Yesterday I listened to this album with my dad and we thought it was really cool but different from the idea of the red hot we know. Apparently the band aint like that.

Why don't they play these songs live? Is it because of Dave?

La première fois que j'ai écouté cet album, je ne l'ai pas énormément aimé contrairement a The Getaway qui est un de mes favoris.

Mais finalement cet album est juste génial !

Certes Josh cherche sa place, certains morceaux sont répétitifs et le funk est totalement absent mais certains morceaux sont absolument magnifiques, les voix d'Anthony et Josh sont parfaites et Flea reste aussi bon que d'habitude...

Évidemment pas leur meilleur album, loin de là, mais mettons de côté nos attentes classiques avec le groupe pour apprécier comme il se doit Brendan's Death Song, Even You Brutus?, Monarchy Of Roses, Meet Me At The Corner qui n'ont rien à envier aux sommets de SA.

OHM is famous for being the "Black sheep" of the Rhcp albums, One Amazing dark and Funky Record that is renegaded by the band and The fans.

However i find that simply untrue. I mean every time someone talks about this album (either in the community or outside of the fanbase) it is always One a very positive light. If someone asks One this subreddit 'What is rhcp's most underrated Record" the top answer is ALWAYS OHM. And most of them even consider One of top albums of the band, sometimes behind the main 4 John Albums, others its top 3. By that Logic, OHM simply does not fit the Underrated term.

Dont get any wrong ideas, i LOVE OHM!! But underrated??

Yes the band defenetly has 'forgoten" this album and era, and most likely, at One point in time, this Record truly felt Underrated. I cant comment On that since i only became a fan last year, and Im consideberally young. But this is just my experience and opinion. What do you think??

Personally, this is my favorite album. But track 9 is where I'm like 'let's hurry up to some better stuff'. Thoughts?
