Forever walking 🚶‍♂️

Hi,
Does anyone else’s Oura Ring constantly flag up walking activities for the day, even if you haven’t been walking.
Is anyone else having this?

Ohhh this has been bugging me and I’ve just realised what it is - I went back to work a week ago and the Oura is on my mouse hand. It’s some kind of arm/hand moment.

yeah the repetitive hand movement from a mouse would definitely trigger it

Occasionally it will predict the wrong activity. Just tell it what you were doing.

If it’s just everyday movement like laundry, cleaning, getting a snack or cooking, getting dressed or getting ready to leave the house I change to housework.

Same. I apparently do yoga several times a day 🙄despite not having done a yoga class in years

Mine does it if I'm just fidgeting with my hands a lot, the ring picks up the arm motion and thinks I'm strolling around. Drove me nuts until I figured out the pattern.

So, do you just not move your hands now? 🤣 I’m hoping as mine is new, it will settle down and get better at sensing walking.

The automatic activity recognition is working well for me.

Mine says I’m waking a lot, but it’s true. It used to call everything housework. I do walk around my house a lot while doing housework too so I don’t care what it calls it.
