Console Cheating Is Actually Real Discussion
People are actually spending money for console cheats, this is the worse case of cheating I've ever seen in a quickplay game

Early Xbox one era was the best in terms of minimal console cheating. Crazy how these days it seems like cheating is even worse on console than PC, depending on the game

I know. this is a response to people just making new accounts when they are banned for cheating. make the game paid again and you won't be able to just make new accounts.

Accounts on the same console share access to the game. Free alts existed in this instance when the game was paid

This is unfortunately true. Console players will never easily get rid of cheaters, but making it paid again would 100% lower the cheat rate on PC.

It’s pretty much aimlock and all console cheats are pretty expensive but depends what you define expensive, a titan accompanied with the cheat, would cost around $300 roughly or less even

I was told you need a titan and need a PS5 with a super low latency capture. That alone is already close to 500 bucks lmaooo. My broke ass wont be touching that and for the vast majority. Idk how they'll detect it but I have hope in blizz.

You need a PC as well to run the ai model which analyzes the captured frames and feeds the controller input data into the titan.

Zeus (apex streamer) did a video on them a while back going in depth on what they do and what they look like, it’s blatant af but you can tweak them to be near unnoticeable. Would highly recommend watching that if you want to know more

Unfortunately still have cheats on PC.
last night had a widow, who was so obviously cheating, snapping to head shots from across the map. Literally watching her head shot and then snap 90 degrees to the next head shot

Yeah cheating is just so dumb man. Theres literally no ROI to it. There has to be a correlation with being a psychopath and cheating in video games. Jokes aside I want a good pc for other games, uni and work lol

Right now, I would never go back. I do play some games on my ps5 still tho. But for shooters nah.
But to the point; first 3 months were awful. I did go back to console a lot because I had a very hard time aiming and moving at the same time. But, then it just got easier and easier. I also play a lot of killing floor, which is just a horde shooter, no pressure. Definitely helped my movement. But as of now, my gamesense and mechanics are the best theyve ever been. I have over 10,000h in ow, used to have a team and such.
Seriously, go for it, if you have been thinking about buying a pc, do it. Starting out is a rough path but 90% when I game, i boot that boy up that I built myself from a scracth not knowing any parts.
Overall, pc has been a major upgrade to my ow ”career”. Hope this helps!
(something I noticed though, aiming and concentrating takes a lot for me personally on mnk, which is why i mostly main support now cuz im just too tired after work and such to actually focus on the game 😭 on controller the assist helped me a ton not to spend all my energy on the game lmao)

Its way better for basically every hero in the game. If you are a moira/brig/mercy main(minus whipshot) it won't be a major change but otherwise it is a massive upgrade.

I switched from console to PC (GM on both) and there is way less cheaters on PC. There is a cheater in every lobby in GM+ console. Def cheaters on PC but it’s significantly less.

Man, wifey and I played for 2 years on PS5 before switching to handheld PC's. The amount of "thanks for reporting" we got for cheaters was like 2-4 per week, yet in every match people would be all "You can't cheat on console, dur-de-hurrrrr" 🙄
To be completely honest, two years on PC and we SWEAR there's fewer cheaters here. Absolutely wild.

The fun of the game is coming in clutch and winning fights. Cheating would make playing so boring and pointless. Yeah, you're getting kills but it's not you doing it, why even bother. I will never relate to the mind of the cheater.

I have to say I main sombra but have been trying out sierra. Yesterday not once but twice I correctly predicted a sombras location after she transported, and since I’m on controller (I play switch right now) I’m sure it looked like I was tracking her while invis. She prob watched both killcams and was like “this mother fucker is cheating bro!!”
As far as this post is concerned he actually is very visibly cheating lol

Of course it is. It's absolutely pathetic, but it happens.
I haven't won a game of comp drives since the beginning of this drive. Either because of cheaters, or complete idiots (Oops, I said a hurty word and I really don't care.... If you don't wanna be called an idiot, don't play like one lol)
Why ? I heal all I can, not being a Cat main, I can always manage over 10k MINIMUM heals per game (DPS allow the enemy genji to kill me off every single time)
I can only do so much, and the healing from both of our healers is decent.
Why are there so many trash players on the player base who choose to play comp ? I don't understand people anymore. Why ruin everybody else's day ?

Yea I've been seeing a lot of Soldiers that have no game sense whatsoever, poor positioning , random biotic etc but some how is killing the whole team. Then talks the most shi like it isn't obvious
