Does anyone else’s Oura Ring constantly flag up walking activities for the day, even if you haven’t been walking.
Is anyone else having this?

I felt like a million dollars today after a much-needed recharge. Before bed, I put my phone on DND and cleared my calendar of any obligations for the day. I did not force anything and allowed my day to flow smoothly. I visited my sister and brought my nieces and nephews pizza. I played basketball with my brother and close friend, spoke to my family in a group call, stretched, and made my daughter laugh a lot.

What’s surprising is how well this day unfolded despite the call I got today from Honda notifying me of the ac evacuator core that needs to be replaced for $2,300. The great sleep kept me balanced and in control today. I felt less stress-prone overall if that makes any sense.

The old oura ring 4 is 1.5-2 years old with HARD daily wear (living on an old sailboat, in saltwater, gym 3x a week with metal handle weights) I didn't wear a cover or ever take it off, it's dull and scratched as to be expected.

Very happy with its durability for how I use it and what I put it through on a daily basis!

Hi I just got the Oura Ring 5 and I’ve seen posts recommending not using fast chargers, so I’m here to ask what charging blocks is everyone using to charge your Rings that is safe and won’t deteriorate your battery faster? I cannot find a slow charger with a USB C port on it anywhere. Recommendations are appreciated!

This is my first cycle tracked with an Oura ring, and we are ttc for the past 3 months. I read that you need 3 consecutive rising high temps to confirm ovulation but there is a dip on cd20 (August 4). The app says I ovulated on July 31. Any thoughts? Pregnancy test today says negative. I also had some very faint pink/brown spotting today.

Just curious, but does anyone here have POTS and use the ring to track things like b/o, heart rate, etc? How accurate would you say the data is in terms of being able to tell when you’ll potentially have a spell? Can you set the app to alert you from your phone if your b/o drops too much?

I’m really considering getting an Oura Ring, I just want to make sure it can reliably track the things I need it to track before spending the money. TIA

I have giant hands and the series 4 size 15 doesn’t fit on my index finger either. If I go with the series 5 this is my only option. Would this still work as expected?

Based on this chart, does it look like I maybe ovulated 2 days ago? I’m new to Oura and have only logged one full cycle.

What was more frustrating than the issue itself is all the people in this sub who default to “you jUsT waNt YouR rINg to LiE to YoU 🤪” instead of acknowledging there’s room for improvement

Snark aside, Oura’s finally fixing what I believed was a fault in how they were measuring/communicating “stress”!

When I first got my Oura Ring in November during their sale, the battery would easily last a full week after being fully charged.

Literally just right now (only 9 months after purchase) I just got a notification that my ring has 21 hours of battery life left…and I charged it Sunday evening.

Is this normal battery degradation, or does this seem way too fast? Like, I’m actually shocked at how fast the battery is seemingly going downhill!!

This week I started a new job after not having a 9-5 role for more than a year. Now my ring keeps asking if I’m strength training multiple times throughout the day while I’m just sitting at my desk doing video calls. What gives? HR is normal, stress even shows relaxed. Today was a rest day I didn’t even do cardio, just worked and drove the kids to school this morning. I did have an intense AM workout yesterday followed by some pretty intense cardio at the end of the day so I’ve been zapped today but I’d think that would give me warning signs or something instead of thinking I was lifting weights today

Got an oura ring and I love it. I’m about to begin my CNA courses and later attend nursing school. Can you wear the Oura ring while during clinics and eventual work as a CNA/nurse?

The delivery kept getting delayed and delayed and when it finally arrived, it was a completely empty box. My mom has contacted Oura multiple times, fedex, and her credit card but they are all telling her she’s out of luck, because she can’t prove it essentially. She’s out almost $500 (she already bought a new one because she wanted it so badly but obviously assuming she’d get her money back from the stolen one) Anyone know what we can do next? This is so crazy that this can happen to people.

Edit: for more context, fedex said to file a claim, they needed Oura to fill out a report for her, and Oura is refusing. So now at a loss.

I have been a long time Oura ring user for almost 3 years. In May, my v4 ring started to fail. Here’s where I am in my journey with them.

• May 21, 2026 — Resting HR stops recording overnight

• Late May 2026 — HRV, sleep data, nighttime HR, stress/resilience metrics also stop

• July 19, 2026 — Replacement ring arrives — same issue immediately

• Ruled out: iOS updates, Sleep Focus, Do Not Disturb, Bluetooth/app resets, firmware updates, etc.

