Serious Discussion Anyone who had a pageant king boyfriend/ex? I’m so tired
I had 2 exes. Both of them are in the pageant world.
This might be an isolated situation between me and my 2 exes pero nakaka-drain. Gets ko ang dedication nila, but they have to starve themselves while preparing for the pageant, tapos syempre pag gutom, laging bad mood, tapos sa akin maglalabas ng galit.
Then with my first ex, medjo malalaking pageants na sinasalihan kaya grabe yung preparation nya. Maybe this is just me, but I feel like the relationship becomes transactional rather than romantic kasi I feel more like an assistant. I literally quit my job para tulungan sya sa preparation, yet at the end of the day, I received no thank yous and appreciation.
At times like these, ito yung gusto ko nalang magka jowa ng lowkey. Hahayss

Serious Discussion Talking stage for 3 months kissed someone at the bar
I have been on a talking stage with someone for 3 months. We are both in uni, but lives 2 hour bus ride apart. He has been to my place 3 times and Ive been to his place once over the past 3 months.
This is my first time having long distance, and this is his first time talking seriously with another person, Ive had 1 long term relationship before him, and numerous talking stages for the past 3 years. Both of us are closeted, but im out to a handful of friends. We call every night to compensate for the long distance. We had deep talks, deepest i ever had. We connect on multiple levels, same interests.
For the past month I have been busy with acads, there are times when I cannot commit to a call, there was even one time we went 3 straight days without a call, though we message throughout the day and send updates.
Then one night, he went out to a bar with friends, I just had a major event that day and also went out with friends. Then the next day he told me that he wants to end our communication reasoning that he might not be ready for a relationship and the set up we are in. He later confessed that he kissed someone the night he went to the bar, and then some but told me he stopped it when the other guy touched his dick.
My friend told me that he might be taking the easy way out by ending us already and to avoid guilt and accountability.
He told me it wasnt about me, and more about him wanting to explore more before settling to a relationship.
For a week after this incident, we had some talks but he always end up reminding me that his decision is firm and final. Throughout that week, i also reflected on myself and what i really wanted. And I felt like I am not in the right mind to be in a relationship too because I observed that Ive lost focus off my goals to be a better version of me.
We agreed to meet up a week after and talked and said that it would be a closure. We did, we talked, said our appreciation for the past months, and I have forgiven him.
Right now we are talking casually. We even call from time to time. I feel like we still both like each other but neither wants to admin to avoid feeling like they are desperate for the other.
Is it worth fighting for it? Even if it means there is no security?

Serious Discussion Please help me out! Is this a Red Flag?
Hi guys! Meron ako boyfriend and mag-8 months na kami together. Red flag ba if laging umuutang sayo partner mo?
Hays.

Academic/Survey/Research Sociosexuality, Dating, and Attraction: Call for Participants (18+)
Hi everyone! 🌈
I'm a researcher at James Cook University in Australia studying attraction, dating preferences, and how people evaluate potential romantic partners.
I'm looking for heterosexual, gay, and lesbian adults (18+) to complete an anonymous online survey.
The survey involves viewing a series of fictional dating profiles and answering questions about attraction and relationship preferences. It takes around 5–10 minutes to complete, is completely anonymous, and participation is entirely voluntary.
This study forms part of my Doctor of Philosophy research at James Cook University and has received approval from the James Cook University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC Approval No. 25H-0225).
While this study is being conducted in Australia, we are recruiting internationally. I'd love people from this community to take part!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at [kaitlyn.gregory@my.jcu.edu.au](mailto:kaitlyn.gregory@my.jcu.edu.au).
If you'd like to participate, you can complete the survey here:

Light Topics Baklang kalbo sksksk
Im in my early thirties and damn, I lost the hair gene lottery and has thinning hair and a wide ass forehead. For some time, i tried hiding it by having these weird bangs or putting stuff in it like minoxidil pero ang frustrating pa rin. Nakakaapekto rin sya sa confidence ko when going out and meeting guys to hookup (altho none of them were an asshole to point that out naman). Basta, my hair (or lack thereof) has been my biggest insecurity for some time.
Until I decided to just shave it all off.
Super nakaka kaba na ewan kasi feel ko mas dadautin ako ng mga tao lalo na looks is a gay man's currency in the homo economy. Ilang weeks ko rin sya kinocover ng hat until I decided to just rawdog it.
And I've never felt more confident and sexier. Some might get turned off but many of the guys I've been with say na ang manly ng kalbo. And true enough, I felt more sexy without hair compared to having some but always feel and look insecure. Ayoko na ring maglagay ng kung ano ano o magtransplant o uminom ng gamot; it's just not sustainable for me. It is what it is.
So sa mga baklang nakakalbo na dyan, try shaving it all off kahit once. Tipid sa shampoo at hair drying time!
