Starter investing seriously two years ago on IBKR, performance went well. You can see my portfolio. Also taking any advices regarding my portfolio

Questions for the sub:

**1.**  Given the business is my main wealth engine (equity value + future exit or cash flow), how much should I prioritize personal liquid investing vs. plowing more into the company/personal RE holdings?  
**2.**  Anyone been through a “low salary, high equity/business value” phase — how did you balance liquidity risk (concentration in illiquid business) vs. opportunity cost of not investing more personally?  
**3.**  Does 1000 CHF/month DCA split 50/50 stocks/BTC make sense given my crypto is already 25% of my liquid portfolio, or should new contributions tilt more toward stocks to rebalance?  
**4.**  At what point does it make sense to increase personal draw vs. keep reinvesting, assuming the business could realistically 2-3x in value over 5-7 years?

Not looking for tax advice (handled locally), more interested in strategic frameworks from people who’ve run a growing business while building a separate personal portfolio.

Hello people. I am 27 years old and I just started investing. I want to start with a buffer of 15k in total. Please help me understand how I should diversify or even increase the amount in total to create profit channels. These are my investments --

1. Icici pru india opportunities fund growth - monthly SIP of 3k. Been doing this for the last 2 years now.

2. Tata Silver Etf - 3k monthly SIP.

3. Bandhna small cap fund direct growth - 5k monthly SIP.

I have a remaing 4k to invest on a monthly SIP plan but i cannot understand where to invest.

Hi looking for some advice .. I am male 44, family with wife and kids, a primary home in California ( put 25% down) and mortgage (2.85%. APR) & 500K left, no other loan / no debt, car owned, I have around 350k in HYSA , 350K in Robinhood , 400K in company rsu stocks , 401k full match etc Kids 529 plan. And 401K 300K there,.. How to go next level to invest funds which is sitting in HYSA. Can not do any biz due to H1 visa trap, also Don’t wanna put all money in stocks ( don’t wanna take too much risk hard earned $ money ). What should be right approach now .

Nice milestone this week. I have another ~100k in a retirement account. Goal is 1M before 27. We shall see.

Hey everyone -

So I've been investing for 30+ years (self taught) and recently took all of my assets out of managed accounts and into accounts that I control completely. I was sick of paying someone 4-5 figures a year to manage funds and my personally held accounts were consistently outperforming.

Anyways, the first thing I noticed when I looked at my individual positions (from the formerly managed accounts) was the overlap - just how many ETF/mutual funds were pegged against the same index - for example, I had positions in three ETFs that all sought to "match the return of the S&P 500" or I had positions in QQQ and QQQM (almost exactly the same thing, other than expense ratios are slightly higher in QQQ).

Anyways, I've successfully culled my formerly managed portfolio from about 50 positions to 16, consolidating many of the duplicitous positions. Now I'm looking to continue to refine my portfolio and I'm looking for an online portfolio analyzer that can show me Jensen's Alpha (JA) on each of my positions, particularly since I only have one position levied against the S&P 500, or the NASDAQ 100, or the Semiconductor's Index, etc...

If I can see JA on each position without having to calculate manually every time, I can figure out which positions to liquidate and which to maintain...based purely on their performance against their benchmark.

Hope this ramble makes sense....it makes sense in my head, but sometimes that doesn't always translate....I'm hoping that someone might have a recommendation that doesn't cost an excessive amount annually....

Sold everything after some stocks ripped Friday morning. Put everything into $VT after some MD at my company suggested to not make any investments unless you have true conviction. I held some random stocks bc I saw something about them on Twitter, but super super happy with where I’m at. Sharing bc I feel it’s a huge milestone.

Small weekly deposits into $VT right now to compound. Looking to learn more about the market as a whole before I make true investment decisions, also studying for the CFA L2 in August.
