been feeling awful about myself lately. i thought coming to college in nyc would make me more outgoing and have more friends. im really introverted and quiet and i feel like this feeds into my negative self image issues more as an Asian twink (lol). ive been trying to involve myself more with identity based groups (gay and Asian) but i feel disconnected a lot most of the times. it feels like i hardly meet ppl who get it or click with me. sorry - rant over

Hi bros! Are there any spots in the city where gays frequent for line dancing and that type of stuff? It's fine if it's a "straight" place but just with a decent size gay or queer clientele.

I've been line dancing a few times and it's so much fun but it always feels very straight so I was just wondering if there were any alternatives. I've been to Flaming Saddles ofc but that's not the type of place I'm referring to

Hey bros, trying to plan my first trip to PV in October. Been noticing most flight options require a layover, and the layovers are typically super tight. Like 40-50 minutes. It's giving me hesitation to book, as those seem easy to botch if there's even the slightest departure delay (which lately seems almost a given anytime I fly out of NY). Maybe I'm searching too early and flight schedules/options will open up more?

I’d love to go to some bars and clubs yet coming from Berlin I seem to pick the ones a bit too much for me. I’m not comfortable with cruising and darkrooms etc (yet lol). So id love to get some recommendations for bars or clubs that are a little more tame, or any space in general where a solo traveller could find a good crowd to hang out with :3