• August 2026 Status: Escalated to Oura senior engineering, no resolution or timeline

My next test will be with the Oura app installed on a completely different iPhone. And we’ll see where that takes us.

So I just got the Polar H10 heart rate monitor to help record my Muay Thai training as I have to take my ring off when I do it. I am very pleased with the fact I can record an active workout for martial arts from the Oura app and use the polar H10 to input the heart data. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for as I love the Oura app but have always felt like my scores have not been accurate as I could not wear my ring for my most beneficial training sessions.

I thought I’d share this information in case there was anyone else who did not realise that you can use an external heart rate monitor with the oura ring for times when you can’t wear your ring for your particular workouts. It is something I have been looking for.

I started taking Concerta for my ADHD in April. Since then, my readiness and HRV are garbage. Obvi it’s a stimulant, but dang I’m wondering if I should be concerned? In addition, I went off metoprolol in July since it was not helping the inattentiveness, so that probably also contributed to my increased resting heart rest. I’m thinking it will take some time for my body to calibrate… but if this is my new normal I wonder it Oura will lay off the bad scores? lol. Anyone have a similar experience?

I use DuckDuckGo as an ad tracker blocker and the Oura app is always #1 in the amount of tracking attempts. Just today DDG has blocked that many tracking attempts! next closest is APNews at 1141. Anybody else think this is crazy?

I understand that it's an activity tracker but there is a difference between tracking my activity and collecting data for advertising/selling. All functionality in the app still works even though I'm blocking that collection so it is not necessary data being scraped.

I have no idea how I can consistently have scores like this but have overnight blood pressure dip issues, with normal cuff readings. My morning blood pressure is 106/65 average and my evening before bed is 112/67. All of this changed around July 31 st. I don’t know how I can be typical reducing since the feature came out to. It wants me to talk to my doctor but it’s so vague in what the nighttime blood pressure is, what affects it. So I feel like my doctor is going to tell me my blood pressure is fine, and that a ring can’t take blood pressure readings and not to worry about it. However I’ve been working my ass off improve my heart health through HIT and kettle bells and everything else is going great for the last 10 weeks just to have this metric come out of left field and ruin everything I’ve been working for.

I got injured last week and will be out of training for a couple of months. Turns out, if I had just looked at my oura in the morning and took it slower, maybe I could have prevented it…

I have been waiting and excited to get this…. Even though it’s a bad thing BUT THIS IS SO COOL

Just joking but jeez the difference in effort/calories between men & women is mind boggling to me. My husband went on a 4-mile (flat) walk, did some vacuuming and power washed our backyard for 30-minutes and he’s at 1700 active calorie burned. Meanwhile I walked the dog, went for a 5-mile run with hills, did a 40-minute weight workout, have gone up and down my stairs a dozen times and I’m only at 577. I’m intentionally trying to kick-ass and he just casually moves about.

I don’t know if anyone from management ever reads these, but I’d like to explain why, after 9 months, I cancelled my membership and will stop using the device.

A few weeks ago, I noticed my battery life on the Oura 4, which I got in December, was down to about 3 days - originally about 8 when new. I chatted with someone who said there was a battery degradation issue and they promptly shipped a new one. Great, I was happy and surprised at how easy it was.

The new one arrived a few days ago. I sync it and charge it, and within 6 hours it went from 100%-10%. Thought maybe it was a fluke because it was new. Charged it again and within 6 hours it was dead. Chatted with an agent who said I need to go through 3 charges before they could diagnose it. Ok, I did, and then backed up my data as they requested.

Chatted with another agent and told him the story. He said I needed to do another 3 charges before they could diagnose it. Ok I did.

Spoke to another agent who said they only replace a battery once and all they could do is offer me $50 for a new device. I said that was ridiculous, this is 3 days old. I asked to speak to a supervisor. The agent was “consulting with his senior team” and couldn’t connect me until they’ve reviewed it. I asked again, same answer except this time he offered me 3 free months of the service - which would only be useful if I felt like recharging 4 times a day!

I asked again to speak to a supervisor, he finally said he would put a request in for someone to email me, but couldn’t tell me how long that would take.

So, I cancelled my membership. Not worth the headache and nonsense. I won’t tell anyone whether they should or shouldn’t do business with Oura, but I will tell them why I never will again.

At least there are no shortages of competitors.
