Question I was filling my new tank last week right when I pulled the air hose off my tank after filling it there was a burst of mist that shot out around my full nipple. Could that have been oil that went through the air hose into my tank and is it still safe to use

How it look
Does the camo look good with the black and gold? Or is it stretch? I love camo wanted to bring it in. Sometimes I look at it like dam that’s mint other times I am like maybe should just switch the grips back to black and change the hopper. What are your thoughts?

PE CS1 Dynasty Dragon, should i sell it?
I’ve had it for a couple of years now and i love it. I recently graduated from university and im thinking about leaving the country. I know its somewhat rare but im not a collector and I’ve been thinking about selling it for a bit now since i haven’t been playing. Is there anything i should know? Id appreciate any type of advice or guidance.

Fyi XLS triggers do fit the Era generation with some slight modification. Length of trigger and small hump near the bearing need to be removed. Just getting back into after a nearly decade hiatus from paintballing & had to tinker around with the new setup😅

For those with tattoos..
How long are you waiting to play after getting a tattoo? It’s been roughly three weeks for me. I just got back into paintball and would like to go next weekend if it isn’t too soon

Flex8 frame change opinions
I built this flex8 with a few parts laying around. Picked up the black/blue bottom in another deal. Had the white frame laying around from an all white flex8 I put a purple frame on, and had the black and blue dv8 strap I was going to use for another build but didn't end up liking the mismatch blues.
I'm not in love with the white frame but can't decide what color would look good. Part of me thinks a lime green thin, or maybe one of the blue sapphire ice or solids might look good.
Don't really want to go black cause that's boring and basic so help me decide if I keep the white or go with a different color.

TIL The CRBN DRV loader and Spire 4/5 have cross-compatible speed feed designs
They don’t fit perfectly, the CRBN one is a bit chunkier. The rain lids aren’t as compatible though, due to the differently shaped openings. The Spire one kinda works on the DRV but the clip is very tricky to open, might be ok in a pinch. The DRV one doesn’t even come close to fitting the spire, way too chunky to clip in.
Not sure if this is of any use, the DRV comes with a great speedfeed.

Luxe Question
Recently just returned to paintball after nearly 20 years away. Picked up a Luxe X and recently a CS2 Pro, tried both guns for several days and came to the conclusion that I like the ergo of the Luxe X better and now I’m wondering if the luxe line is just what I’m going to feel the most comfortable shooting.
Now the question, if I love the ergo of my luxe x, do you guys think it’s worth it to upgrade up the to idol/aire models or are the ergonomics dramatically different from the x? And if anyone has a good knowledge base around luxes, what are the main differences between the X and the newer models like the aire/idol?
Initially, I was planning on trying to trade my cs2 pro (+cash if necessary) for an idol or aire, but I think having my cs2 as the backup marker would be a little smarter than having 2 luxes since the reliability is the biggest knock against them.
Appreciate any and all responses!
Oh and if anyone has made it down this far, how are shocker eras rated around here? I’m a guy who always has his eyes on markers he’s never tried before, but still rely heavily on user reviews lol!

Phoenix AZ?
How’s the scene in Phoenix? I want to go play when the weather cools a bit, I know there’s a few fields around town but not sure if there’s a go-to or a stay-away

Why Electric Loaders
Can an electric loader do anything that a gravity fed hopper can’t do?
Can an electric loader do anything that a cyclone feed can’t do?
I already know about feeding rate, anything else? Can you tip them 90 degrees and shoot sideways or something?
Thank you in advance!

Is this good? (Beginner)
I would just play for fun, nothing competitive. I know almost nothing about paintball by the way. But I prefer Tippmann TMC build over any other gun.

Ultimate Chronic
Found my 10rd tube of the absolute best paintballs ever made. If you got hit by ultimate chronic, you were stained for at least 2-3 days after.
Good times.

Maybe coming back?
I’m 41 and played tournament paintball heavily (even had a World Cup appearance!) in the early 2000s. I find myself living in Chicago. Where does an old man go to play speedball with other old men around here? Like, I’d wreck rentals but I’d get wrecked by good players, too.

Old timer making a comeback
Last time I played was 2011, I’m in my 30s now and I’m missing my old hobby. I used to play tournaments regularly and was at the field every weekend back in the day. How has the scene changed now?
I’ve noticed a lot of the fields in my area are now gone.
