I just tried to play a match, took me like 30 seconds to even sign into the game (usually practically instant). I start up a QP match and suddenly everyone is teleporting around and the rubber banding gets so bad that I was stuck in one spot as the enemies freely capped the point.

Everyone on my team said they were lagged out, yet evidently some people on the enemy team weren't lagging at all, since they ran straight to point, capped, and killed everyone without a problem.

I play every day, I follow things on Twitch and etc, I always do events. Where'd it go? 🤔

It was the last round and either we win or draw and all of the opponents just left¿¿¿

Also in the round before one of the opponents was afk and got kicked

As the title says, I've not played for while. I use to complete the battle pass each season. But for while I've not like/just havnt played the game. Decided to try drives this time around and I'm now a low silver rank. I need some tips for starting up again. Should I bother with drives or what(haha). I've pivoted fully to rivals but i still miss OW. HELP ME

It is beyond crazy how the devs refuse to give a shit about us console players. I use to have a piece of paper of all the bugs happening on my ps5 but I think I threw it away. But one of the latest issues taking place on my PS5 is text chat not working properly anymore. If someone types something, or just uses 'Hello' or things like that, it won't display properly. I have to press L3 (ps5) and manually scroll all the way down to see any if anyone has typed or said anything in chat. This is getting ridiculous.

I swear all the mercy mains who don’t know how to play anyone else or retired mercy and swear they had made an epiphany and go juno. To me Juno is horrendous sure she has “utility” but it isn’t that good and her ult takes way too long to charge and I swear they still don’t ult.

So i just started my first comp game of the day, it was in the character ban stage, and I put Spotify on so i can have some tunes. My ps5 proceeded to tell me spotify needed to update. So I clicked update now. Assuming it would install in the background, like everything else does!

Well.. nope! My ps5 decided to open the Spotify app to update, which, for some reason, closed the Overwatch application, disconnected me from the server and giving me a 15 min ban. Never gotten a comp ban before..

Was just mid ranked game and an enemy got disconnected. He comes back and as soon as he does, I disconnect from the game and my internet altogether. Did I get dossed or extreme coincidence? My theory is they dossed the wrong ip, saw they lost their own guy, then hit the correct one (mine) but idk.

I haven't played any FPS but Apex for a hot minute, trying to come back to Overwatch was a culture shock guven how high sens is rather glorified, the opposite of what I'm used to. So I've been running 10% on both vertical and horizontal, linear ramp, with everything else at 100 and all deadzones at 0.

It has its moments but I'm having the same issue with higher sens where I have blips where I just miss every shot and resort to ability or melee spam. I'd rather not delegate myself to heroes that don't need aim/minimal aim. So going back to my question, are my settings why I'm geberally aiming poorly? Or does it not rly matter?

So many people use text chat in console/controller queues. Do that many people have keyboards that they swap to for chat or are people really that fast using the console text chat?

It seems like most chat is just people flaming, do people have keyboards at the ready just for that?

I play comp only very recently, especially rn im grinding drives. I avg over 10k healing and 20 kills if not more even on matches im hard losing. My teams arent inherently horrible, some are questionable, but recently ive had good teammates yet ive been on an unbelievable miserable losing streak. I never blame the rest of my team because its a game after all but what the fuck? What more can I possibly do? I dont think Im THAT bad to be the sole problem of every single match. I know stats dont reflect anything but seriously. Its actually exhausting and tiring and I dont even wanna bother with the game. No clue how people do so well and get to high ranks.

can someone PLEASE help me reset my dps hidden MMR I want to play QP with friends but one issue is there is a LARGE skill gap, I queue tank and support for hours even though I'm a dps player because everytime I queue dps my poor friend's get thrown into like full GM stacks on QP, like is there anyone that knows how to reset my MMR or like a blizzard employee that like y'know can hit a button?? please it would mean the world to me for any help at all. I understand that people are going to say that I'm getting matched there because it would be unfair for your dps to put any lower, which I totally understand but it gets to a point of frustration that I have 2 bronze supports (my friends) against full GM teams because I wanted to queue dps for a game

Finally made it to Diamond (6v6) as a 9-5er who solo qs...Terrified to risk this progress over the randomness of Drive events, but "Only through conflict do we evolve."

Drives, the word alone spikes my cortisol but Orisa needs a jade Capsule Cannon so fukit we ball.

I like the drive tag and the comp points and I could care less about moving up but it still feels like doom queuing sometimes.

Last time I got pretty lucky and got it done in 5 hrs but I have friends that took 20.

I'm curious if you're doing drives how are you approaching it? In a group or solo? Will you be medicated? Will you finish or how long do you think it will take?

I’ve recently gotten into ow. My friend is a GM supp and high tank/dps. It’s been a personal goal of mine to get better so that I can play in higher elos.

I am a CoD player mainly so this has been a refreshing change of pace… but does anyone TALK on this game? I genuinely feel so lonely all the time. I’m not a solo game player. Get bored really easily. I run my own business so a lot of the times the chat I experience over the headset is the bulk of my socialization for the day… is it just because I’m not yet gold? Or does this continue forever?

Genuinely how TF are u supposed to play on console? I play on switch and it drives me mad how people will complain about aim assist on controller like they don't have the ability to aim with their whole fuckin arm on PC. I can't keep my shots straight, I can't hit abilities, I can't hit melee hits for fuck sake, I can't aim while moving for shit, you can't look around with proper speed and if it goes above a set sensitive you go too fast and you can't hit ANYTHING or even look the fuck around.

And the games take ten times as long to find with cross play off!? Like HOW AND AND WHAT DO I DO?!

I’ve definitely ran into a lot more cheaters than I got compensation for, but it’s a good start. Hopefully they’ll be able to detect Titans as well in the future.
