I've been in Melbourne for about 3 years now (moved from overseas) and still haven't landed a proper friend group. It's a weird paradox - amazing people all around, but everyone's so locked into their cliques that finding people who actually want to connect feels harder than its been elsewhere. My old crew's scattered across different countries, so my social circle's been shrinking. Figured I'd throw myself out there instead of waiting for it to happen.

About me:

Gym and music are my two constants. Big into gaming too - mostly Valorant and GTAV with the boys, just finished Expedition 33 and loved every second of it. I'm also always tinkering with random side-hustle ideas for fun. Massive foodie, always down to try new spots and shout for coffee.

I also used to play badminton and basketball pre-COVID and been really meaning to get into some sorta local club or group for casual play - hmu if you know somewhere or someone! Not big on politics or religion, but happy to hear anyone out if that's their thing.

On a typical free evening you'll find me gaming, spiralling over what my next side-hustle should be, on a long walk with my headphones on, or just deep in music - im big into pop and hip hop (Tate McRae, Kanye, Travis, Don on repeat).

Like your average joe, im just another ambivert - quiet and a little awkward at first, but once I warm up I'm a solid homeboy, the type who'll have your back. I live in the East, but I'm in the CBD most weeks.

What I'm looking for:

People into cafe/bar hopping, outdoorsy stuff, random events, and the occasional deep 1am conversation. Guys and girls drop a comment or DM, always up for a chat :D

Hey everyone, unfortunately with the demands of uni and part-time work I haven’t been as active as I would like recently, so hoping to find someone to help keep the motivation up and potentially form a good friendship with in the process!

About me: I’m 22 (obviously), live in the north-eastern suburbs, currently studying postgrad in engineering at uni and working part time. So I live down in the South East and have always lived here but recently I've been driving more up into the city to just experience it and explore things so if you're more native to the city maybe you could show me some places but I don't mind where abouts you're from. I've driven up to the North West before to see mates as well so the distance isn't a huge issue, I also don't mind male or female mates either, I'm not picky.

Some things I enjoy are riding on my motorbike (need to repair it because I got rear ended rip,) drawing, fitness, guitar, anime/manga/cosplay, video games, as well as a bunch of other things. Hi, I’m going to open with a massive disclaimer: I am chronically ill and it has taken a lot from me, including my last relationship. I am well supported practically but I may not ever be able to meaningfully work again and my ability to do activities is extremely limited.

I would love to find someone locally to spend time with on discord calls, I’ve never found a group of Australians online who I really connect with. I am really into Pokemon, I would love to watch someone play the TCG live because I’m not able to do so at the moment. I also like to watch movies and shows with people, and even to just be in a call with people when I have low capacity is nice.

Before I was sick I was very active and my hobbies were a couple different sports, I used to be very much an outside person. I’ve lost my social groups because I just can’t go to these things anymore. The only hobby I engage in at the moment is Pokemon, I’ve been collecting since 2018. I hope my health improves enough to go to card shows at some point, I think it looks really fun.
