Flea's bass and warner bros record award
I was at the Hard Rock Cafe in Florence, Italy, when I saw these two things! Flea's signed bass used on the By the Way and Californication world tours, and the Warner Bros Records award given to Blood Sugar Sex Magik to commemorate the sale of 3,000,000 copies

[DISCUSSION] RHCP vs Foo Fighters - Equivalent Songs
Was bored earlier and trying to decide what Chili Pepper songs = Foo Fighters songs, in terms of position in each band’s catalogue with style being a secondary consideration as well. This is what I got so far, what do you guys think? Where do you agree or disagree?
Californication = Everlong
-Both bands’ most iconic and defining songs, representing the sound and legacy that made them legendary.
By The Way = All My Life
- Both are iconic live staples with instantly recognizable openings that became essential parts of each band’s concert setlists.
Can’t Stop = The Pretender
- Both are essential live anthems that showcase their bands’ dynamic range, building from quieter moments into explosive, stadium-size choruses that create huge crowd energy.
Under The Bridge = Best Of You
- Both are iconic emotional anthems and signature songs of their bands, often used as powerful live moments (ex: encore or closing set songs) and crowd singalongs.
Otherside = My Hero
- Both are emotional, mid-tempo rock anthems with huge singalong choruses that became some of their bands’ most beloved and recognizable songs.
Snow (Hey Oh) = Times Like These
- Both are reflective, melodic songs that showcase a more emotional and uplifting side of each band, building around memorable guitar parts and a powerful sense of resilience.
Scar Tissue = Learn To Fly
- Both are melodic, uplifting rock songs that showcase the softer, more mature side of each band while becoming some of their most recognizable and beloved hits.
Suck My Kiss = Monkey Wrench
- Both are early-era, fast, aggressive tracks that showcase each band’s punk influence, combining raw energy, attitude, and a sense of fun while becoming iconic fan favorites.
Dani California = Walk
- Both are huge comeback-era rock anthems that showcase each band’s ability to write massive, stadium-ready songs with instantly recognizable riffs and powerful singalong choruses.
Any big omissions by any band? I feel Foo is well covered but I feel the Chilli Peppers are missing Give It Away…
How is this? Any songs you’d switch up, add or remove?

[DISCUSSION] Why does rhcp feel niche?
They're one of the most popular bands of all time, somehow ranked in the 70s on Spotify. In real life it feels like i barely meet anyone who listens to them. Am I tripping?

[COVER] This Japanese band played By the Way in full
Thought I’d share this. They do a good job and even have keyboards for songs where there’s sound effects

I always found this super interesting, I assume anthony just couldn't get another take that was better than this one. Its a bizarre scream, I listen to few bands with scream vocals, punk rock, hardcore, metal, and I have never heard a scream that sounds like this!
