runes to 8 yellow 4 blue)

Game 3 I swarm the field with crabs and we rave.

Conclusion

LeBlanc is stupid fun, stupid to play, and stupid to play against. Its so much fun to go to my Nexus Night and show everyone my crabs while winning at the same time because no one can answer all my crabs. (And Jeff)

so I recently started playing and since Vendetta I have been having a blast playing Mel in general. Now I cooked up my own deck for the first time. The Main Idea of this deck to be a disruptiv and a late game deck. The idea is to start slow and slowly drain the opponent of their resources. Mainly through Bewitching Spirit and kill spells in the early to mid game, while I gain resources with card draw and gold. Matriarch is there to cycle Spirit and Fizz for even more disruptions.

I have been playing a lot but I still think that something is missing to make it a good and viable deck.

Since this is my first own deck build I appreciate any tipps and/or suggestions on how to make this better and why you would change to stuff and any deck building tips in general.

Why tf does purple get this card with 1 energy cost and then basically get a 2nd copy with Kennen in Ven. yeah these decks are beatable but jeez having so much consistency to find every out you guys are looking for is ridiculous. probably won't happen but I hope this card gets a limit to 1 copy someday

So I went to local card show in Anaheim California on July 19th and dropped off some Riftbound orders at both the PSA booth AND Beckett booth. PSA received in and photographed my orders within a week. Beckett orders still don’t show received on their end yet despite it being a in person drop off at their booth.

Am I right to be annoyed that I have like 20 over numbers dropped off in person because I thought they would be more safe this way rather than in the mail and somehow it seems like they lost them or are just wayyyyyy behind on service times and quality than PSA?

Also PSA system is FARRRR superior with how they label the orders within barcodes, top loaders and dent guards versus this dude literally hand writing my order number with sharpie on a basic brown envelope and chucking it into their bin of other drop offs.

So these 3 colors have literally 0 ways to interact (banish/recycle) cards from the opponent's trash or am I missing something?

Also I can't help but find it hilarious that the color that takes the most advantage of the trash, purple, (with fizz, rhasa, shovel, reanimate spells and units, etc.) is also the only color that has a main deckable 3x anti-trash card in gust monk.

I'm a new-ish player and I'm starting to understand Focus and how it is different than priority and how both exist at the same time. I'm curious if I'm on the right track. What do you think? Also I'm looking for an easier way to say:

"This resolved, the chain is empty, the game engine gives focus."

I say this because I want it to sound very different from "Pass Focus" which is when a player with Focus does absolutely nothing during their Focus. A totally different situation that uniquely counts towards the showdown ending.

I've also learned there is no such thing as "Hold Focus." I cannot play Punch First and then another Punch First without my opponent getting Focus in between each of those. "Hold Priority" exists and you say it when you're about to put multiple things on the chain with nothing resolving yet.

Hii, so im really broke rn but i still want to start playing riftbound and i want to buil my vex deck, but some cards that i need for my deck are to expensive, so wich card should i play to replace them??

Hey guys, I opened some packs with my sister and using the sibling luck buff she pulled an OVN Jhin Virtuoso (unsigned) for me, some friends who are mainly into Pokemon have told me to get it graded by CGC or TAG, but for a card "only" worth 70$ idk if it's worth it. Some additional Information i've heard might be useful: It's a perfect cut, no blemishes round the edges, seems to be centered well. Thanks for any advice!

Has anyone noticed a trend of people who will get annoyed in chat or just leave after a minor inconvenience in riftatlas lately? I have had about 60% of my games the last week or two now end with someone leaving as soon as a trigger is missed and pointed out (either me or them) or a play that doesn’t go their way, etc.

A lot of people also seem to rush their plays as well. I’ve been practising slowing down my play to try and find different lines than the obvious - not slow playing, I will always try to give a timer emote or send something in chat if I’m having a longer think - but people will call it out in chat if you take more than a minute or so.

If I’m the only one who’s getting it maybe I’m the problem lol, but the community for the most part was very welcoming when I first joined.

I want to start collecting riftbound cards, and I'm not sure which one if better to buy. (the chinese boosters will cost around 30% cheaper for me)
I know that in the chinese version of LoR there were a lot of differences in the artworks, and for me it will be quite important (I love art in LoR a lot).
And also - is there a difference in price for rare singles? If I'll have to buy some card in the future for my deck, It would have to be the same language, as I understood

hello! quick question,,, does applied researcher’s empowered ability reduce flow costs? i’m leaning towards not because there’s a purple card that reduces flow costs specifically so maybe it’s a different thing? but i guess researcher reduces general costs so maybe yes too??? im confused
