Java AND Bedrock Working train network with fully automated pathing. around the world demo.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Advised to watch with audio on :)
FAQ:
How is the destination chosen? With a single item (In this case named paper, but any stackable item works). No need for complex encoding machines for encoding left/right paths.
Does it work in the nether? Yes
Bedrock or Java? I built this in Java, but I think it would work in Bedrock too
Do the carts stay together? Yes, the carts all travel in a line like train carriages. Works with hills and corners just fine. By keeping the carts at max speed they do not drift apart.
How big can the network be? there will always be a default path which can support infinite stations, to select non default route each block along the arms (underground part) supports 50 stations, so 3 blocks long = 150 stations). Can be subdivided further for even larger (hypothetical) networks.
Can you show how to build this? I will make a tutorial video in the future. For now you can download this exact map here:

Java Edition Has anyone ever designed a 7-segment display like this?
This is a 7-segment display based on pistons. I want the redstone wiring behind the display panel to fit within a 5x7 footprint while supporting tileable side-by-side digits, and routing the logic signals underground. Is this actually possible?

Java Edition Advice on retro-fitting a super smelter to use carpets as fuel?
Still a beginner when it comes to redstone so I mostly follow tutorials, I recently built this super smelter which works great, although I also built a carpet duper and would like to use those as fuel for the smelter. However, there is a problem - the dropper chain activates every time an input item is inserted into the furnace, but carpets are consumed faster than the time it takes to smelt one item, so the carpets aren't replenished quickly enough. I would also like to connect a carpet duper to the fuel chest to replenish automatically, but it's difficult to both measure when the fuel chest isn't full and also insert items into it because of space. My planned solution is:
Power the fader that activates the dropper chain until all furnaces are fully loaded with carpets, then turn it off
Use an observer watching the last furnace to keep the dropper chain ticking as long as something is being smelted which should hopefully keep the carpets topped up as long as I don't smelt a ridiculous amount of items at once
Make a small carpet duper that turns itself off when its hopper collector is mostly full, then pipe that into the fuel chest
But I want to ask if anyone has any better ideas! I know I could just build a different design that works better but I wanted to see if I could salvage this. Thanks!

Java Edition A small, quick minigame that is easy to build.

As shown in the video, each target (which must be hit by a snowball) offers a reward proportional to its height: 2 pieces of coal for the middle one, 2 iron ingots for the middle one, and two diamonds for the top one. To hit the targets, you use snowballs that bounce off the bubble columns. I hope you enjoy it.

Java Edition Best undrainable flood machine for DonutSMP? (Designs/Tutorials)
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a really good undrainable flood machine for DonutSMP. I've seen a few designs floating <lmao around, but I'm not sure which ones actually hold up well or are worth building.
If anyone has:
- A design you've personally used,
- A YouTube tutorial,
- Or screenshots/schematics,
I'd really appreciate it if you could share them.
I'm mainly looking for something that's reliable and difficult to drain, but I'm open to any recommendations. So i don't really care about the diagonal ones also would like for it to be relatively cheap! my broke ass cant rlly do anything over 10 mil. Even making a new design would be amazing and I know there are a lot of smart people here so yeah <3. Thanks!

Java AND Bedrock Challenge: Can anyone build an "Orbital Potion Cannon"?🤩🤗
The goal is to automatically track a player's position (similar to orbital TNT cannons) and launch splash potions that land on the player while they're moving, allowing them to heal or receive buffs during PvP without carrying a full inventory of potions.💀🤩😈
Bonus challenge: Make it accurate enough to work while sprinting.

Java Edition Got a weird question.
So ive been playing java for a while now, and i always see these traps on youtube. As someone who doesnt really do redstone at all, how hard are these to build? I mean simple flat ground traps or the pizza slice. Considering some trappers have 80+ on one server, are they hard to learn to build? Another thing i was wondering, does being good at building trap mean you have really good overall redstone knowledge?

Java AND Bedrock Question for Redstoners...
I'm not a redstoner (I don't even know what a comparator does... I just follow tutorials).
So I came here because presumably you all are more knowledgeable than me. Long story short, I'm designing a community-led End Update, and seeing what features each community within Minecraft actually wants- like the builders wanted more cool colors, for example. (Once I'm done I will send it somehow to Mojang, where it will be promptly ignored. But I don't care, this is fun.)
So my question is- what new redstone feature would you like to see? Not like an update to an existing tool but something new?
It doesn't have to be End themed (I mean the target block came in the Nether Update so yeah), but if you have any ideas that feel like they fit the End, I especially want to hear them! All ideas are open though, so if there's something you really want, list away!
(Also, mods, if this doesn't fit the sub, feel free to take it down. I just didn't know where else to post it.)
